It's been half a day that Emily's been searching the city to find a job that suits her. However, nothing has captivated Emily to work there. Hungry, Emily chose a restaurant that served Italian food. The restaurant looks crowded because it coincides with the break hours.
"I'm sorry, miss sorry" said a ministry official to Emily for spilling a drink on her shirt. All the visitors' eyes were on Emily and the waiter who attracted their attention
"You? " Say a man by looking at Emily's face clingy that what she saw was not wrong.
"Lewis? ". Emily pointed her finger at Lewis who was in front of her.
" Come here." Lewis pulls Emily's hand to one of the empty spots.
"Would you like to come here? " Task Emily to Lewis because Emily thinks Lewis is Japanese even though his face doesn't show that.
"I'm a native of London only I have business that requires me to go abroad. "Jawab Lewis and get Emily's eyes glared at him
" Yes, I even work here. " Lewis continued because he saw Emily looking at him in disbelief.
"Do you live here too? " Task Lewis withholding his laughter because he saw Emily who kept trying to clean her dirty clothes due to drinks
"Yes, and now I'm looking for a job. " Answer Emily
"There's actually a job opening to become a designer if you want to" Lewis bargained
"really? " Task Emily enthusiastically because actually he is not looking for a job but rather channeling his talent as a designer or rather sharpening his talent in the field of designers
"Yes, you just come to this address. " Say Lewis by giving the company address
"But.... "
"What do you do come. " Lewis understood Emily's hesitant intention to come because of her disheveled appearance.
"I'll go first. And come. " Lewis leaves Emily still weighing her feelings.
According to the address given by Lewis Emily put herself into a large building that read Laurence group.
"Excuse me, can I help you? " Task the receptionist who sees Emily still confused looking for something
"Alright, please wait in the room there, miss. " Say the receptionist by showing a room not far from there
After Emily sat herself in one of the chairs in the room, Emily heard the door open and the sound of shoes entering the room approached Emily.
"Good day". A male voice greeted Emily
" Light Sir". Emily replies by raising her face to look at the person.
"Lewis? ". Emily said spontaneously to see Lewis smiling at her.
" Lewis Laurence ". Lewis's words by extending his hand made Emily open her mouth in disbelief.
" Emily Nelson" is ". Emily responded by shaking Lewis's hand hesitantly
Lewis Laurence is the owner of a Laurence company that operates in various business fields. Lewis is a staunch competitor to Allen Dawson only he has more out of the country to take care of his business than in his own country . being a competitor to Allen Dawson makes him the number two person in the country. However, Lewis never felt that he was competing with Allen because for Lewis he was better than Allen. Lewis built his company from the ground up while Allen became like this because of his father's legacy.
" It's weird, we've met three times and I just found out your name. " Lewis said, still looking at Emily's face, still in disbelief
"Hello Emily". Lewis waved his hand in front of the dreamy Emily's face
" What's up Lewis? Uh sorry sir. " Lewis laughs at Emily's playful behavior and remembers what happened in Japan at the time.
the flashback
Lewis returns from his job through the cold of Japan. However, Lewis's eyes suddenly fixed on the woman sitting on the bench of his own pensive street making him attracted towards her. A very beautiful woman though looks overwhelmed with sadness that envelops her.
And Lewis was also confused looking for the woman in front of him at this time when he just woke up from his sleep looking for the figure of Emily that he brought to his house that was not there. However, she smiles like crazy when she finds a letter on Emily's bedroom table.
"funny woman's basics". Lewis murmured after reading Emily's letter
Flashback off
"Welcome to Laurence Group". Lewis said by sitting himself down
" So, I'm welcome to work here, sir? " Task Emily enthusiastically to Lewis
"Yes, you are immediately accepted here as the chairman of the designer at this company. "
"thank you sir. " Elmily approached Lewis and immediately hugged Lewis' body very high above him.
"sorry Sir. " Imily was very clumsy about what she had done to Lewis.
"it's normal." Lewis replied
"i also want to apologize for not having time to say goodbye before deciding to leave Japan sir" said Emily
"i hope you now ask permission first before deciding anything. "reply Lewis with a smile that will captivate any woman.
"yes Sir. But, I don't need to ask permission to fall in love right? " reply Emily who also displays a smile makes Lewis very anxious to make.
"for that I will consider. "Lewis' answer made them laugh freely together so that it filled the room they occupied.
