Fishing Race

The clock shows at two o'clock in the afternoon. The sunlight was not as hot as it was this afternoon. A pretty relaxing Saturday afternoon I spent lying in my room with a novel of the romance genre. To further support the atmosphere, I borrowed Rendi's mp3 to play melow-themed Korean songs. It's also in the room again deserted. I don't know where the other three residents are, for now I don't care. It's even nice to have nobody bothering you.

Perfect!

Brakk!

"Allohu Akbar!!!" I jumped in shock while stroking my chest in annoyance. Looking at the object that was the source of my frustration.

"What the hell is Tik? Put on everything's slam door? Fortunately, I have no history of heart disease" I said.

"Booooooooooseeennn!" Said dramatizing.

Without guilt he even snacked on my cassava chips which I deliberately opened to accompany the activity of reading novels.

"Pull the grass ahead there let's not be bored!"

"The evil thing! I'm tired if I do that" he who seems to be joining the acute level is now switching with Rendi's mp3.

Replacing my song with as good as his eel, even used as a toy again. Played, turned off, played, turned off, then changed songs. Just keep doing that until it pisses me off myself. I grabbed that mp3 and turned it off. Keep it in my closet so he doesn't play it anymore.

"Aah! I have an idea!" At most take a walk.

"Where are we going around the village? Excuse know! Have we ever been to the village?" Aren't you!

The contents of his brain are very easy to guess.

"No want. Mager again" rejected me without further ado.

"Please! Read the novel later tonight. Yea? Yea?" Start me! Sok melas act that I hate the most. Can't refuse this way.

"Yes yes. Where are you going?" I asked while making the bed.

"To the yuk river! While washing clothes. Every morning we often see mothers who go to the river to wash clothes? Later we ask the place if you don't know" hmmm. My dirty clothes have also piled up like a mountain.

"OK deh. All the others let me race" I said excitedly.

First of all we prepare a bucket for the clothing container. When in the kitchen I saw Salma also Astri who was preparing the ingredients to be cooked later in the afternoon.

"Salma, Astri. You wanna come with us?" My bargain.

"Where?"

"To the Sal river. The streets all wash clothes" said Tika after finding a bucket in the bathroom.

"The power can't be. Want to prepare food for later in the afternoon" hmm.

"If you were As? Come with us, what help Salma cook?" I bid for the second time.

"Help Salma to cook"

"Oohh okay-okay. We go first!" I pampered on both of them.

In the living room there was Rere who was typing something on his laptop. Seeing me and Tika who brought a bucket complete with a pile of clothes apparently invited his curiosity.

"Where are you going?"

"To the river Re, all the streets, all the laundry?" Tika said exactly to the one in the kitchen earlier.

"Follow down!!!. Bosen also linger laptop"

"Yes-yes" I agree. And he rushed straight to his room. Looking for dirty clothes to wash.

The house is now empty. Others are still running their work programs. It might be another hour to go home.

In front of the porch of the man's house it turns out they are gathering. Forming an impromptu band. Rangga with his guitar, then Alif, Abdul, Wahyu, and Bayu as the vocalist. In the middle of their circle there is an orange-colored cat belonging to neighbors who now often play here. The three of us walked up to them. More precisely to Alif, for permission of course.

"Where are you going?" Not yet permission has been asked.

"To the river Lif. The streets all wash clothes" please fix! Tika's been like a broken cassette. From that moment, the answer was mulu.

"Wihh, yell! Come along!" Abdul latah.

"No-no! It's girls time! Guys can't come!" There really is, too, Rere said. Anyway if the rame-rame even rich want bawuran.

"Udah yes Lif, kit first. Bye everybody!" I haven't said a word I can only give up when my hand is pulled by Rere.

After walking fifteen minutes with capital asked residents here and there, we finally arrived at the river where mothers usually wash clothes.

Smiles continue to be etched on my lips. I am amazed at God's beautiful creation. I am grateful for this beauty. The more I know this part of the village, the more love grows and develops in the heart.

