Trouble Honey

Trouble Honey
Moments Both

”Why did Sir Joan treat me like this?”

After feeling more silence made the atmosphere between them feel awkward, Jiyya finally spoke up. The girl's chin is in the right shoulder of Sir Joan.

“What's it like?”

“Yes, like this. Carry me, and drive me home.”

“Let's just say I'm being kind to a beautiful student who's heartbroken.”

“I'm not heartbroken.” Jiyya said, even so her expression could not be read if Sir Joan could see how her face was now. “And I... I'm sorry,” murmured Jiyya.

Sir Joan did not immediately comment, instead the man simply continued his footsteps leading Jiyya towards the car he parked in the courtyard of the restaurant he had previously visited.

“For what?” Finally after Sir Joan considered many things Jiyya heard her voice slightly lower and softer. The man may think not to say something that will hurt him, or use a tone of speech that will offend him.

Jiyya's mouth was slightly gaping before she answered Sir Joan's words to her. “For my bad attitude a moment ago. I know that I am very stupid for missing him.”

Frankly upon hearing the second confession from Jiyya, Joan's heart felt a little twitching in pain. He doesn't like that. But he also cannot escape the reality. He paused his steps for a moment, and realized that he had already arrived at the restaurant's parking lot.

The man chose to let the silence go, focusing himself on unlocking his car first and making sure Jiyya to sit in the passenger seat first. At least from the time lag Joan made, she was able to respond to the girl's words in a better way. Not with excessive emotion, but completely pure view of logic.

After everything was sorted out, the man then spun around to sit in the steering chair. Jiyya was still silent, her eyes blank. Joan doesn't like that.

“Want my hearing?” Joan broke the silence. Jiyya Kontan glanced at him. The girl had a slightly difficult expression to define.

“Ya.”

“In my opinion, it is not stupid at all.”

Jiyya did not reply anymore, seeing the response the girl made for her. Joan was a little worried that the girl would cry like that. If that happens, Joan is afraid she's doing the wrong thing to calm her down. Especially when Joan found Jiyya's eyebrows wrinkled with her chin slightly shaking. In the next second, he shook his head. It seems that Jiyya is trying not to get carried away by the feelings and atmosphere that accidentally happened between the two of them because of one name.

“Did Sir Joan ever miss him? I mean, you, Dean, and Bestian seem to have a very close relationship as teachers and students. I said at least so.”

Joan who was originally about to start her car engine suddenly canceled the intention. He looked ahead, without a sound. He never expected that Jiyya would question something like this to him. This was the kind of conversation he never thought would come to the fore in this way.

Does Joan miss Bestian? He had no curiosity about it at all. Just don't cross it. Joan has so far not known if she misses the real Bestian or if she misses him in terms of emotional bonding. Emotional ties that intertwine over time are not as lecturers and students but rather bonds of friendship between men. And if seen again Bestian honestly is a perfect student and the most Joan can be proud of after she jumped in for the first time in the field of teaching.

However, when she looked Jiyya in a deeper way, Joan knew she had to say something. He should have an answer even though he himself was unsure.

“Ya.” Joan finally opened her voice after a long time, her voice sounded steady even though deep down she felt pain.

Jiyya observed her face for a while. Now the two men seem to exchange the same grief and memories. To Joan, Jiyya was a sweet and very beautiful girl. She had already transformed into a graceful and earthy female figure. He also already knew how the ins and outs of Jiyya could put his heart on Bestian. Joan admitted that the two men were a compatible couple. It's just that their destiny is different. Their relationship is not working as it should.

The two of them stared at each other in deep silence. At the end of her gaze, Jiyya suddenly tilted her head and then smiled at Joan.

“Come, we go home now Sir. I feel tired.”

Listen to the call, and how to say it. Joan could also feel the tiredness that the girl felt. Though fatigue is not something that can be transmitted, but Joan actually felt it as if it was transferred by Jiyya to him.

Joan glanced and now Jiyya was sitting quietly in her position with her head facing the window of her car. It was as if Joan was no longer interesting to look at. Perhaps the night atmosphere is more charming to watch.

Deciding to grant the girl's invitation, Joan starts the engine of her car and takes the four-wheeled iron horse immediately away from the restaurant's courtyard.

It only takes about fifteen minutes for Joan to drive Jiyya to a building that the man remembers as Jiyya's residence. Joan is not a stalker or anything, but Dean once told her about Jiyya's place of residence, so the man can easily remember her until now. More so than Dean anyway, Joan knows that the girl has been living alone since High School. It was a pleasant piece of information to hear, but Joan had never really visited like this.

The man sighed before Joan finally realized that the girl he was carrying appeared to be sound asleep in the passenger seat. Joan did not wake him. The man prefers to look at her. Jiyya looks beautiful when the girl closes her eyes, her lips look wrinkled, but still quite tempting to be crushed as she wants.

Joan wakes Jiyya up and tells her that they have arrived. Joan did not do it. She took this moment as an opportunity for her to get closer to Jiyya. The man then stretched out his hand to just gently touch the girl's cheek. Ignoring the electric shock that directly radiated through his veins as his fingers clashed with Jiyya's delicate cheeks. This is totally insane. Joan once touched on another more challenging piece. But unfortunately, he was even nervous when he touched Jiyya's cheek which was still fairly normal to touch.

“Jiyya, is after this all you still don't want to give up on him? Does that mean I don't have a chance to fill your heart?” That's a ridiculous narrative for Joan to say. Moreover, he heard it in front of Jiyya who was asleep. Isn't that like talking to a rock?

“Hey, if you fall asleep like this you can invite danger to yourself. I know you think I'm just your lecturer. But I don't just look at you as my student, Jiyya. It's dangerous for you to keep loosening your defenses like this. I'm a man too. Even arguably the jerk who took a lot of chances to be able to touch you,” Joan murmured again.

At first his heart was tempted to do something crazy. Such as touching the part that teases her or even enjoying the lower part of the girl's body while she is asleep. Yeah, that's a brilliant idea. But unfortunately Joan still had enough brains to use. He did not want Jiyya to turn around hating him if he missteps.

To be honest, Joan was worried that Jiyya would be angry because she could be said to attack him when Jiyya was in a vulnerable condition. Touching her like that under the pretext of wanting to help. But Joan is a jerk, isn't she?

Instead of performing a demonic whisper that stopped by her, Joan returned to her original position and leaned her body on the steering chair.

There was a few minutes of silence and the man's blank gaze leaped towards the night sky. He closed his own eyes, then let his wishful thinking soar. Immediately after that all that could be heard was just their breathing that seeped into the surrounding air.

Jiyya and Joan both fell asleep in the car.
