Chapter 12 Ayana's Regret

After Ayana had dinner in the kitchen together with Bik Darmi, she returned to her room to study. 

Tristan's words about her feelings for Ruby always ring in Ayana's ears. She absolutely could not accept if her husband expressed his feelings for the other woman before her.

Ayana instantly turned her attention from the laptop in front of her towards the door of her room.

"Can't you knock on the door before you enter someone's room?" asked Ayana with her cynicism.

Rafael grinned at the nagging of his wife. He closed the door and approached his wife.

Ayana looked annoyed at her husband. She ignored him even though Rafael was sitting next to her. Ayana is busy with her laptop.

"You have a laptop as well" Rafael said as he approached Ayana's laptop.

"You don't think villagers have laptops? Even though it's ugly, the important thing is that it can still be worn. And I'm proud to wear it because I worked so hard to buy this laptop, even if it's just a used laptop," said Ayana prides herself on her achievement.

I don't know why Rafael's heart felt full hearing Ayana's words. Actually he had no intention to insult Ayana, he just wanted to ask about Ayana's relationship with Satria. 

But he couldn't possibly ask her just like that, he tried to ask her something else first and it just so happened that Rafael's eyes were fixed on the laptop that was being used by Ayana.

Unfortunately Ayana interpreted another question posed by Rafael. Actually Ayana was not offended, it was just that she was upset with her husband. So that all his words only become a scolding to channel his anger.

"I'm proud of you Ay" said Rafael, smiling and gently rubbing Ayana's long hair.

Suddenly, Ayana's heart was racing. In his heart he said,

"What'sthis? What the hell is going on? Why is he so good to me?

"Emmm... Ay, have you known Satria for a long time?" rafael asked carefully.

"Just was this afternoon. He took me to the office to collect all my files. What's the matter?" ayana asked as she scrunched her forehead.

Rafael shook his head. Then he said,

"You don't get close to him. You have to remember, what you came here for. And you also have to remember our relationship" Rafael told Ayana while looking at what Ayana was working on using her laptop.

Ayana stopped her work. He looked at Rafael and said,

"Can you also stop seeing the female fox Ruby? Can you break up with her?" ayana asked with a gaze filled with doubt on Rafael.

But Rafael widened his eyes. She did not think that Ayana would return the ban to her. Then he said,

"Don't link Ruby to this problem."

Ayana smiled cynically at Rafael. Then he continued his work saying,

"Are you stupid or pretending to be stupid? If you can relate to other women, why can't I? I am also free to relate to other men."

Hearing that, immediately made Rafael's heart upset. He was angry at what his wife said. 

"Listen. Ay, face up here. Listen to me" said Rafael sternly and sounded very upset.

"I'm busy" Ayana said without distracting her from her laptop screen.

At once Rafael's hand closed Ayana's laptop by force. Ayana's eyes widened and her face showed her annoyance.

"You-you"

Ayana was about to get angry at Rafael, but she stopped. He didn't want to waste his energy just for Rafael who was completely unwilling to understand him.

He forgot his anger and reopened his laptop.

At once Rafael was shocked to hear Ayana's words. He immediately grabbed the laptop and fiddled with it, trying to turn it on.

But his efforts were in vain. The laptop will not turn on.

"Cock can't light up anyway? Is the battery out?" rafael asked as he tried to turn on his laptop.

With a quick movement, Ayana took the laptop back from Rafael's hand and said,

"It's all because of you. Why are you even wearing my laptop cover-up? Batteries exhausted? Just so you know if the battery just charged full."

Rafael feels guilty for Ayana. He just boasts of his hard work. And now the laptop of his hard work was damaged because of him.

Without warning Rafael went out of Ayana's room. He said nothing to Ayana.

Ayana only glanced cynically at Rafael who was walking out of her room.

"Huffftttt... What are these trials of God? I have to be patient. I have to be able to deal with all of this" Ayana said in a trembling voice and her hand flailing her chest, hoping that the tightness in her chest could be reduced even though it wasn't completely gone.

A little while later, Rafael goes back into Ayana's room with a laptop in his hand.

"Ay, sorry. I didn't mean to ruin it. You just use this laptop first. Laptop yours let me really first yes," said Rafael while giving his laptop.

Ayana looked at Rafael and the laptop he was carrying alternately. Then he said,

"Then what are you wearing?"

Rafael smiled and sat down next to Ayana while saying,

"I still have another laptop. You just wear this one. And give me your laptop, I'll justify it as much as possible" Rafael said with a sweet smile and swapped Ayana's laptop for hers.

Ayana opens Rafael's laptop and tries to turn it on. He briefly operated it, then he smiled sweetly at Rafael as he said,

"I used it until my laptop turned back on."

Rafael was stunned by the sweet smile Ayana gave him. The sweet smile revealed two dimples that were able to distract all of Rafael's attention to him.

"Rafa, what's wrong with you?" ayana asked as she moved her hands to the right and to the left, trying to resuscitate Rafael who looked dreamy.

"Eh, what? What were you talking about?" rafael asked nervously and misbehaved.

Ayana chuckles at Rafael who looks funny while being nervous like this.

And again Rafael again stunned to see Ayana who laughed freely. For some reason if he was with Ayana, Rafael forgot about Ruby. Unfortunately, Rafael was not aware of that.

"Rafa, I want to do this. Are you done?" ayan asked with her serious face.

Rafael sighed, he felt driven away by his own wife. Then he said,

"Did you throw me out? Remember, you prepared me."

"I won't forget. But that only applies if you act the same as your ban on me. If you are still with the fox, then there is no reason for me not to be friends with other men" Ayana said firmly and looked very serious.

Hearing the words of Ayana made Rafael so worried and upset. She felt annoyed with herself who had unknowingly become closer to Ayana.

Rafael exits Ayana's room with Ayana's laptop.

Bik Darmi sees Rafael coming out of Ayana's room. He hides to be invisible to Rafael.

"Where are you Raf?" rania asked when she saw Rafael walking through the living room.
