Meet Alden

Sarah no longer knew what to do. With Helena's help, it's been five days that Sarah's searched every corner of the room, cupboards and drawers but couldn't find them.

“Helen, can you help me buy a new phone ? I really don't know where my stuff was when the accident happened.”

“What kind of phone do I want ?”

Sarah opened her internet banking to make sure that her savings did not decrease when she lost her memory. Sarah breathed a sigh of relief when her account was still safe, even she had frowned when she saw the mutation of her account had not changed, there was only an online payment transaction right on the day of the accident.

“Where is my wallet, Helen ?”

“I don't know, Mom. Mom brought a different purse and bag after the accident, not the usual stuff. Maybe it's all still in the apartment. Wasn't the last Mom to leave from the apartment ?”

“Do you have an Alden mobile number?”

“Pak Alden future husband Mom ? I have, Bu.”

Helena took the phone out of her blazer pocket and wrote it down on a piece of paper for Sarah.

“Please buy me a new phone soon. Payment will be I transfer after you price info.”

Helena nodded and walked out of Sarah's room and asked one of the staff there to accompany her to buy a cell phone for Sarah.

“What do you want to talk about ?”

At 4 pm Alden was willing to meet Sarah at one of the cafes located in the middle of the city.

Sarah did not expect that Alden would be that easy to accept his invitation to meet.

“Al, actually that night Annabelle threatened to derail our marriage. But I can't believe that he would hurt me.”

Sarah's drama face immediately makes Alden fed up, but as much as possible Alden held him back. His phone was already in a state of recording their conversation.

“What do you mean he wants to harm you ?”

“That night Annabelle said that she had evidence that could make you rethink our marriage. I followed his wishes because I wanted to know how far his business wanted to separate us,” Sarah's face grew sad but not the least Alden felt pity.

“I trust him and obey his request to come somewhere. I didn't think that the geeky crashed his car to harm me...”.

Sarah lowered her head as if holding back the tangjs made Alden smile sarcastically looking at her.

“If you have done nothing wrong, why listen to Annabelle's threats ? Or because he knows about your secret that I can't know ?”

“You know, Honey, Annabelle is obsessed with you, let alone her getting support from mommy and daddy. It must be difficult to accept the fact that in the end you still choose another woman to be your wife.”

Alden laughed softly with a slightly cynical face.

“I'm sure Annabelle isn't that petty,” Alden said in a firm voice. “But you yourself are terrified because you are pregnant with Reyhan.”

Sarah looked up with wide eyes. His heart thumped many times over but as hard as he could he still tried to cover it up.

“What do you mean, Honey ?”

“Don't pretend to be sad let alone know nothing and stop calling me honey. It's like throwing up to hear your charade-filled call. Stop acting because you are not a movie star who is shooting soap opera after airing.”

Alden was still smiling sinisterly and thrusting a large brown envelope in front of Sarah.

“What is this ?” Sarah frowned.

“Just open, haven't you always liked the surprise ?”

With a thumping heart, Sarah opened the envelope. Not just papers but photographs. Seen himself and Reyhan were both even some of them look Sarah is walking into the lobby of Reyhan's apartment.

“Even before Annabelle heard your conversation, I had proof that you were cheating behind my back. And that,” Alden confirms as Sarah holds a piece of paper.

“It was police evidence that the drug content found in Annabelle's blood was the same as that found in the rest of the water in the glass in your apartment that night. Even daddy's messengers find data from where you got it.”

“This is all part of your plan to earn easy money after becoming my wife. Originally your reason helped Reyhan to bring me down, but once you saw the numbers you would get when you officially became my wife, you instantly darkened your eyes and made it all right to get them all.”

“I don't think that far, Al. You think I'm a woman who is lacking like the geeky.” Sarah's voice that began to rise suddenly silenced when she saw Alden's face that looks angry.

Alden pounded the table making some visitors and the cafe waiter turn their heads towards them. Sarah turned to him because she was ashamed.

“Stop provoking me to hate Annabelle even more. The one thing I'm telling you, never bother my life, my family and especially Annabelle. All you see is a copy. I'm still kind enough to not prolong this matter and hand it over to the police. Don't expect because you're a great lawyer, all the evidence I have you can deny and release you from the law. I'm sure that Om Peter and Reyhan won't take the trouble to help you.”

“Alden,” Sarah held Alden's arm out of her chair.

“I want to go to the apartment, pick up my things that are there.”

“Not necessary. Your goods have been tidied up and immediately tell Raka where the goods will be sent.”

“But Al…. “

“You know the terms I once told you. Not just a matter of virginity, but your affair even to the point of having a child from another man, can not be forgiven. Our relationship ended from then on.”

Sarah was silent as Alden shook his hand without even looking at her.

His heart was really emotional if he remembered the accident that had happened to him.

The geeky girl completely destroyed all my plans that were almost successful, Sarah growled while clenching her hands together.

Sarah still could not accept the fact that it was not Annabelle who caused Alden to decide, but himself who had misused Alden's trust.

“Gue told Sarah about her things in the apartment. Please elo arrange a problem of his delivery.”

Alden immediately contacted Raka as soon as he left the cafe to the car park.

“So the story really ends ? How to find info about Sarah did not tell me, instead ask for help others ?” ledek Raka's

“Pusing if elo takes care, kepo.”

“Live move to Annabelle story ?”

“And I said what, assistant kepo.” Alden started the engine. “Gue first way to the hospital. Next week please arrange not to have a morning meeting.”

“”Cie.. cie. the PDKT is the same as geeky. Tomorrow I'm with Tami to go to the hospital.”

“Activate. I'm going there first. The little psychiatrist instead tries to make Annabelle fall in love with him.”

“Jealous duh. The Boss kayak abege aja,” ledek Raka.

Alden hung up his phone call and started running his car leaving the cafe parking lot.

His car passed Sarah, who was walking to the highway, making the woman regret feeling ignored by AldenZ
