"Let's pick up my phone...!!" angered Samuel tried to contact one of his men for umpteenth time. However, there is still no lawfulness. "Oh my God.. Did they fail to save Ivana?" Samuel paced back and forth, twisting the base of his nose. He was so upset because time was getting narrowed.
It was heard from inside the courtroom, the voice of the clerk calling the witness. The man with the chocolate chest sighed and moved back to where he was.
"Have I lost?" Samuel walked away, looking up at the nanar around the room. His breathing felt increasingly heavy, although not as heavy as the reality that will be faced before his eyes.
"How's the public prosecutor?" ask the judge one last time, before today's hearing is officially closed.
The public prosecutor turned to Samuel and again the head bobble he got. "Sorry Your Majesty, our witness has not arrived yet."
The judge glanced at the wall clock and the time had already shown eleven o'clock in the afternoon. The trial, which should have finished at ten, must start from a predetermined time.
"Look at Your Majesty! They were all liars, conspiring to trap me!" accuse Lucas, pointing to Samuel and Amanda. "And need Your Majesty to know, these two people are lovers. They were deliberately looking for a way to get me to jail, so they could freely get into a relationship. But unfortunately they forget that God is not sleeping. God will be with good people" Lucas said, like a victim.
"Close that muzzle, Lucas...!" samuel's beaver, get ready to give the old man a lesson. However, both of his arms were blocked by two security officers.
"Pacify yourself, Captain.." ask the two policemen.
"Your Majesty, the files I have submitted. Is it still less powerful to be used as evidence?" press Samuel to the presiding judge. "Didn't that represent enough of the defendant's crimes?" he walked towards the judge's table.
Lucas chuckled, laughing at Samuel's helplessness against his power. "Be it Captain, just give up. Evil will never win against good! No matter how great you design all of this, you will still lose. And save your good dreams to snatch my wife!"
"Brother Lucas and Captain Samuel, we ask to remain calm!" reprimand the judge on the two men involved in the commotion. "And as for the files you gave us, they were all fake" said the judge, sounding like a breath of fresh air in Lucas' ear. But it was a disaster for Samuel.
"This is impossible, Your Majesty! Obviously at that time our side had checked it and all the files I provided proved its validity!" shrieked Samuel, unable to accept this puzzling reality.
"But we've checked the files you provided and they're all fake! Please check back, if you don't believe me!" The judge threw the file on the table.
Samuel looked at the files one by one and his eyes were patterned because the sheets of paper he was holding today were clearly different from the letters he sent to the court. "I-this is impossible, Your Majesty. Someone must have traded it!"
"..." - ".Lucas screeches. "You can't twitch Captain Samuel anymore" he sneered in satisfaction.
"Then, where is the justice for my father who died from being killed by this son of a bitch?" amanda was desperate. Hope is only hope because destiny is playing its life back.
"The photo you showed us cannot be sure of the truth because it only shows a picture of your father who was killed horribly, not evidence of murder committed by the defendant's brother," the judge said.
The brunette girl chuckled. However, his face reddened with all his heart holding back anger as well as sadness. "Has your eyes and heart been covered by the bill, Your Majesty? Has justice been imposed for the lust of the worldly martyr?"
"See your talk Lady Amanda!" the judge was furious about the allegations made by women before him.
"Why Your Majesty? Are you feeling depressed at the moment? Are you ashamed that your disgrace was exposed in court?" cynical Amanda, no trepidation. Although some firearms are now pointed at him.
Two men in full uniforms approached Amanda and held her arm. "Follow us Madam."
"Wait!" pinta Lucas, suddenly. "Let my wife stay here for a while. He must witness how good will prevail in the eyes of the law!" he said it again full of shit.
The judge granted Lucas' request by giving Amanda a chance to watch the disgusting drama before him until it was over.
"Seeing the evidence and hearing the testimony of witnesses, the court hereby ruled that Lucas' brother Denver Alonzo was exempt from all charges—"
"Wait!!!" screech someone cut off the judge's speech. "I have the original files!" he said as he led a woman beside him.
"Matthew.." muttered Amanda, sparkling. The happiness that emanated from his eyes could not be hidden. "Mrs Allison, you...?"
"Yes, son. I am here. And I will bear witness to the crime of my husband" Allison said with a smile.
Matthew approached the examiner for evidence, then gave the files he had brought. "Please check!"
"And Your Majesty, let us testify. The woman standing behind me is Allison Elizabeth. She's the defendant's first wife, who was held for twenty years and is said to have died" Matthew said, sticking his hand out at Allison.
The judge is already feeling cornered and can no longer dwell because his good name is really at stake right now. "Court permits. For witnesses, please climb onto the podium."
"Thank you, Your Majesty" said Matthew.
"Let's Mom. Follow me..." Matthew led his mother's hand and took her to the witness podium.
Lucas' head ranged, following where the woman who was still his wife was walking. His eyelids were barely blinking at all, silenced by a shock not at all imagined all along.
"Allison, are you here?" muttered Lucas gawking, like seeing a ghost. "But how can? Who freed him from that barn?" Lucas wondered without turning his gaze.
"Prepare to get your karmas, Lucas!" matthew, sitting on an empty chair not far from where the father was standing.
Lucas turned his head, then pointed his middle finger at his son. "Just be quiet you unknowing brat!!"
"The defendant's brother and Matthew's brother, the trial will resume soon. We beg you both not to make a scene," the judge rebuked because the father and son squabble was the center of people's attention.
"Please continue, Your Majesty," Matthew replied, crossing his arms. His gaze shifted on Allison and stopped on the face of the woman he loved.
