Uranium: The Jinxed Prince

Uranium: The Jinxed Prince
The Jinxed Prince 3's

From outside the large square window of a magnificent residence, there appeared a young man struggling with piles of documents before him. Sunlight broke through the window, falling on the ends of his short blond hair, making the appearance of the Young Marquess Plutonium even more charming.

Suddenly Isaac's hand stopped. He sighed taking off the sudden wrath of ambushing his head, then leaning his back backwards. “Is it really okay?” grumbled the young marquess while frowning.

The face of a long purple-haired girl flashed again, making the young man's head even more painful. Sending his younger sister to carry out the mission the royal family gave him was no big deal, even he was proud that the younger brother had the honor. But not if it means his sister has to go there, to a place that people have dubbed as “cursed” since ‘dia’ lives there. Although not because of that, Isaac had his own reasons why he was so opposed to the assignment of the younger brother.

“Hutan Roldwix...” Isaac muttered when he remembered ‘dia’, the fourth prince and a child who had lived with him for 5 years ago. The blonde-haired young man turned his gaze out the window, deciding to pamper his eyes by staring at the clear blue sky above, "About how's it going now, huh?"

Honestly speaking, Isaac did not hate the Fourth Prince. In Isaac's memory, Shawn was a pity but at the same time worthy of admiration. The boy was able to stand firmly in the middle of the cynical look and speech that led to him—things that Isaac could not even do. Although the last time saw him the age of the child had not even stepped 10 years, but never once did Isaac see him cry, at least after the incident ‘itu’.

The sound of wooden swords clashing together controlled the military training field of the royal palace. The two sword holders were eyeing each other's weak points, and for the umpteenth time managed to dodge the attacks. Both of them are only 9 years old, but it seems clear the sword talent in them.

Tak.

Suddenly one of them managed to make his opponent's sword float in the air, making the perpetrator aka the red-haired child excited. "I think I won this time!" archie exclaimed as he swung the weapon in his hand towards the bottom of the opponent's chin. But instead of being afraid, the corner of the child's lips are lifted, making him jerk.

Hup! The beautiful blond strand of hair was blushed as the boy jumped up and grabbed back his sword which was still floating in the air, it then landed right behind the opponent while wrapping the sword-wielding arm under the boy's chin.

The silence approached for a moment. Despite not looking, the red-haired boy could feel how piercing the gaze casted by the pair of green beads that belonged to the child behind him. Like a viper, though small, but deadly.

"I give up," resigned Archie finally—but the fist that was secretly formed did not show so.

The right corner of Isaac's lips lifted up, then lowered his sword and lowered his head. "It is an honor to defeat you, Your Highness the First Prince," he said with a very wide smile.

Spontaneous cynical laughter escaped Archie's lips, then turned towards the boy behind him. "For this time you can be proud, son of the Marquess Plutonium. But victory will not always be on the side of the same person. Come again to the palace tomorrow, this is an order."

"This son of the Marquess Plutonium received the orders of His Highness the First Prince," Isaac placed his hand in front of his chest and lowered his head. The hot wind blew softly, playing the strands of hair of the two boys. Isaac's green beads looked up in gaze with Archie's chocolate beads, making their laughter unstoppable again.

Apart from the 'commandment', Isaac's words were sincere because compared to the princes and sons of other nobles, Archie was the only one he regarded as a friend and a successful fighting opponent who awakened the soul of the 'snake viper' within him. How else, only the first prince managed to meet his standards.

In Isaac's eyes, no other noble's son could defeat the First Prince, both in terms of appearance, intelligence, even fighting skills to calmness and shrewdness in speech. In short, Archie was the most perfect friend he could have.

Although the First Prince's perfection was like a dazzling sun, his brothers were not.

To Isaac, the Second Prince was annoying and careless.

The Third Prince sucks with his ever-talking nature without knowing the place.

The Fifth and Sixth Princes considered him a prince with less intellectual level in various fields.

The Seventh Prince is too spoiled and childish to be born as "seventh"—, where in Lionheart belief the number "7" symbolizes good luck and the seventh prince means safety and prosperity for this kingdom.

The sons of other nobles are also no less boring, including the sons of duke— who should also be Isaac's sidekick as the heir to the marquess family.

Before Archie could reply to Isaac's words, suddenly a male servant came and saluted the two noble sons. "Greet His Highness the First Prince and the Son of the Marquess Plutonium" he said as he laid down before his chest and lowered his head. "Hamba wanted to let you know that Mr. Count Oldenburgh is waiting for His Highness the First Prince in the library."

