Turns out My Husband was Awesome
Chapter 5 First day

That morning Ayana deftly helped Bik Darmi in the kitchen. She did exactly as she was told by Rafael, who is now her husband.

Bik Darmi had refused help from Ayana because he could do it himself as usual before Ayana was in the house. Not that Bik Darmi was disturbed, but instead, he felt that Ayana was helping him a lot.

Almost all of Bik Darmi's work was done by Ayana that morning, so Bik Darmi felt bad and sad because it troubled Ayana.

“Already Neng, let Bibik alone do it. Isn't Neng Ayana going to college?” said Bik Darmi while pulling the broom in Ayana's hand.

“Kok Bibik tau?” ayana asked with her innocent face.

Bik Darmi smiled and she looked at Ayana with her gentle gaze. Then he said,

“Young Master Rafael has also started college today.”

Ayanas forehead flinched hearing Bik Darmi who called Rafael as Tuan.

“Young Master Rafael?” chirps Ayana unconsciously.

Instantly Bik Darmi realized that he had been disappointed to call Rafael as a young master. And now he looks frantically looking for a reason to give Ayana.

But a few seconds later Ayana remembered that Rafael said he had been considered like his own son by his own master. Then he smiled sweetly at Bik Darmi and said,

“I haven't logged in today Bik. But I will indeed go to campus today to take care of something.”

“The hope is ready Bik?”

Suddenly, Rafael's voice came down from the stairs and walked towards the dining table while playing his phone.

The eyes of Ayana and Bik Darmi turned to look towards Rafael. It was clearly Rafael who was dressed neatly and looked very handsome to fascinate Ayana's eyes when he saw it.

“Already, Mas,” said Bik Darmi nervously while glancing towards Ayana.

Instantly Rafael scrunched his forehead hearing a call from Bik Darmi that felt strange in his ears. He stopped walking and turned his attention from his phone towards Bik Darmi who was not far from where he was currently standing.

A faint smile was engraved on her lips when she saw Ayana who was standing near Bik Darmi. Now he understands the reason why bik Darmi called him mas.

After that he walked back to the dining table for breakfast as usual. Bik Darmi immediately walked towards the dining table to deliver the vanilla UHT milk that Rafael usually drinks.

Ayana not only remained silent, she also walked following Darmi's bik towards the dining table. Once there, Ayana takes over Rafael's plate and takes the white rice and side dishes. She already knew the portion of her husband's meal after yesterday they ate at a food stall on the side of the road while on the way to her home in the city.

Rafael was shocked to see the form of attention from Ayana as her mother usually did to her papa.

Does she really think of me as her husband? Look at all this, she treated me like a wife who was serving her husband while eating, Rafael said in his heart.

Bik Darmi smiled looking at Ayana who was serving Rafael painstakingly. From there Bik Darmi is sure if there is something between Rafael and Ayana.

Bik Darmi thought that his young master was disguised as a driver to get the heart of a beautiful, smart and innocent village girl like Ayana.

Rafael did not ban him, he was still busy thinking about Ayana's attitude towards him. He felt very guilty for playing with the heart and feelings of a sincere girl to him.

He realized that everything that befell them right now was not all Ayana's fault. He even knew he was guilty. It's just that she doesn't accept if she has to marry Ayana.

She blames Ayana because if there were no Ayana in that place at the time it happened, then they would not need to be forced into marriage by the locals at that very moment.

Bik Darmi follows Ayana who intends to stop her steps. Unfortunately, Bik Darmi's footsteps were not as wide as Ayana's, so she couldn't catch up with him.

While he also could not call Ayana in front of Rafael for fear that his young master would scold him if he found out that Darmi bik much to find out to Ayana.

“Neng, why did Neng Ayana not accompany Mr eh Mas Rafael to eat at the dinner table?” bik Darmi asked softly for fear of being heard by Rafael.

Ayana smiles at Darmi's bik who is already considered like her own mother. She remembers her mother cooking with Darmi's bik.

They are very familiar and sometimes joking, that is what makes Ayana misses her mother so she considers Bik Darmi like her own mother, to treat her longing for her mother.

“Isn't at the dinner table just for our employer eating Bik? It is impolite if we eat at the dinner table when our employer is not at home,” Ayana replied while smiling sweetly at bik Darmi.

Bik Darmi also commented on his smile hearing the words of Ayana. He saw the sincerity and honesty from the eyes and smile of the beautiful girl before him.

“You're so good Neng. You are a complete package. It is beautiful, smart, diligent, can do all the homework and most importantly Neng Ayana is honest and sincere,” said Bik Darmi while rubbing Ayana's shoulders gently.

Turns out behind the wall that separates the dining room from the kitchen, Rafael hears everything. He was going to get the water he had drunk. But, he instead heard Ayana's conversation with Darmi's bik which made him feel more guilty to his wife who came from the village.

Decreased desire to take drinking water. He immediately returned to the dining table and pretended not to hear anything from the kitchen.

“Bik... please get me some water,” exclaimed Rafael in between his feeding chews.

Immediately Bik Darmi took a glass and filled it with cold drinking water favorite Rafael. Ayana sighed at him hearing the cry from her husband who casually told Bik Darmi to serve him to take him a drink.

“Let me just Bik,” said Ayana while reaching for the glass in the hands of bik Darmi.

Now the glass has been taken over by Ayana. He immediately brought the glass to give to Rafael.

“This is the drink,” said Ayana who sounded upset in Rafael's ear.

Raphael turned to Ayana beside him. He was surprised when he saw not the Bik Darmi who brought the drink, but his wife who looked upset to give him a drink. He smiled at his wife as he said,

“Thanks ya Ayana.”

Ayana was surprised to hear her husband calling her name. Ever since they met, he had never called Ayana by her name. Now Ayana twice heard her husband calling her name.

The first was when her husband made their wedding vows and now she calls him back by his name after taking him a drink.

“Rafa, you should be able to take your own drinks. Don't be spoiled for Bik Darmi's service. Poor Bik Darmi who is busy having to stop his work just to get you a drink,” said Ayana with annoyance at her husband who is now staring in wonder at him.
