A ray of sunlight broke through the window, illuminating the room where the two men were. Shawn blinked, staring at the red eyeball which was only a few feet away from the netra. Though finally the young man was able to enjoy a quiet sleep after going through the exhausting days, but why was the first thing that greeted him as soon as he opened his eyes was the 'penguin boy' sitting on his body?
"What are you doing?" After Shawn's new 'wake up' brain finished digesting the scene before him, he asked in a husky, stressed voice.
Without a hint of fear or guilt, Rein blinked, then showed a bunch of black strands right into the Prince's face. "Wigs!" answer's short.
Once again, Shawn blinked. It takes time for his brain to digest this half-and-half information. But before Shawn could react, the boy first showed a thin, red lens from a small box nearby, "Lens of contact!" and before Shawn could ask again, the boy's hand went into action.
"Hey!" shawn spontaneously cried out when Rein suddenly held his right eyelid with his thumb and index finger, then brought the red lens closer to his eyeball.
"Don't move! You don't want to be recognized by the color of those eyes, do you?" rein's two words made Shawn freeze, giving him enough time to adjust the position of the thin lens to Shawn's eyeball, rein also managed to attach another thin red lens to Shawn's other eye without a fight.
"Well, now try to sit down, sir" said the boy, smiling with satisfaction, then jumped up and grabbed the black wig.
At this point, Shawn was still trying to be patient, following Rein's words, also letting the boy ruffle his hair - though in the young man's heart he had grumbled many times. Shawn could feel something rubber around his head, and something hairy covered his head. Moments later the boy jumped in front of Shawn, saw his 'work', then burst into laughter.
"What are you actually doing?" Annoyed by Rein's absurd behavior, Shawn immediately got up and walked to the front of the window. Time and time again he steadied heart would not stay still if the child did anything strange to his body. However once the young man's steps actually arrived before the window, staring at the reflection of his shadow self there, all that determination instantly overflowed.
"How's it?" rein said, who had just arrived next to Shawn, staring at the window. "Then we're like real 'brothers', right?"
Now it was no longer the silvery hair and jet blue eyes typical of Jinxed Prince, but the same black hair and red eyes as Rein. If it wasn't for Shawn's extremely pale skin, perhaps the young man's head would have nodded in agreement with his words just now.
A strange twist of feeling tickled Shawn's chest. Just by changing the color of his hair and eyes he immediately got a different treatment? Is possible?
"Where are you going?" shawn asked as the child approached the door from the reflection of the shadow on the window.
"Eat. Don't you know how putting contact lenses and wigs on you is so draining?" rein replied without stopping, ending with the sound of the door closing.
Shawn snorted, The boy really doesn't know manners.
Once again Shawn stared at his reflection in the window, looking out at the black color that is now the 'color of his hair'. "Why should it be black?" grouse Shawn. Of all the hair colors in the world, why should black, the hair color that reminds Shawn of the son of the duke?
Ah, Shawn suddenly remembered the incident in Spleen City, making his blood flow boil. Not only to the son of the duke, but also to the residents there. It was still clear in his memory the sharp whispers they spoke that day.
"May their souls be punished most cruelly by the Almighty" Shawn said with a sharp glare reflected on the window. The next time he looked at his reflection, a question arose in Shawn's mind: where did the boy get these two things? They don't even have any money at all.
The young man then closed his eyes, focusing on something that was flowing within him. "Eloise." One word that escaped Shawn's lips made the three souls bound together over the nitrogium connected.
"I still didn't expect to get a girl's name!"
"Hahaha, what's wrong? That name is perfect for you, Old Tiger! Oh, or should I give you the name 'Old Tiger', huh...?"
"Grrr.., don't try!"
Not yet had time to ask or start the conversation, Shawn's head had already felt dizzy because of two voices that continued to fight in his head.
"Ah yes, son, why did you suddenly call?"
It was fortunate that the white tiger immediately realized, otherwise it was somehow as high as the burning fire behind Shawn's back.
"Have it, not important," said the young man then closed the 'connection'. At first Shawn intended to ask where Rein got these two things, but his mood was already bad because of the commotion just now and now his stomach was hungry.

"Work", a familiar word in Shawn's ear since childhood. Neither Eloise nor the workers at the Plutonium residence used to say so. They work for the family, for the sake of themselves, for the sake of ideals from childhood, for the comfort of old age, or for the respect of their employers. But the most understandable reason Shawn was only the reason he had heard from Eloise, which was "money".
