Chapter 22 — Practice Aura

“Then, let's start practicing aura,”

“Ya, Mom!”

Luminas answered him with an excited tone.

“Before we start, mom will ask you one question. Lumi, what do you think a magic knight is?”

Luminas explained that the magic knight is a knight who trains both his aura and his magic. Many magic knights were famous for their power, including Selena. He is known as one of the strongest magic knights in history.

“Do you think that's the case? Does that mean the magic knights are very strong?”

The entire magic energy Selena released was gathered in her palm. Then then he pressed his palm bit by bit onto Luminas back.

It appears that Selena's grayish magic energy is entering Luminas' body by force.

“Ughhh,”

Luminas groaned as Selena's magic energy forced its way into her body. His back was very hot and painful. It was as if a heated knife was slowly piercing Luminas' body.

From the back of the Luminas, magic energy began to scatter throughout Luminas' body. The magic energy seemed to forcefully barge into Luminas' body and open the path of his aura.

As the magic energy began to spread throughout the body, Luminas moans started to sound firmer. He felt a tremendous pain from his body, it felt like something was digging inside his body.

The magic energy that was forming a pathway in Luminas' body seemed to be digging and tearing through the flesh. They continued to break through without anything blocking it.

Selena who saw Luminas in pain became a little shaky, she suddenly became doubtful whether the decision taken by her was right or not. He felt very guilty when Luminas seemed to have trouble holding back his pain just for the sake of receiving a request from Selena.

As the flow of magic energy that was breaking through began to slow down, Luminas was aware of her mother who was hesitant about her decision. His mother's sweaty face and his eyes, which were drawn by a mother's worries, made Luminas' heart warm.

‘So this is the affection of a mother?’

Thinking about it, Luminas smiled.

“Mother!!! Do you feel doubt now?! Do you feel doubt just from seeing me in pain?!”

Hearing Luminas who suddenly snapped at her Selena became jolted.

“It's not your fault mom!!! It was my decision to become stronger!! I will become the strongest magic knight and surpass you mother. I will become stronger, in order to protect everyone I love, including you, mother,”

When listening to the words of Luminas, Selena's heart became filled. Initially hesitating because of her personal feelings, now Selena's face shows that she is full of determination.

‘If I hesitate here, then I am a bad mother for not being able to fulfill her daughter's wishes,'

Selena then moved her teeth firmly and re-flowed her magic energy into Luminas' body.

“Akhhhh,”

Luminas groaned even harder, he felt that the magic energy entering his body was flowing more profusely than before. It felt like the magic energy was now breaking through and forming a path faster than before.

The magic energy continued to break through and form aura pathways throughout Luminas' body. When it had reached the end of the path the magic energy could create, it flowed towards the path that the other energies had created.

These energies continue to spin in the body of the Luminas to form a connected path. They form a pathway that connects directly to the heart of Luminas.

“Listen, Lumi. The center of an aura is their heart. When the mana flows, it is stored in your heart, and the mana stored in your heart is transformed into an aura that is your own aura, which is why the heart is the center of the aura. So, focus yourself and collect all the mana scattered all over your body into your heart,”

After saying this, all the magic energy in Luminas' body spread randomly, suddenly moving in the same direction towards Luminas' heart.

The entire path of aura had been formed, now Selena had not only inserted her magic energy, but also the pure magic energy from nature.

From a distance, a bluish-colored pure magic energy seemed to gather towards Selena. But they did not enter Selena's body, but rather towards her palm which was flowing energy towards Luminas. The pure magic energy is drawn by Selena directly from nature into the body of Luminas through the middle of her palm.

Not only Selena's energy, now the pure magic energy from nature is also heading towards the heart of Luminas through which path is made. Mana and Selena's energy flock to enter the heart of Luminas.

Luminas who listened to Selena's instructions instantly understood when Selena's magic energy as well as a pure mana entered her heart slowly.

When it touches the heart, Luminas' chest feels hot, as well as the chest where his heart is beating in pain. It felt like his heart was being squeezed.

Initially the heart belongs to Luminas is only the center from which pure stored temporarily and will be processed into an elemental energy. But when a pure mana combined with Selena's energy enters the heart of Luminas through a different pathway, Luminas feels excruciating pain.

