Chapter 17 The Plan of Rania

After Rafael entered his room, he immediately headed to the bathroom to clean his body. 

In the bathroom, he still crossed while in Ayana's room. 

It was still clear how the two of them hugged each other. Even his heart that was beating with a fastness at that time could still be felt.

Under the water shower, Rafael wants to clear his mind from his memories last night along with Ayana. Until this moment he did not remember the existence of Ruby who became his girlfriend.

“What do you think Rafael?” rafael asked himself as he looked at the reflection of himself in the mirror in the bathroom.

His feet were very light out of the bathroom. Even his smile had always been flaring up since he came out of Ayana's room.

He took his clothes from his closet and immediately put them on. He returned to look at her appearance.

Suddenly he remembered something. Still in a position of looking at the mirror before him, he said,

“Ah is right, I should be able to prevent Ayana from leaving together with Satria.”

With a quick movement he snatched his bag and his cell phone that was on his study table.

He rushes to the dining table to prevent Ayana from leaving with Satria.

"For Ma, Pa," said Rafael cheerfully as he kissed the cheeks of his mother and father.

"Morning."

"Morning."

Antonio and Rania answered along with the greetings that their son had given them.

And Raphael sat before them. As usual, she drank the chocolate UHT milk Ayana had provided at her desk.

Rafael's eyes search for Ayana's whereabouts. Unfortunately, his wife was not seen at all.

Rafael let out a lethargic breath. He thought that Ayana had left with Satria.

"Why Raf, how lethargic is that?" ask Rania to Rafael.

Rafael turned to look at his mother and smiled at her. Then he said,

"There's nothing Ma."

His hunger is gone now. He went back to drinking the UHT milk he had drunk while checking his phone.

His eyes widened when he saw some missed calls from Ruby.

Oh yes, Ruby. Why did I forget about him? He must be angry, Rafael said in his heart.

Suddenly the plate in front of him drifted as Rafael was busy replying to a message from Ruby last night.

Rafael followed the direction of his plate that was drifting. The plate was taken by Ayana. His wife was filling her plate with rice and side dishes.

Without saying a word, Ayana returned Rafael's plate which had been filled with food in front of Raphael.

Of course, it made Rania and Antonio surprised. Even they were both flabbergasted to see Ayana who was so deft to get food for Raphael.

Rania's hand nudged Antonio's hand on the table. They looked at each other as if they were talking to each other through their eyes.

Rafael smiled faintly getting the same treatment as before. Even unconsciously he looked at Ayana from earlier when his wife was taking him food.

"Ehemmm... Ayana there's a lecture today?" rania asked Ayana who was pouring drinks for Rania, Antonio and Rafael.

Ayana turned towards Rania. With that sweet smile, she said,

"Not yet Ma. I haven't started college today."

"Good, come with me later" said Rania, smiling sweetly at Ayana.

"Where are you going Ma?" asked Rafael who looked very curious.

"Cepo. Shut up, it's a woman's business" Rania replied with a chuckle.

At once the look on Rafael's face turned sullen. He is upset not to be told by his mother where to take Ayana away.

"Where are you going? Here eat with us," said Rania when she saw Ayana would walk away from the place.

"Sorry Mom, I just ate in the kitchen with Bik Darmi" Ayana replied with a sweet smile.

After that he walked towards the kitchen for breakfast with Bik Darmi.

Again Raphael saw the sweet smile given by his wife. The two dimples that Ayana had added to the sweet impression when she smiled. And that adds a special impression to Rafael.

Rania and Antonio noticed their unceasing son staring in admiration at Ayana.

Unfortunately, Rafael doesn't seem to notice. He only performs unconsciously when together with Ayana.

When she wakes up, she tells herself that Ruby is in her heart, not Ayana who is already her legal wife.

"The food is good, Ma. How is it different from usual?" antonio asked in between the chewing of his meal.

"Yes, it feels different. Or maybe Bik Darmi is using a new recipe Pa" Rania replied after swallowing her food.

Rafael just silently listened to the conversation of his parents while eating the food on his plate.

When he saw the food, he remembered Ayana who was taking the food.

Unfortunately Ayana's shadow disappears when the notification sound of a message from Rafael's phone shocks her.

He put the spoon and fork on his plate. He immediately retrieved the cellphone on the table next to him.

Now his mind goes back to Ruby. Her boyfriend ordered her to pick her up at his house.

"Ayana, Bik Darmi, come here for a while" exclaimed Rania from where she was.

Ayana and Bik Darmi immediately headed to the dining room to meet Rania who had called her.

"Sorry, what's wrong?" ask Bik Darmi who looks a little scared.

"This food Bibik cook or buy Bik?" rania asked while looking at Bik Darmi who was standing next to Ayana.

Ayana holds Bik Darmi's hand. He looks scared. But, all this time he was always responsible for everything he did. He did not want Bik Darmi to be scolded for his cooking.

Rafael glanced at Ayana with the tail of his eyes. He could not bear to see his wife was frightened.

"I'm the mom who cooked it. Is there something wrong with the cooking?" ask Ayana who looks scared.

"Sorry Madam, I was delivering drinks to Madam. Because long ago, Ayana took over to cook it," said Bik Darmi who intends to defend Ayana.

Rania smiled looking at Ayana and Bik Darmi who were frightened just because of a trivial question from her. Then he said,

"It should taste different to what we normally eat. And this cooking is delicious. It fits perfectly on our tongue. Ayana cooked it. It's perfect to be a ghost if the cuisine is this delicious."

Rafael chokes at his mother's words.

Ayana immediately brought him a glass of water next to Raphael.

Raphael immediately took a glass of water offered by his wife and immediately drank it.

Rania and Antonio held back his smile seeing Rafael's reaction to his mother's speech.

"The original plan was to start Pa" whispered Rania in Antonio's ear.

Antonio just smiled at what his wife whispered. He also approved and supported all of his wife's plans to make Rafael acknowledge Ayana as his wife.
