Chapter 38 - Ryu Vs Shinkawa 1

Ryu looked around the place, staring at one by one the crowd cheering for the match.

“The first match will start soon. Please Participant Ryu and Participant Shinkawa, immediately enter Ring Arena match.”

Ryu stabilized his breathing, he started to disappear from the place of the participants and appeared above the match Arena.

Ryu looked towards the front, where a man with a fierce and sturdy look was seen. The man was wearing white martial clothing with a black belt with an elongated Dragon emblem filling the belt.

Ryu himself felt pressure from the opponent, he could understand that his enemy this time, was slightly above him. However, it was in terms of strength not skill.

According to Ryu himself, the skills of the person in front of him were even more terrifying. After all, people who possessed Martial Arts would not attack recklessly.

Ryu began to be alert and serious, he walked over and arrived in front of the man. The two looked at each other sharply.

The robot, in the middle of them, started talking again. “Both participants have boarded the Ring Arena, a countdown before the game starts..”.

“5..” Ryu and Shinkawa retreated, both of them silent and not talking to each other.

“4...” both stop and look at each other.

“3..” Shinkawa lowered her head with her hands clenched together, the act was a greeting from a person who was immersed in Martial Arts.

The robot's right hand went straight up, then the robot's hand went down vertically and said aloud.

“Start!”

The robot disappeared from the spot. Ryu and Shinkawa did not launch their respective attacks, both of them observing each other.

Ryu stared and widened his eyes slightly when he saw an extremely quick punch heading towards his chest.

Ryu sharpened, he brushed off the punch with his right hand, then he felt a kick back aimed at his head.

Ryu retorted, he swung his right leg rapidly towards the head from Shinkawa. The two legs clashed against each other.

Bugh...

Ryu and Shinkawa's leg strength is in a draw, both of them don't just stop. Shinkawa continues to use her legs, as does Ryu.

Bugh... Bugh... Bugh... Bugh...

The two continued to fight each other's foot attacks. Until, finally Shinkawa used his left leg to attack downwards.

Ryu bends his right leg, Shinkawa's left leg meets Ryu's right leg.

Bugh...

Shinkawa jumped up and did a hovering kick. The kick pointed right towards the middle of Ryu's chest.

Seeing the attack, Ryu fused his two hands together and resisted the drifting kick attack.

Ryu pushed back, he felt his hand go numb now. However, before Ryu could ease the pain in his hands.

A foot attack strikes the stomach of the Ryu. Ryu could not respond and was hit by the kick.

“Ughh..” Ryu pushed to the side, he then did a Backflip and landed a bit away from Shinkawa.

“M Surrender, Son... You can't beat me!” Shinkawa insists, he tells Ryu to surrender, as he does not want his opponent this time to accept the consequences of fighting him.

Ryu looked towards Shinkawa, not caring much about Shinkawa's words. His gaze became fierce, he looked on indifferently.

“Redy? Sorry, I won't give up on someone like you.” Ryu not only said normally, he also provoked the Shinkawa.

However, Shinkawa was not particularly affected. The mentality of a Martial Artist, will not be angry just because of a provocation, or insults, and others.

They will be angry when someone they care about is insulted, attacked, killed... That's when they were angry.

Angry they were not attacking brutally and recklessly, their anger was more aimed into strength. Their own minds remain cold and awake.

Ryu revealed his smile, this is a real Martial Artist. He was really lucky, fighting with a real Artist.

Ryu raised his hand, he did the Horses differently than before. Shinkawa somehow felt the horses were putting a little pressure on her.

The horses Ryu was wearing were, Martial Horses from the Military. He gained the knowledge of the War King, so he was able to bring out the Martial.

Jack and Emma were a little surprised, they knew the horses Ryu was wearing. However, Ryu's horses were stronger than what they knew.

Shinkawa looked towards Ryu, she adjusted her breathing for a bit. Then, an oppressive look flashed across his eyes.

Shinkawa took out her typical Martial Horses, the horses were similar to the horses Ryu had displayed earlier.

The aura Shinkawa released was broad, full of decisiveness and emphasis that exceeded that of Ryu himself.

Ryu did not falter, although Shinkawa's strength was greater than his, he remained firm. However, traces of sweat appeared on the temples of his head.

Shinkawa was a little surprised to see the pressure half of hers could be held back by Ryu, she really did not expect to find someone who had a strong determination.

‘This child will be the one who affects the World.’ Shinkawa said in her heart with a thin smile etched briefly on her face.

Ryu could see that smile. But he doesn't care now. The focus now, is to apply the War King Science which is still a beginner stage.

The monitor room, Rock and Emma are shocked when they see Aura from Shinkawa. Both of them did not expect that.

“Level 3 medium, this guy... Similar like that cloaked man.”

“Ryu can withstand the aura, he is really interesting.”

Rock himself frowned, when he heard Emma's words. He felt that there was something strange about Shinkawa's Aura.

“It looks like the guy is withholding his power... If, my judgment is correct... A man named Shinkawa is equal in strength to me.”

Emma was surprised, her own husband's strength was at the final Level 3. That, surprised himself.

“If, so then..” Emma looked towards Ryu. Rock continued what Emma wanted to say.

“That's right, Ryu will definitely lose against him.”