This is because magic energy and pure mana enter the heart through different paths, so that magic energy and pure mana must break into the heart again.

When Luminas felt that the magic energy and pure mana from the outside was trying to enter his heart, Luminas did not remain silent. Like the instructions from Selena, Luminas gathers and also directs its own energy and pure mana that enters its body.

Behind Luminas, Selena's face also appeared drenched in sweat as it let out a large mana continuously. He did not expect that his daughter would absorb his mana of nature and energy as powerful as this.

The luminas that were closing their eyes were unaware of any changes to the surrounding situation. He only focused on absorbing the mana that entered from the outside and processing it into an aura.

Luminas's face looked even more agonized, he attempted to fuse the mana from the outside to form an aura center that would coexist with his magic energy.

When Luminas was focusing on cultivating mana into an aura, suddenly Luminas' body emitted a thin blue-white light. The blue white aura emitted a cold energy that froze around as well as the thing it touched directly.

Luminas seemed to involuntarily give off an aura while being focused in cultivating the aura of his. Over time, the aura emitted by the Luminas grew stronger as time went on.

The aura it emanated was now thicker, as well as the radius that was frozen as its aura also widened. Even Selena is now breathing, the air is emitting steam.

Selena felt a pretty intense cold flowing from her palm all over her body. Selena wanted to stop this channeling of mana but the aura swirling all over Luminas' body seemed to be unstable. He argued that at least he would be here until the aura possessed by the Luminas became more stable.

After a while, Selena saw the flow of aura circulating throughout Luminas' body begin to look stable. The flow of aura continues to flow to form an aura circulation that rotates from the heart to the rest of the body.

He removed his hand from Luminas' back and stopped the continuous stripping.

Luminas seemed to ignore everything that was happening around him. He kept his eyes closed without caring about anything and remained focused in the circulation where he had just formed.

Selena took a few steps back and watched him from a distance away. The aura emanating from Luminas body seemed to gradually get better. Its aura seemed thicker and stronger, it also looked calmer and more stable, unlike earlier that it could freeze everything that the aura touched.

When Selena seemed engrossed in watching Luminas practicing, a man's voice seemed to be heard from above where Selena's room was.

“Your Majesty, the help you requested from the Knight Order of the Palace has arrived,”

“!! All right, I'll be there in a minute,”

Selena was slightly surprised by the voice of someone calling her from above all of a sudden. Usually Selena is sensitive to the presence of a person, but in this room the presence or detection of which has been blocked due to the effects of the stone.

From outside Selena's room, a man wearing a maid outfit who called out to Selena gradually left.

Selena walked towards Luminas and stroked her head.

Selena walked down the hallway to return to the main hall of the residence. When Selena reached the main hall, she saw three men sitting in the guest chair with many soldiers escorting them standing behind her.

Selena walked over to them. As Selena approached them, three men sitting in the guest chair got up from their seats instantly, and they immediately knelt down.

“We from the Order of the Knights of the Palace, greet Her Majesty Queen Selena as well as the commander-in-chief of this war,”

The three of them were an aura master that came from the Knight Order of the Palace.

A man with short, flaming red hair he is Count Corrinus. To the right of Count Corrinus was a man with dark brown hair with a thick mustache, Count Harris. To the left of Count Corrinus was a man with wavy blue hair, Count Tarius.

Looking at the three people with the strength of this aura master Selena observed them with a serious expression.

“Three of you seems pretty promising,”

“Thank you for the compliment, Your Grace,”

They were worried to see Selena's dissatisfied expression. Although Selena praised them, the expression shown by Selena was quite the opposite. They assumed that the three of them did not meet the criteria of the queen and the queen taunted them with praise.

They were worried that they would let Selena down. However they did not know that Selena was displaying such an expression because she had been bullied while she was looking at Luminas who was practicing.

“Lead your troops to the battlefield now. I'll catch up with you in two days' time,”

With a sinister expression Selena said that to them in a low voice.

For fear of further upsetting Selena, without much talking they immediately obeyed the orders given by Selena and answered her loudly and simultaneously.
