Widow of Flower & Bad Guy

Widow of Flower & Bad Guy
Chapter 74 Longing

After a long journey of seventeen hours. Finally, the dark brown and dimpled young man had reached a familiar place in his mind. A place where a lot of sweet memories are created between him and his beloved.

The longing slowly creeps into the soul. The pieces of the past are like a puzzle that was originally scattered and is now fully rearranged.

"I miss you, Amanda.." sighed Matthew, stopping his car and staring in the direction where he expressed feelings for the girl several years ago. "Too many sweet stories about the two of us. How could I forget you so easily?"

Matthew sighed then took a picture using his cell phone. He sent the photo to Amanda, without words. Because the picture he sent, it was enough to say everything.

"Sorry Amanda. I can't throw you out of my mind. You're half my life." sighed Matthew, then turned off and put his phone back on the dashboard. He did not want to waste time waiting for a reply from his ex-lover.

"I have to continue the journey, just a few more minutes I'll be there." Matthew restarted his car and drove off at a moderate pace. Because the building he wanted to go to at this time, was already plastered in plain sight.

Slowly, Matthew began to enter the parking lot of the Hospital. Many times he exhaled, easing the anxiety that swooped into the heart. Because until this moment, he still can not fully believe in the fact, that the woman he missed for many years was still alive today.

"Oh my God.. Is she really my mommy? You're not playing with my feelings anymore, are you, God?" with a stifled voice in the throat.

Matthew reassured himself, then got out of the car with a heart beat. Step by step, he walked through the building dominated by white paint while bowing his head. Because he realized that he would have pairs of eyes that highlighted himself with thousands of questions.

All of that is natural considering how close Matthew's relationship with Amanda has been. Where the fabric of their love, has become an open secret among the workers of the Hospital.

Slow footsteps led him to the second floor. And now, the young man had been in the corridors of the desolate treatment room of people passing by. He approached the information section, then asked the room where his mother was getting treatment.

A nurse pointed to the room next to the place of worship. Matthew nodded and with a half run, he approached the room shown to him.

The dimpled young man stood in front of the room while staring at the mother from the glass on the door. The whole body is shaking, anxiety is self-controlled.

"I'm coming, Mom..." Matthew opened the door, bit by bit. The old woman who was sitting down daydreaming on the bed, suddenly looked at her with happy eyes.

Both are equally stifled. However, staring at each other full of longs. Although a thousand questions in the chest haunt the mind, but the strong bond between a child and a mother, will never be defeated.

Matthew walked over, his lips quivering with a stretch of haru flavor that condensed in the eye patch. Happiness can no longer be contained, spilling over in the warm embrace of a mother.

"I'm Matthew, Mom, your son," his sobbing held tightly to the frail body of the mother. "I miss you, Mom. Very.... Where's Mom been all this time? Why won't you come see me? Is Mommy mad because I'm a bad boy, right?" her cries grew louder, remembering the life that was full of pain due to losing a mother figure since the age of five years.

Allison gently pushed her son's body and then summarized the face she craved. He fumbled at the child's face, which he could only look at from the phone screen, then smiled wistfully. "Is this really you, son? My son? My life's lamp? My flesh-blood? My whole life?"

Allison pulled Matthew into her arms and then leaned the young man with a kiss she had not given for a long time.

Both of them roared, pouring out everything in their hearts. It is not easy to endure twenty years of suffering. When happiness approaches, millions of tears will not be able to break.

"Where's Mom been this whole time? Why did Dad tell me Mom was dead? Don't you know that my life is lonely?" Like a child, Matthew sulked at his mother, sobbing. "Did Mom hate me? Is it because I'm an unruly child? Until Mom left me?"

Allison shook her head at her son's questions. "No son, no. Mom really missed you all this time. Moms... Mom. for twenty years held captive and shackled by your daddy in an unused warehouse."

"In-captured? Fanned by daddy?" shrieked Matthew, his body squeezing instantly. The tears suddenly dried up. "Why is daddy so bad to us, Mom? Why??!" matthew shouted, with flames of fury burning in his chest.

"Patience, Son. Hold your emotions, however he is, Lucas is still your daddy. The man you should respect because his blood is flowing in your blood" Allison said, rubbing the child's back.

"What kind of father always takes happiness out of the hands of his own son, Mom? He's taken Mom, then he's taken my lover, too." whine Matthew. His body withered, he lay his head on the lap of the mother while sobbing.

"Oh my God, forgive Mom who can't stand up and take care of you, son." Allison said caressing her son's head. "Mom was sad, with the incident you experienced. But Mom's sure, one day your daddy's gonna change. He'll be conscious...."

Matthew screeched, "There's nothing to expect from the bastard, Mom. His heart was frozen, dead. No more conscience...."

Allison sighed, "Mom doesn't want to talk about the man anymore. Mom just wants to share the yearning with you, son...."

Matthew nodded thinly and looked at his mother's face. "I'm sorry for raising old wounds in Mom's heart...."

"It's okay, son.." Allison answered briefly, wiping the tops of her son's heads.

Matthew immediately got up from his position and sat down in front of his mother. Because he thought back to Allison's meeting with her lover. "Oh, Mom, how did you meet Amanda? Isn't Mom held captive in the barn, which I just don't know which barn is?!"

Before answering, Allison asked her son about Amanda. "What lover you mean is... Amanda?"

Matthew nodded lethargicly then lowered his head. "Yes, Mom. Amanda was my boyfriend, before daddy took her. In fact, I wanted to propose to him at that time...."

Allison could feel the sadness as well as the bitterness, from the look and speech of her son. He was very sorry for not being able to accompany the baby, when he needed his support.
