Chapter 26 The same punishment

Ayana and Rafael try as quickly as possible to finish the bath. They don't want to be scolded by their mother anymore.

Without agreement, they went out of the room simultaneously. They are both misbehaved and nervous when walking together.

Rania and Antonio tried to hold back their laughter looking at Ayana and Rafael who were coming down the stairs clumsily and glanced at each other. It would be obvious if they were wrong at the moment.

According to Rania's direction, Antonio should be able to keep his wife so that she does not look happy.

The dining room feels cold. The unfriendly faces of Rania and Antonio make Rafael and Ayana like they are being tried by their mom and dad.

They both remained silent and lowered their heads. Until Rania started by taking food for her husband.

Ayana also started to move. He took Rafael's plate and filled it with rice and side dishes.

Rania and Antonio just glanced. They don't want to be seen watching them.

The atmosphere of the dining room remains tense. Unlike usual that felt very lively with their jokes and chatter. Now this only sounds the twang of spoons and forks that collide with their respective plates.

"The two of you immediately went to the living room after you finished eating" said Antonio after sipping his water.

Ayana and Rafael looked at each other. They wanted to find out what they would say later. Unfortunately, there was no chance for them to speak together.

Now they both sit in front of Rania and Antonio. They are both like two people who will be charged.

"Raphelle. Tell me what happened last night in Ayana's room" Antonio said firmly.

Rafael breathed. His premonition says that he will be punished by his parents.

Rafael immediately recounts the incident last night in Ayana's room. He tells how suddenly Ayana's room light goes out and she can't just leave Ayana who is scared.

"Then, what about what your mother saw this morning? You two slept tightly hugging each other. Ah yes, Mama said Ayana was wearing lingerie and she said wet on the bottom. And that's on his neck, why so many red spots?" antonio asked firmly and held back his laughter.

Rania held back all her strength not to laugh when she saw the embarrassed face of Rafael. He turned back to face for a bit of a laugh. After that he turned to Ayana and Rafael.

Same with Ayana. He felt very embarrassed to hear Antonio saying his condition this morning when Rania caught him with Rafael.

All can't be denied anymore. It's free to say that he didn't do anything. Rafael now looks like a thief who has been caught red-handed.

"That's Pa. Just being quiet means that it really is. Then how's Pa?" rania asked her husband.

"You know how else Ma. We must marry them so that nothing untoward happens" Antonio replied firmly while staring at Rafael and Ayana in turn.

"Haw? Any more?" 

Rafael and Ayana simultaneously said it. They were really shocked to hear the punishment from Antonio.

Why is my life like this? Why was I twice punished with the same sentence? Must be married by force. With the same person. Shame on you Ayana, in Ayana's heart cursed her stupidity.

Why is the punishment the same? Is it really our fate if we have to be together and marry in this way? And what about Ruby? Ah right, why I just remembered Ruby. I didn't remember him last night at all. Is it because I'm with Ayana? Rafael said in his heart while glancing at Ayana whose face was blushing with embarrassment.

"We'll prepare everything. You just prepare yourself later," said Rania firmly.

Ayana and Rafael stared at each other. From the eyes of those staring at each other it was as if asking each other,

Is this all true?

"Rafael, from now on you have to leave and go home from campus together with Ayana. You can't leave it alone. And if you need money, borrow it from Ayana. And it cannot be more than a hundred thousand. Understand Rafael? Do not let Mama know if you ask for more money on Ayana by forcing her or threatening her," said Rania firmly as if she did not want to be denied.

Then Rania faced Ayana and said,

"Ayana, you will not give more than a hundred thousand to Raphael. Be firm with him even if he's your husband. Understand Ayana?" 

"I-iya Ma'am," Ayana replied hesitatingly and fearfully towards Rania.

"Yes Ma'am, just for a moment," replied Rania who was astonished by Rania's sudden smile like no problem to her.

"Yes, you guys get ready. Remember Rafa, take care of your daughter-in-law" said Rania, staring at Rafael and Ayana in turn.

Rafael only sighed without being able to protest his mother's orders. He got up from his seat followed by Ayana who was walking behind him.

Ayana said nothing. For a moment he was indeed confused by their circumstances, but the confusion was immediately dismissed by Ayana. In his heart he said,

Getting married in any way would be the same. I've become Rafael's wife. And if I'm going to get remarried to him, it doesn't matter, because he's my husband. If we had experienced twice the events that required us to be married off, would we really be a match?

In their own rooms, they were both thinking about how to tell Rania and Antonio the truth. Both of them did not dare to say it. They were afraid that Rania and Antonio would not believe what they were saying.

Suddenly, Ayana's room door opened. The man entered Ayana's room and said,

"Let's go."

Ayana turned to the door and smiled sweetly to show her two dimples on Rafael.

"Awhile Rafa, I'm confused about what to cover up. Why did Mrs Rania and Mr Antonio exaggerate this? Though it could be that this spot is there because last night I scratched it when itchy. The electricity went out last night, so it could have been because the molars were itchy and I accidentally scratched it to red-red like this," said Ayana while trying to cover the red patches on her neck using powder.

Rafael walked up to Ayana who was standing in front of the mirror. He stood behind Ayana and looked at her through the large mirror before them. 

Raphael's hands were coiled around Ayana's waist and her head was placed on Ayana's neck. He looked straight ahead and looked at their reflection on the large mirror as he said,

"Let them know you're mine."

At once Ayana's heart was beating very fast getting such treatment from Rafael. In his heart he said,

Rafael why the hell, really tumben. He's not the usual Rafael.

However, Ayanas forehead frowned when she heard what Rafael said. Then he said,

"What do you mean Raf? I'm talking about this reddish patch, why are you telling them to know I'm yours? What does this have to do with this?"

Raphael smiled at Ayana's very innocent words. He even felt angry at his wife.

A cuup!

Raphael quickly kissed Ayana on the cheek and said,

"Just finish it so we can get out of here quickly."

Instantly a shaming hue was implied on Ayana's face. This time he felt kissed by a man. Until the heart is racing fast like a roller coaster.

Then Rafael sat on the sofa in the room. Her eyes were fixed on Ayana's laptop lying on her study desk. Then he said,

"Yes, your laptop can be, right?"

Ayana turned towards Rafael and said,

"I haven't tried using Raf yet. That's your laptop right there. I haven't returned it yet. Forgetting. Sorry yeah…."

Rafael smiled at his wife's big smile that was so adorable to him. He stood up and approached his wife while touching her neck to examine her.

"It's not visible anymore. Let's go" said Rafael, holding Ayana's hand.

Shamefully Ayana nodded and grabbed her bag on her desk. The two of them came out of Ayana's room hand in hand to go to college together.