Money is the most important component in life. Without money, nothing can be done. But Eloise also said that although valuable, it does not mean having to do bad things for money. Shawn sighed, taking his eyes off a pile of gold coins lying at one of the inn's dining tables.
"Master!" Spontaneous Shawn turned. He could see a tiny hand waving towards him from a distance, none other than a boy still in striped pajamas. How much food he ate seemed to come from the plates that filled the table where he was, and how full his mouth was when he spoke. Those two things were enough to make Shawn's forehead wrinkle.
The problem is that they have absolutely no money. Moreover, they were no longer in the forest, what would he have to do to make up for that much food?
"What are you eating?" shawn asked annoyed as soon as he arrived.
Regardless of the aggravation on Shawn's face, the boy hastily chewed the food that had already entered his mouth, then swallowed it as quickly as possible. "Baked bread! Try sir, this is really delicious!" rein replied while thrusting the triangular-shaped folded bread. From the sidelines looks like chocolate jam lining.
Rein is back with the other foods at the table. Baked bread, beef eye eggs, fruit salad. Moments later the boy realized Shawn had not budged, turning to the stunned prince. "Master?"
Shawn flinched, but the focus was still on the plate of toast Rein had been thrusting. "How are you gonna pay for all this? Do you have any money?" shawn asked in frustration, then sat down in an empty chair near the boy.
"No," Rein replied without the slightest hesitation, even taking one more bite before continuing with a mouthful, "don't worry, sir. Miss Beautiful says our food is free, as long as we keep paying for the lodging."
Shawn's eyebrows shot up, "Beautiful Lady" Rein meant must have been the receptionist lady last night. But why would the woman be willing to give herself and this child free food?
"Rein had told me everything," long life, suddenly the woman being talked about came while carrying another plate containing 3 slices of toast with chocolate jam, putting it on their table. "You have experienced a hard time, so rest while you stay here." The woman patted Shawn on the shoulder several times, the green bead behind the square glasses as if trying to channel the spirit on Shawn— without knowing who exactly the young man on his face.
"You guys are strong. You guys can get through it. The Almighty always accompanies the afflicted," said the woman last with a gentle smile, then left the two with an abundant table of food.
Shawn blinked, trying to digest the woman's words just now. Then he understood, surely the child did not know the manners had made up 'false stories' in order to draw sympathy from him. "'What story' did you tell him?" shawn asked as he looked at Rein sharply.
Rein who was stared at thus reflexively choked, banging on the chest, then looked at Shawn lazily and sighed. "Nothing special. I'm just saying that we're brothers and last night our parents died from being eaten by a tiger that entered the city" the boy replied without any agitation, "eat it, eat it, wouldn't it be nice to find Mr contact lenses and wigs in the same color as mine? We're like real sisters, aren't we? Ah, that beautiful Miss also helped me get it. I said 'my brother's head was badly injured for trying to save me from a tiger last night'" Rein said with a big smile.
Shawn was stunned, he also could not be angry because in fact what this child was doing was in their favor.
'Sister'? the corner of Shawn's lips moved. Apparently there are also those who want to claim to be my sister, Shawn's mind, unconsciously at the same time the corner of his lips slightly shook. From the moment he first met the boy, Shawn kept feeling alien.
Finally, again the young man could only sigh, along with enjoying the food presented at the table. "Eat as much as you eat, then prepare your energy for work."
"Huh?" The returning hand about to put a piece of melon into the mouth came to a halt, staring at the 'black-haired and red-eyed' youth in disbelief. "But I've been trying hard to find wigs and contact lenses for you...."
"That has nothing to do," Shawn said uncaringly, again biting the toast in hand. "I never asked you to do it anyway and honestly it's not necessary either."
"Well, if you still want to come with me, then you have to help me make money. Understood?"
Rein looked at Shawn with a bead that was about to cry, but the young man did not seem to care in the least. Told a 7-year-old to work, I don't know what was on Shawn's mind at the time.
But the boy who followed Shawn was indeed a little 'unique'. Secretly, he had already found Shawn a job that the young man could not avoid, and perhaps the young man would not have had the time to take care of him in the near future.
Well, if I work, of course he also has to work, right? inner Rein while again devouring his breakfast.
