“You what are you here ?” reyhan's unfriendly voice made Sarah sigh.

Reyhan was visibly upset when he saw Sarah sitting on the sofa in his room. The time is almost 7pm and Reyhan has just returned to the office after meeting with his client to discuss the preparation of the case trial.

Sarah looks sad and her heart aches when she finds Reyhan, a man who has been 4 years more her lover turned into a cold man who is ketus and indifferent to her.

“Rey, let me stay in your apartment for a while,”

Sarah got up from the sofa and approached Reyhan who was already sitting at his desk. Usually Reyhan would immediately pat his thigh as a signal for Sarah to sit on his lap, but this time Reyhan's legs docked to the table and did not give any gap for Sarah.

“Why ? Alden threw you away and made you suddenly fall poor ?” Reyhan smiled mockingly.

“Reyhan !” snapped Sarah. ‘How many times have I told you that I was close to Alden because I wanted to help you avenge Riri's death. I've never had any feelings for Alden, let alone that guy like he's not a normal guy.”

“If your goal is just to help me like our plan then you will stop when I ask. In fact, you keep asking for time to stay with Alden until your marriage is done. Maybe you don't love Alden, but you love his money, the offer is very tempting if your status changes to Young Madam Hutama.”

“Not so did Reyhan. Me...”

“What's not so is !” Reyhan pounded the table hard enough to make Sarah jump in shock.

“I am not as rich as Alden Hutama, but I will not make you a poor woman either. I'm still buying you branded stuff, though not as often as Alden does. Your greed has made me lose my future son and the grudge you've kept all this time has ruined my family ! Congratulations, Sarah, you are truly a great woman, you can achieve all your original goals of avenging the death of your mother.”

“Reyhan, I really don't know the problem of the photo you said I left to your parents. Since establishing a serious relationship with you I no longer intend to bring up the matter of the photo let alone deliberately give it to you or your mama.”

“The truth is the photo wasn't in the place you said it was and someone else took it to my house that night. If indeed you do not intend to bring it up, why when your heart makes that decision, the evidence you have not directly destroyed is instead stored ?”

“I never gave it to anyone, Rey,” Sarah asserted. “You also know that I have no good friends in this world. I only have you, the only person close to me.”

“I wasn't blind to see the young woman who handed you the envelope that night before the car went inside my parents' house. Whether intentionally or not, the envelope was left in the car and handed to mama until finally mama became the first person to see your depraved deeds with papa.”

“I dare to swear by anything, Rey, I really never asked anyone to print that photo and deliberately show it to anyone let alone your family !” sarah said in a half-screaming voice.

“No need you swear everything, I don't need. The fact is that the photo was already in my parents' hands and I saw it myself. I don't know if you've been satisfied with your revenge plan on papa, but surely you've managed to make my family feel pain and destruction.”

“Rey, please trust me this time. I really said honesty and I'm going to find out where the free disc is.”

“Rey, I beg you,” Sarah said while cupping her hands in front of her face.

“I asked you to leave Alden and stay by my side. I'll face Alden face to face and tell him about your pregnancy, but you rejected me. You go and ask for time to complete all your plans because you say that you are not a woman who likes half to do work. And in fact, your goal is to get the treasure promised by Alden. You made our future child a victim of your greed. To me, such a woman is simply not worthy of being a wife.”

“Rey...” Sarah looks sad and disappointed to hear Reyhan's decision.

“I still give you time until you get an apartment or anything as your new residence. After that, bring all your stuff in my apartment. The matter of your belongings in Alden's apartment is none of my business. You have saved enough for 2 years by living in Alden's apartment without spending a penny, so use that money to connect your life.”

“Rey, please, let me keep working in this place and please don't spread rumors about myself among lawyers. I promise I won't bother you let alone your papa. We really work professionally and I will wait until you forgive me.”

“No broken glass can be reconnected like its initial shape. So too with human relationships. Often people are easy to say sorry and forgive, but the difficult thing is to forget and I will not easily forget with all your actions to my family.”

Reyhan tidied up his desk and got up from the chair, walking past Sarah who was holding his arm

“Reyhan, give me a second chance. I don't care about the pain I feel from seeing what you did to Siska because I know that it's not worth the pain your mother felt because of my photos with Mr. Peter. I'm gonna find out who the woman who handed you the photo in front of your house and find out who's behind it all. I beg Rey.”

Sarah again cupped her hands together in front of her face with a pleading look at Reyhan. The man stomped his hand until Sarah's hand came off.

“Do what you want to do and the problem of how I will decide, I myself do not know. Don't make others an excuse to do good or evil, but ask yourself if you still have a conscience when deciding something.”

Without waiting for Sarah's answer, Reyhan leaves the woman still glued to her place,

“Do not forget to turn off all lights before you go home. This office is not as rich as Hutama Group which can waste money only for a few pairs of lights,” Reyhan quipped with a cynical voice.

Sarah rushes to get her bag on the sofa and turns off the lights before leaving Reyhan's room.

Sarah who was afraid of the dark did not want to be left alone, so she quickly caught up with Reyhan who was already standing in front of the elevator.

There was no discussion as long as the elevator moved to the ground floor. Reyhan is busy with his phone while Sarah is busy with her thoughts about who stole his free disc.

When both of them were in front of the door of this lawyer's office building, the, Reyhan immediately got into his car and did not offer a ride to Sarah until finally the woman decided to call a taxi and stay at one of the hotels without clothes or the other.

Sarah forgets that she put a bag of change of clothes complete with other equipment in the trunk of Reyhan's car. All of that was just in case because Reyhan often invited him to spend two nights at the hotel.

Tomorrow morning Sarah plans to go to Reyhan's apartment to pick up some of her clothes and personal belongings until she gets a new place to live.
