SEASON TWO ~ I'm Snagging Same You Mas!

The sound of the dawn adhan rumbles throughout the complex. It made me wake up from my good sleep. Waking up from sleep I was surprised to see my body lying in the bedroom. As for my feelings last night I fell asleep on the sofa waiting for Mas Alif's return.

Oh yes Mas Alif?!!!

I turn my head to the side. Sure enough, there was already Mas Alif who fell asleep while facing me. He must have carried me up here. A series of yesterday's events instantly rotated in my brain. I pretended to snack, made a birthday cake, decorated the living room, dressed up, and lastly waited for her to fall asleep in the living room.

Remembering it all makes me very upset. How not? I was tired of preparing all that was awaited not to come. If only he had told me, at least I wouldn't have put too much hope in. I thought yesterday would be a sweet surprise. I thought it would be a romantic day. And all that is only in the mind. Because in reality everything failed completely. The failed surprise.

Look at her!

Still had time to sleep when his wife was tired of making a surprise for him. There was no guilt on his face.

I hurriedly flicked away the blanket that gave me warmth, and walked towards the bathroom for ablution. About five minutes later I was out with a fresher face after being exposed to soothing ablution water. Seeing Mas Alif still sleeping I intend to wake him up. Not with the subtle words I used to do every morning. But in a different way that represents my annoyance.

I went back to the bathroom, took a little water in hand and walked towards her. I sprinkled the cold water on his face to get up. "Wake up!"

It didn't take long. Just a few times the splash of water had already made him instantly wake up. Then he saw where the water came from.

"Darling? Why did you put my face on?" he asked while rubbing his wet face.

"Let's get up" I replied briefly. Without waiting for him I went to a special room for prayer. There was no need to wait for him because surely he went straight to the mosque as usual.

"Darling! I went to the mosque first!" Right you. He told me from the doorway.

"Hmm," I said simply while wearing a mukena.

After praying I go to the kitchen to cook breakfast later. I saw the serving hood at the dinner table I put last night. After I opened it turned out that the yellow rice was over. Then last night Mas Alif ate it. While when I opened the fridge, there was already a tart I made yesterday. Still intact. I left the cake and switched to removing the other ingredients. Let the cake be there, but I didn't make it for me.

Today's menu is stir-fried kale and fried fish. First I cleaned the fish in the sink. "Aw! Shh." Maybe it's because it's still upset, so even cooking is not careful. My finger was hit by the fish's thorns and it was bleeding. Soon I got rid of the fish so as not to be contaminated with my blood. Then put my injured finger under the sink until the blood stopped. After that, I put on plaster.

For a while I was still silent. After I thought my finger was slightly improved, then I prepared the seasoning for the marination of the fish. After that put the fish that I have cleaned earlier in the same container with marination seasoning. I let the seasoning soak in perfectly.

Then switch to making kale stir fry. As usual, the kale that I had cut into small pieces I immediately washed it clean. Then prepare the seasoning to saute it. In between the stir-frying activities, I felt a burly arm encircling my waist.

"Honey. I'm sorry, yeah!" he whispered beside my head.

"Hm. You move aside first. I'm going to cook." I speak in a flat tone.

"Yes. I'd like to step aside but you're sorry I did first! I'll give you an explanation."

"Hm. Go there already!"

"Kok hmm? Dimaafin what's not?" He was overwhelmed by his question.

"Mas! You're not going? I want to cook!" Starting off, my sniffle tone is out.

"Well, let me help you!"

"No need. No need to." I immediately looked up when Mas Alif's arms were not as strong as before. Then put the stir-fry on top of the container.

Mas Alif was still standing next to me. Bodo is very. What matters now is cooking first. My stomach's hungry from last night haven't eaten. I prepared a new skillet to fry the fish. Then heat the oil.

"Mas! Not move?" throw me out while brandishing the spatula to get her away.

Instead of leaving, he took the spatula out of my hand. "Let me cook. You just take a break. You are tired of your face."

OUI. TIRED OUT! TIRED OF HAVING A SURPRISE FOR YOU, BUT THE FAMILY DID NOT COME!!!

I really want to scream that way. But as if it was no longer powerful to let out the anger, I chose to sit in the dining room. Let him handle his fish according to his own request.

Like most adam who lack cooking knowledge, Mas Alif too. Frying fish is like fighting. After putting the fish in the frying pan he immediately ran away to avoid splashing the oil. Yeah, well then the way the fish's got to be charred. Anxious and not wanting my kitchen to fall apart, I stepped back into the kitchen.

"If you can't do that!" I want to snatch that spatula out of Mas Alif's hands. But he lifted the spatula up high. Then I pulled my body into the dining room.

"Udah. Let me just. You just wait here while sitting sweet," she said, sitting my body in the dining room chair.

"That's the fish if not rejected can be scorched Mas!"

"Yes-yes. I-i know. It wants me to get behind the fish." With confidence he came back face to face with the fish that had been swimming in the hot oil. Then he took the lid of the pot to block the splash of oil from hitting his body.

Lazy waiting for him to cook, I chose to go to the living room only. I see it's still like it was last night. Festive with lots of decorations here and there. So I intend to clean it up. The surprise is not so, why is it still here. It makes me even more upset to see this decoration.

It's all in the cardboard, ready to put in the warehouse. Now it's just to take the writings that stick to the wall. I put it up yesterday by getting on a chair. So the same thing I did to dismantle it.

I pulled the writing down violently. Until the paper is out of shape. Crumpled due to my hand. I vented my frustration with this paper. Even going down I wasn't careful. Causing this chair to sway and in an instant my body would fall.

"Let's go!!"

"Darling!"

