Gerald let out a long breath. He and his group mates must face Nosen, the disciplinary teacher, for the mess they created. The young man was rumored for 8 hours non-stop. Her ears were hot and almost bleeding.
The day has changed night. Inevitably, they had to return to the dormitory to rest. During the trip to the dorm, no one wanted to talk to Gerald. He was left alone behind, while the others walked ahead first.
Gerald scratched his head that was not itchy. He doesn't know what's going on. Whenever he asked his friend, he was always ignored. They always change the topic and don't want to explain it to Gerald.
"Hey, do you want to ignore me? I told you, I don't know anything. The last time I remember was just trying to get away from the members of the osis" Gerald said.
He was tired of having to repeat the same words in front of them and in front of the disciplinary teacher. When he regained consciousness, he was already in the corridor and saw Konny's body lying on the floor covered in blood.
"Then we'll go back to the dorm first, bye."
Gerald frowned confusedly. Kannon, who used to always seek his attention, now shunned him instead. His eyes showed fear. So did everyone else, except Mage and Lacy. The two men instead looked at Gerald with cautious gazes. As if, they saw Gerald as the enemy.
"Am I a criminal here? Oh, come on. I don't remember anything" Gerald defended himself.
"I didn't say anything" Mage said as he left Gerald for the dormitory.
Gerald pensive. He was left alone by his friends. But what can he do? He didn't feel like he had hurt Konnie. But, the one with the magic thread was only himself.
The young man clucked in annoyance at not being able to remember anything. The head feels like it will break if you keep trying to remember it. He walked around the dormitory to refresh his mind. Hopefully, all this will pass quickly.
However, no matter how hard he tried, the thought always crossed. He tried to shift his mind by discussing his favorite food, but returned to the main topic. So it continued until morning, and the young man did not sleep last night.
Gerald's eyes looked lethargic. He wanted to rest on his soft bed, yet he had class this morning. Gerald stepped his limp foot into the classroom.
Midway, he met his friends. With a raucous voice, he greeted them.
"Have you been here all night?" ask Mage.
Gerald nodded his head. He said, "I can't sleep thinking about this. My memory is bad, I'm stressed. But, now it needs sleep."
The young man also muttered, "I'm not wrong, I don't remember anything."
Mage exchanged glances with Emil and Ladon. They feel sorry for their friend. They also had told him to rest in the UKS, but Gerald refused on the grounds of not wanting to skip.
As a result, Gerald attended the class while enduring his drowsiness. He was also scolded several times for falling asleep in class.
"Aarrghh~I'm tired," complained Gerald after finishing morning class.
"I advise you to sleep in the UKS" Mage said.
Gerald shook his head. He thought, if he were to skip out after making a frenzy, his reputation would get worse. He could have been expelled from school, and expelled from the dormitory. He's gonna be a bum and he doesn't want that to happen. Thinking about it, Gerald was already shuddering in horror.
"If there's no wrong class fighting ability."
Gerald looked at Emil who was still reluctant to talk to him. The pink-haired young man was still afraid to look him in the eye. And so did his other classmates. They are afraid to speak in front of them. In fact, when Gerald entered, the classroom atmosphere became silent. No one dared to talk.
Actually Gerald thought it was a good thing because they didn't underestimate him anymore. However, he was uncomfortable with the treatment. He's not a bad guy. He is also not a person who quickly burns emotions. He also did not remember he had already done that to Konny.
Again, Gerald felt awkward. Fortunately, there was still a Mage who behaved similarly to him. Yes, Gerald knew that the young man would not easily be afraid of someone like him who had just found out about magic.
"Ck, hurry up a little! You're blocking my way."
A voice shocked Gerald. They looked at them simultaneously, and found a burly young man staring at them in anger. Gerald brushed his body aside so that the man could pass.
However, the words of the young man next, made him speechless to hold back the anger. He said, "Ck, what are those people afraid of from this weakling."
"Hey, what did you say?" ask Mage.
"What's? Am I wrong? He was just a witch with a weak kind of magic. Konny lost just because he was off guard. But, I'm different from that thin, dry man. My magic is stronger than her."
Gerald looked on dislike of the young man. Again, some underestimate them. He was happy because no one scoffed at them. However, it turns out that there are still people who think like the young man.
"I'm sorry, man, my name is Gerald, nice to meet you."
Gerald extended his hand. However, the hand was pushed aside raw by the burly young man before him.
"Well! I shake the hand of the weak. I, Javandille Cruise, am the successor of the Crandle kingdom in West Mantauna. I don't need a weakling like you."
The burly young man left behind Gerald who was still holding back his anger. He let out a long sigh and said, "I hate him, are we his class?"
"No, but for the class this time we will fight against his class" explained Mage.
Gerald frowned in confusion. Seeing that, the Mage continued, "In this fighting ability class, we will be their class."
Gerald nodded his head, understood. He immediately quickened his pace towards the classroom and thought of a way that he could tightly lock the arrogant mouth of the burly young man.
A slanted smile was painted on his face. He could not hide his feelings that awaited the angry and upset expression of Javandille.
"It looks like he's thinking something crazy, again," Ladon told Mage.
"Yes, he's always been like that."
Mage, Ladon, and Emil follow Gerald from behind. They continue to gossip about Gerald's creepy-looking behavior.
