Chapter 57 Bathtub

Dinner is over, Amanda and Lucas and the other two wives have returned to the palace. However, the old man was only just delivering home because there were no less important things to handle at the main headquarters.

While Bellen and Lavina, both of them just went up the escalator to the room on the third floor. For both wanted to immediately throw their tired bodies on the bed.

Not with Amanda. The girl still wanted to seek the fresh breeze. Therefore, he decided to take a walk around the palace first. Especially tonight there are so many fireflies flying. Flickering illuminates the surrounding area that looks dim.

A smile was engraved on every corner of Amanda's lips. He ran after the firefly, which kept flying away and carried it to a part of the palace he had never been seen before.

"Here is creepy, I better get back to the front" muttered Amanda bergidig in fear. However, it also took one step. The girl with blue hair heard the sound of crying coming from a building that looked like an unused warehouse, visible from the door and a pile of wood on the front.

Amanda shook her hands while shaking her head, trying to think positively of the strange sounds her sense of hearing caught. "Maybe I heard wrong. At best there is also the sound of the frictional leaves."

Amanda continued the pace of the steps that had been delayed. However, the voice of the mysterious cry was again clearly heard in his ears.

Amanda's eyes are breaking, she walks backwards while frowning to find someone around her. All he found was darkness.

"Who's there?" Amanda ventured to ask and approached the old warehouse.

The sound of crying grew louder, the curiosity grew in Amanda. "Who's there? Is there anyone in this old barn?"

Amanda dyed at the door of the warehouse and found a small gap, where a bias of light reflected from inside there. "The light is on, but seeing this unkempt condition. Looks like this warehouse was indeed left alone for a long time."

Amanda's body bent down, preparing to peek and check what was in the room. However, the girl gasped because someone patted her shoulder suddenly.

Amanda turned around and almost screamed in shock. Lucky the guy who patted her on the shoulder first smothered Amanda's mouth.

"Don't be noisy, ma'am. It's me, Lady." whispered the palace maid.

"Ah... Lady, you surprise me, "Amanda's protest rubbed her chest that was beating so fast.

"Why did Madam get to this place?" ask Lady nervously.

"Why Lady? What is this place?" keep Amanda curious.

"I-this is just a barn, ma'am. Not a place of anything. And it's been unused for a long time" Lady told her employer. However, impressed to keep a secret.

"Oh..." Amanda was bearded and kept staring at the old barn. "But why are the lights on? You say, this warehouse is unused?" press Amanda really made curious.

"That's okay.Let's not a lot of rats, ma'am. Here the rat is big" replied the Lady with a look of disgust. "Let's go madam, we're back to the palace! It's not good to linger in this dark place, lots of mosquitoes." Lady gently pulled Amanda's hand away from the mysterious dark warehouse.

Upon Amanda's return from the barn, she immediately soaked her body with fragrances inside the bathtub to restore freshness. He closed his eyes with his head looking up, enjoying the warmth of the water touching the skin.

However, the heartbreaking crying sound felt jutting in the ears. Eyelids suddenly opened, Amanda sat tensely.

"So very clearly, I heard the sound of people crying. Not the sound of wind or the friction of the leaves" Amanda murmured. "And I'm very sure, that was really the sound of a woman sobbing .. which sounds more like whimpering!" Amanda spoke to herself, wondering about the strange voice that was caught by her two ears earlier.

"What's in there, is someone hiding?" gerundel Amanda kept remembering that heart-wrenching voice earlier. "But... If there's anyone hiding, where could he not be known by Lucas or his men?" Amanda asked herself nonstop.

"Ah. I have to find out. There are too many secrets about that man!" amanda said she was reminded of two men who told her about the dirty business that Lucas ran for a long time.

"Look at it, Lucas. I'll find out about you. About who you really are! You're not just a leech, you're so much more than that." Amanda closed her eyes and felt the smell of roses flowing through her body. For a moment, he wanted to forget about his curiosity by enjoying the fragrance that calmed the contents of the mind.

Fifteen minutes passed, Amanda left the bathtub and continued to wear a bathrobe (bathing coat) without wearing anything else in it.

When he came out of the bathroom, so surprised Amanda because the husband was waiting for him on the bed without even wearing a thread.

"You-you? You were here? Sh-didn't you just say you were going to the office?"