I closed my eyes. Trying to accept the worst when I open my eyes. Whether it's a sprain, a sprain, a broken bone, or even the worst possible thing about my pregnancy.

"Darling! Wake up! You're okay, aren't you?"

I don't feel any pain in my body. But I kept hearing Mas Alif's voices. When I opened my eyes, I realized. I fell on Mas Alif's body. Not directly on the floor.

I survived.

My fetus.

Thinking about the worst possibility just made me shed tears. Not thinking of my own stupidity. Why can't I think of another life in my stomach?!

"Hiks! Hicks!" My crying is getting worse. Simultaneously Mas Alif instantly pulled my body into his embrace. He held me tight, as if he didn't want to lose me. His hand rubbed my back. It's like telling me everything's okay.

The me who was still in shock could only tighten my arms around Mas Alif's back. Crying all over his chest. Shedding all the claustrophobic and emotion that I could not express with words.

"I'm here."

"Quiet yeah!"

As soon as Mas Alif tried to calm me down. While I was busy banging his chest to vent my frustration.

"I'm so good with you! I'm sebel! Just like you!!!" The impingement between being annoyed with my own careless self and also being annoyed with Mas Alif who disavowed his words yesterday.

"Honey. I was horrified first!"

"No want! You bummer!" I just kept hitting his chest.

"Yes. I'm sorry, yeah!"

"I'm sorry? It's so easy to talk! Hicks! You don't know my struggle? Hicks! I made the cake until it failed many times. Go, hiks! Arrange decorations! Hicks! It's beautiful dance! But you, hyks! But you're not even going home. You're bad you know?!!" It felt good to tell him everything that stuck in my heart from yesterday.

"Yes. Thank you, my dear, my love, my wife. Very much thanks. But you shut up first huh, stop crying so I can clear everything," said Mas Alif asking me to shut up while grabbing my hand to stop beating him.

"Wouldn't stop crying! Still sprain! Hicks!" I hit my chest to stop sobbing.

"Try here. I made you stop crying." Mas alif framed my face with both hands. Then I rubbed my tears gently.

The cup!

He kissed my right eye. "Stop crying!"

The cup!

Then he kissed my left eye. "If the crying stops, it's even more beautiful."

Hitherto.

My crying has just subsided. No more tears. Only leaving a soft stuffing that is still a little tight in the chest. Duh, it's easy to melt the kiss of this one person.

"Yes, it's a story! Why did you come home late yesterday? Even though on the phone already promised to go home at four," I asked like a police officer who started interrogating the suspect.

"Yes. I'm selamin. Yesterday there was a sudden assignment, so I chose overtime instead of being at home. Tomorrow's Saturday, so I want us to spend the weekend together with no thought of work."

A reasonable answer. Makes me nod my head. "But why not tell? I can't call your phone either."

"Oh that. My phone ran out of battery yesterday. And I thought you were asking just making sure it was like a normal day. I didn't know you were preparing a surprise for me."

"Well, knowing his name isn't a surprise!" my mouth is a little tart.

"Yes that means if I remember yesterday was the day of my year, at least I can guess if there was a surprise. But in fact I forgot my own birthday, so it didn't feel like there were any specials yesterday."

"Hm."

"So sorry for disappointing you!" Mas Alif rubbed my cheeks slowly. I immediately melengos to avoid overreaction from my face. Blushing, for example. Kan prestige if still craving but found out can still blush his face.

"You're not sorry about me?" ask again.

"Udah. I also missed the moment. Wanted to keep cramming also no use."

I walked to the dining room. Followed by Mas Alif behind me. Apparently he had finished his job of frying fish. Yes, although some are a little charred, but most are still worth eating. So I served the breakfast menu on the table. Breakfast was solemn, no one made a sound. Until breakfast is over and I have returned the dirty dishes in the sink, I take out the cake I made yesterday from the refrigerator. Then put it on the table.

"At least try my cake" I said.

"Yes. Intentionally yesterday I did not eat, so today can eat with you."

"Hm." As I was about to pick up the cake, Mas Alif stopped me. "Why?"

"You don't want a photo? Usually if you again celebrate a couple's birthday, most people's photos together continue to be uploaded on social media."

"We are not happy. Just eat the regular cake. The special day is over" I said honestly. Still a little annoyed if you bring up this matter.

Mas Alif suddenly held my hand, then looked at me meaningfully. "For me, the days I spent with you were special. No matter it's a birthday or a normal day, as long as you're by my side already makes my days special." From the bead of his eyes I saw a sincerity.

"Ekhm!" Pretend to cough because groggy is used up given romantic words. "Emm, thanks."

"Here's your phone!"

"Make what?"

"Udah. Where's here?" I gave my phone to Mas Alif. Don't know what he's gonna do.

"Here!" Mas Alif pulled my arm until I sat on his shoulder. Then the cake she told him to hold. Then he turned on the camera from my phone.

Ccr!

A romantic portrait between me and Mas Alif in the morning he managed to capture.

"Again!" I refused to be addicted to more photos. It was good to fill my gallery. So it's not just Jimmy's picture on my phone.

We also took a lot of photos. After that I got off her lap and started cutting the cake. And we started enjoying the cake together.

"Well! It's yummy! You're so damn cool to him!" praise Mas Alif while wiping the top of my head.

"Thank you. Though this is the result of browsing on the internet. Because you're allergic to eggs, so I figured out a recipe for a cake without eggs. It doesn't taste good either" I answered and spooned another piece of cake into my mouth.

Mas Alif then grabbed my left hand. Grasping my fingers and rubbing the back of my palm. "Thank you for everything you did for me yesterday. I really appreciate it." I can only return her gratitude with a smile. My annoyance evaporated somewhere.
