Chapter 27 — Magic Knights(4)

[One day ago, Selena's secret training ground]

After releasing the ice sword magic, Luminas fell lying on the floor. While looking at the ceiling of the room, he was deep in thought.

‘If using aura and magic sword simultaneously allow... Then is it possible to use another spell while using a spell?’

Luminas then got up and stood up. He wanted to try something on his head.

In the scorching sun at that time, Javier was running in the hallway to the training ground. At the time Javier was on duty to patrol the Selena residence.

But when he heard the loud cheers coming from this training ground, he and several knights ran towards the training ground. He felt confused when he saw Luminas standing in front of a man who was lying and the man looked familiar in Javier's eyes.

‘... Isn't that Arga?’

Initially Javier was unaware of what was going on, but after he asked one of the people in the arena he was surprised and could not keep his mouth shut.

“WHAT?!! THE PRINCESS DUELED WITH ARGA AND MANAGED TO WIN FROM HER?!”

Upon hearing this Javier's body suddenly drooped limp and almost fell to the floor. He was then sustained by a knight who ran to the training ground with him.

The knights who had come with Javier looked panicked at the sight of their captain suddenly becoming limp.

“A-I'm fine. I'm just surprised that the Princess managed to win when competing with Arga,”

Javier tries to get hold of himself and starts to stand up.

‘Mr Princess, you really...’.

‘LUNARY ORDINARY... LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE INDEED REINCARNATION FROM EMPRESS ARIA!’

Javier stared at Luminas with sparkling eyes and full of admiration, his nature as a huge fan of Empress Aria appeared.

While excited and preoccupied with his thoughts on Luminas, who is the reincarnation of Empress Aria, Javier suddenly realizes Scott is now face to face with Luminas.

‘Hm? What is senior doing there?’

Javier then asked someone who was on the edge of the training ground.

“What is Captain Scott doing? Oh, the Princess challenged him to a match practice and Captain Scott agreed,”

“So, Captain Scott will fight with Princess,”

Javier nodded in understanding.

“A-WHAT?! PRINCESS AND SENIOR WILL FIGHT?!”

‘From Her Highness Queen Selena, Chief Servant James, to Senior Scott, none of them are sane except me... Why should I be placed in this place?!’

Javier scratched his head in frustration. He really thought that he was the only sane one here. But he himself did not realize, that everyone in this residence called Javier a maniacal fan of Empress Aria who was not sane.

Javier who was frustrated was surprised, when suddenly Scott pointed at him without looking at him. He was confused and did not know who Scott was pointing to until Scott mentioned his name.

A bunch of arrows suddenly appeared around Luminas. The arrow appears to be made of water, but around it there is a wind that strengthens the water arrow.

But when Scott's body was about to touch the ground, he suddenly restored his balance by turning and setting his foot on the ground. After he landed stably, without waiting for long Scott immediately shot towards Luminas.

Scott did not intend to lose just like that in this fight, even though this was only a match practice, but strangely he felt that he should not lose. Scott once again swung and attacked Luminas with his sword.

The attack launched by Scott no longer had a special technique, the attack was only a force and speed directed by his instincts. He felt his gaze start to blur, his hands droop, and his body like it would fall down at any time. Luminas who saw Scott who had lost his strength, concentrated all his strength into his legs and charged forward toward Scott. He swung his sword firmly towards his wrist.

Scott, who was attacked in the wrist area, could not hold his sword anymore. The sword slipped and bounced into the air. Luminas who saw Scott no longer holding his sword immediately attacked Scott's body mercilessly like a punching bag.

Scott lasted longer than Luminas expected, he did not expect even though he had been attacked like this for some time he was still standing and had not fallen.

Luminas admires Scott's determination to try to survive despite desperate circumstances. But no matter how strong Scott's determination was, his body could no longer lie. Scott finally collapsed after Luminas beat him until he was completely exhausted.