Unlike the other children who frowned when told of their teacher's arrival, Archie's face instantly cracked as if receiving the most extraordinary blessing in the world. The two corners of the child's lips shot up towards the servant, then he looked at Isaac with a brown bead filled with a burning spirit. "Sorry Isaac, but I have to start my Economics lessons soon. I'll have people take you to the front."

The blond boy laughed and shook his head. "No need, Your Honor. If I want to take a walk before I go home. You quickly go and start your lesson."

Archie nodded. "Then enjoy your time."

"Your Majesty too."

The sudden rush of lightning that struck made Isaac reflex look up. Dark clouds were moving to cover the sky. "It looks like it'll be raining soon" murmured Isaac. But, who cares? "As long as there's no Mom won't be a problem." The smile on the child's lips was so even. Without thinking the long, dark-colored leather-shoe-covered foot ran wherever the path before him led.

The sky was getting darker and the streaks of lightning were getting heard more and more often. But it does not necessarily make the spirit of Isaac faded, just run the child faster like a bird that is free from the cage. Actually, the feeling is not wrong either. Isaac Plutonium is the marquess' only son. He is expected to be the perfect heir without a flawed loophole, the future leader of the March Plutonium whose people must be reliable. Plus it's been centuries the Marquess Plutonium family became the 'shield' of Uranium.

Isaac enjoyed it. He enjoys his status and position that is above others, can rule and do as he pleases— as long as he does not break the rules— as well as the respect he got since he was a child. It's just that big he has to keep his attitude. It should not appear embarrassing or like children in general.

It has to be different. "A Plutonium must appear authoritative no matter what his age," so often

Marquess Plutonium tells her young son. No matter at home or outside, Isaac was always required to be able to maintain his attitude.

But a child is still a child. Whenever he feels no one is looking at— like now— that's when his childish attitude comes out.

"Ouch!" Too much fun running made Isaac not look ahead and hit someone. Before the word "sorry" could slide from her lips, the woman she hit first stumbled and her head pierced through the tree branch behind her.

Srak.

Instantly Isaac's body was made to tremble violently by the smell of carnation that pierced the smell. His eyes opened wide, staring at the endless red liquid flowing from the woman's head, rushing like a river, wetting clothes, and poking in the grass.

What...he became a murderer? Did he kill that woman?

Isaac's voice choked—even to just ask if the woman was okay even he could not.

"Eloise!"

Isaac looked quickly. His heartbeat instantly felt louder than the sound that had been heard just now. How'this?

When the voice that kept calling out "Eloise" approached, Isaac reflexively hid behind another tree trunk nearby. The boy tried hard to temper his wild dancing heartbeat. He tried hard to calm his hunting breath. He tried to ignore the cold on his skin.

"Lied...." Lightning returned, as if to make Isaac realize that he had just made a terrible mistake.

The guilt in Isaac's chest grew when he heard the soft voice of a boy back there. I don't know, he never felt like he had heard this voice. Is he the son of that servant?

Once again Isaac exhaled a long breath and clutched his chest. With all the courage gathered, he peered to see who was coming. A little boy, with silvery hair like moonlight and blue beads like the night sky in winter. His skin was very pale, like snow that would melt if he was in the sun for a while.

Although he had never seen it, it didn't take long for Isaac to guess who he was by the color of his hair and eyes: The Fourth Prince, the Jinxed Prince who lived in the Black Palace from birth.

But what made Isaac's eyes widen was what followed, as white streaks of light that had come out of nowhere gathered in the little prince's grasp, and keep growing as if preparing to blow up something terrible.

That... magic? The Fourth Prince can use magic? How come?

No. gabe. Now that's not what matters. If the Fourth Prince's 'hidden' ability is discovered, then it is certain that King Harvey I will get the right reasons to impose the death penalty on him. Moreover, with his nickname and the origin of his birth, the King will surely be happy to impose the punishment.

Isaac clucked, various complicated thoughts filling his tiny head. He really did not want to get involved with a prince of bad reputation and an unlucky bearer like him. He could already imagine how his father, his mother, even the people around him were talking while glancing at him.

Nah! Isaac Plutonium cannot be insulted like that!

However, when remembering there was one life lost because of his actions, the conscience of the 9-year-old was powerless not to turn his back. But if you want, that second Isaac can run as fast as possible back to the First Prince's palace, pretend nothing happened, then go home. Even if there was a problem due to that magic explosion, no one would dare to point the finger at the Marquess Plutonium's son as well as the First Prince's guest.

But not. Uncommanded, Isaac's body first moved along with the rain that fluttered. He encourages Shawn, preventing his magic from exploding and being witnessed by everyone in the palace.

He redeemed the one life he had lost for his actions with the other life he had saved.