Rivers that flow not too fast flow between large rocks. Along the left and right there is a community rice field that is so broad, green stretches. Citizens said, this river is a canal or downstream from the waterfall that we visited yesterday.

"Cold water!" Said Rere with passion. I followed him down slowly.

"It's cold. If it's hot in the hot springs there" Tika if you always want to talk debate yes. Just look at Rere who's been grumbling his lips.

"We're holy here, aren't we?" My toot. Intentionally to quell the war that was about to begin. I pointed at the rocks on the river bank.

"Yes. If it's too tight in the middle of the current. We can then get rid of our clothes"

"Continue meeting with Jaka Tarub" Tika continued Rere's speech.

"Jaka Tarub that's not stealing a shawl, Tik? Not a washed-up outfit"

"Yes in aja Na. If again Indonesian language lessons even sleep yes like this" Rere kanya still grudge same Tika. But the answer makes sense, too.

"Udah-udah! Talk about Jaka Tarub again. Holy-holy!" Said Tika who was getting annoyed.

Still a few minutes we washed the clothes, the sound of commotion was heard from above. Without warning the three of us looked at the source of the sound.

"Loh!" We are surprised to see the boys come here.

"It is said that you can't go along still ngeyel too!" Patience Re, patience!

"Eitts! Relax! We don't want to disturb. Just want to go fishing" said Revelation while showing the fishing rod in his hand.

Yes too. They also hold a fishing rod complete with bait. Where did all that come from?

"Alif coming? Is it completely healed?" Alif came home just yesterday. The present time wants activities.

"It's okay Na. If at home continue even more sick" yes. I believe that.

They walked across the river. Choose the best fishing spot to get a lot of fish. Yeah, I hope. It's good for extra side dishes later.

"If you look at the seger water gini gaya, the inn would like to continue fusing"

"Dead fizzling what's so hard Re?" My toot.

"For the dapet"

"Ooohhh" me and Tika "oh" ria.

Finished doing the laundry, Tika and I were playing with water. Because when we leave, we have prepared a change of clothes. I just splashed in the knee-deep water, and Tika was swimming here.

"So who is insistent on not wanting any boys?" I quipped loudly Rere who ate his shit.

"Hehehe. If it's a different story now" it's up to you Re!

"Sir! Tika!!!" Basic Tika! If you look at the water want to meet his brother. From there, I was swimming. Don't feel cold, is that a child?

"What?" He swam near us.

"To yuk's boys!" Take me.

"Yuk! Disturb the brand of fun as well" hmm. The soul of his evilness churned nih.

"How many tons of fish?" Ledek Rere's. Because in the bucket they only have two fish.

"How many tons of your bald! Necking huh?" Abdul did not accept it.

"Yes yes! Jiahahhahh" we simultaneously laugh at them.

"You guys can't go fishing anyway? There were only two of them" Rere asked once more.

"not yet. Just look at the tv" Bayu honestly.

"Ohh can't yet. But his style is already pretentious and rich professional anglers" said Tika.

"Well, you guys try to catch yourself, can you?" The eittss!

Nantangin nih Abdul's. He doesn't know that Nala is good at fishing. Fishing for emotion. Hehe.

"OKAY. How are we going to fight? Many can fish, and the loser has his punishment. Deal?" My challenge. Armed with the hobby of fishing in the pond, making my confidence multilevel. They are only on tv.

"OK" Abdul shook my hand as a sign of approval.

"Who wants to fight?" Because the fishing gear is only two, so one on one.

"Some dong!" They were compact to propose Rangga who had just been silent. And the Rangga sort of like that they were kadalin.

The match also began. The first five minutes still had no hook struck by the fish. One of the benefits of fishing is this, practicing patience. But not for long, my fishing string twitched. Wuihh, get this fish address.

"Come Na! The spirit!"

