The sound of slaps rang out very clearly in the dark hallway of the school. Levy's chest went up and down, as it held back his anger. The woman raised her hand again to slap the student before her.

However, he undoed that intention when he saw the student before him close his eyes and turn his head. Like trying to avoid that slap.

Levy lowered her hand. He breathed long. Apparently, she was so angry that she failed to make Lacy fall in the exam. He stared at the student.

"Why are their protectors still standing? Didn't you say you took care of it?" shouted Levy.

The student said nothing. He could only lower his head. In fact, he was convinced that Gerald and Lacy's protectors were broken into pieces yesterday.

"If you work like this, I can't help your grades. Your free magic is strong, if such a weak protector you can't destroy" Levy continued.

The woman's ruffled around the waist. He's really upset. If he could make Lacy fall in the test with her strength as a teacher, he would. However, unfortunately he is still being watched by Arnold and Eden as his superiors.

Levy is upset. He did not like the two men. Their thinking was too inversely proportional to him. He hated people who were too hopeful for someone who could not use magic. Basically, they were just slaves to people who could use magic.

"Quickly destroy that protector. If the protector can't, just attack the one who made it. Anyway, I want Lacy to die in this exam."

Levy pointed to the student, warning of the consequences if he failed again. The student nodded and left Levy alone in the silent passageway. And so did Levy, he left the silent passageway to his office.

Gerald and his group of friends sat around in a circle. They discussed how to destroy the protectors belonging to other groups.

Among other groups, their group is the group that is in the lowest caste. Definitely their group protectors were easy targets for other groups as stepping stones.

"Does anyone have a strategy?" mage began the discussion.

"What if the person who made the core protector hides, while the others protect?" cecilia's advice.

All are silent. No one can guarantee that the idea will work. But besides that, there was nothing they could do.

"Why not go together? Even if they attack, we can still help each other" Mao suggested.

Mage, Emil, and Ladon nodded. Kannon and Cecillia muttered in amazement at Mao's idea. Gerald and Lacy were silent.

I don't know what the two of them were thinking, yet both of them let out long sighs simultaneously. Everyone becomes astonished. There's nothing wrong with Mao's idea, it could even be a good idea. But, why did the two of them even sigh.

"Why are you breathing like that?" ask Kannon.

"Nothing, it's just that I feel sorry for our group."

"It seems that many underestimate us, until such a group comes along," continued Lacy while glancing slightly behind her.

At a glance, they saw some students hiding behind the wall. The swarm of students was like waiting for the right moment to attack Lacy and friends.

Gerald let out a long breath. It was nothing, he was just thinking about the rest of his savings money that had started to thin out. The young man even thought of asking Harmin for more money. However, even though the contents of his head were absurd, his face was very serious. It was as if he was thinking of how to get rid of those students.

"Do you have any ideas for Gerald?" ask Kannon.

The girl looked at Gerald with a hopeful look. His eyes twinkled as if waiting for an impressive answer from the young man. But, Gerald who was basically indifferent to all that, just looked at him with a stupid look, yet still looked handsome.

"Any good idea besides holding on? I can't let them underestimate us any further. After all, it's survival. The only option is to attack or be attacked" Emil said with a fiery gaze.

The young man seemed to be very excited about this exam. His entire body seemed to have been burned by the flames of his spirit. However, the Mage, who was beside him shook his head. He said, "There's no point in us attacking them."

Mage confirmed the position of his glasses as he continued, "They must be just ordinary members. We need to find the person who made their core protector too, if we want this done sooner."

"Right, there was no way the person who made the core protector would attack. It'll just drain her magic energy" Lacy replied.

They fell silent again. They need to find the best solution as soon as possible.

In the silence, Lacy suddenly stood up. The girl left them without saying a word. Seeing that, Mao said, "Maybe he went to pick up his sword."

Shortly after Lacy left, a group of students hiding behind a wall, immediately approached them.

Emil looked at them cynically. With a sneering tone, Emil said, "Wah, wah~ looks like we have a bunch of flies here. Did you find any food here?"

"Ha! Of course, we found a very good meal, thanks to you guys," replied one of them with a circus.

"Wah~you are so confident. Don't you guys suspect the food has poison in it?"

Shortly after Emil said so, the swarm of disciples were entangled by a spider web that suddenly appeared from above them.

Emil let out his disappointed breath. The young man approached them one by one as he looked at the artifacts they were using for him to take. However, nothing he thought was good. Finally, the swarm of disciples hanging upside down was wrapped around with spider webs and made like mummies by Emil.

Casually, Emil turned around and approached his friends. He said in his cheerful tone, "The pest here has been cleared."

"Do you want to just let them go?" Ladon.

Emil glanced at the students. He said, "Why? They were not the core-makers, there was no point in making them faint. Just leave them like that, let them suffer from being out of breath."

Emil put his foot away while laughing with satisfaction. His laughter seemed so evil. They look at each other. Inwardly, they simultaneously said, "He is a psychopath."