"His body is big. Pull on don't love sagging!" My friends cheered passionately for me. It feels like a real match if rich gini.

"Dek Nala is the spirit! Help prayer from behind!"

"Yeeee! Fuck up!" Tika and Rere already represent my feelings by hitting her arm Revelation.

Dih, brother is equally adek he said. Since when am I her brother? The fish, if it could be heard, might throw up the talk of Revelation.

Speaking of fish, fish that are stuck in my hook, the intention is really to run away. It was hard to appear on the surface. But I'm not gonna give it up.

And. strike!!

A medium-sized tilapia I got. A full mocking smile adorned the faces of Rere and Tika. Though who fights me, but whose spirit 45 them huh?

It seems like this match is going fierce. Because a few minutes after I strike, Rangga's bait is also eaten. It looks like it has bigger fish. And replace it too, the boys are not less eager to shout at Rangga.

"Pull on Ga!"

"Gede is the fish. Bigger than his next-door neighbor!" How rich are they fighting?

"Hiu the shark! Uh no! Got the whale!"

"Heh pinter! Same whale shark in the sea kali. Where in the whale river is the same shark!"

"There was. I called earlier"

"Ish Tika, Abdul! Quiet down!" Eh? Suddenly silent atmosphere. I'm the same Alif with gini anyway. It will be ge-er.

See, the others have been on crasak-krusuk that is not clear. I want to be a cie-cie, of course.

"If you keep rame, the fish will be afraid!" I said to keep them quiet not to continue the noise.

"Can! Which filter?! Hurry along!"

With a swift Revelation forward filter the fish so that it can not escape again.

Wehh. The fish Rangga very big yes. Twice as big as mine.

Okay. So now we're in a series. Each has got one. Because this is a multi-fish match, not weight-bearing. So my principle is, nothing gets that little fish that matters a lot. I'm moving my limbs, warming up for the game is hotter of course.

An hour had passed, and the match was over. True to my guess, most of the fish obtained by Rangga are large so that the bucket looks full. While mine is quite small with only half a bucket. But after being counted, mine was sixteen while Rangga had only ten.

"Yey won!" The three of us cheered happily.

"Huu cheated! Obviously Alif's got a full bucket"

"And Nala said that there were a lot of fish Abdul Dudul not who was full" alright! Really good Re.

"Udah-udah! The loser now gets his punishment" I said.

"Yes-yes, what's the punishment" they richly resigned. In my heart I laughed satisfied.

Me, Tika, and Rere curled their backs. Sok-sok an old discussion even though the punishment already knew from earlier.

"Hmm. because the result is a thin difference, and we also do not have the heart to want your laws too heavy. So the penalty is........." I if make people curious jago really huh?

Funny to know look at their curious faces maybe in the hat already tight-fisted first, afraid if we ask for the weird.

"Bawain our laundry...!" We say compact. Their first faces were tense so they turned relaxed.

"What a circuit, if only it was easy. Where here the laundry Deck Nala let Brother bring"

"Yu, by the way, rich is that once again I'm chopping fish, huh?!" Threaten me to Revelation.

Not what, I am very amused when I hear the Revelation talk that way. If someone else hears and misunderstands, I guess I have a relationship with this child.

"Yes" dih. Disgusted deh Yu his face is made so sok nambek!

"Now! Mending bring mine alone" Rere with his own initiative gripped his bucket in the hands of Revelation. Let's know the taste of the child, Rere's laundry is the most of the three of us.

It was evening, and we rushed home. The revelation that brought the laundry Rere, Abdul who brought the laundry Tika, while my laundry was brought by Bayu. And the fish were brought by Rangga and Alif.

"Eh guys! I also got fish!" Tika's words made our steps stop.

Then look back, and find him holding a clear crackle full of water with something in it. We got closer, watching what fish Tika got. Small ones. Maybe a baby fish.

Uh bentar! How are there legs?

Hmm. basic!

"THAT'S TIKA'S TADPOLES!!!"
