About Alden's Love

Alden's surgery went well but by the third day, Alden had not opened his eyes and was admitted to the ICU.

“You want to go out with this handsome doctor ?” Annabelle was surprised to see Yudha appear in her room.

“Self ?” Annabelle knitted her brows. “Don't tell me that Mommy told you to be my psychiatrist again.”

“Hey, why do you need a psychiatrist ? Can't come as a friend ?”

“Modus,” Annabelle sneering. “Then there is no harm I use to be my nurse a day.”

“Anything for you my Belle,” says Yudha with a laugh.

The handsome psychiatrist immediately helped Annabelle sit in her wheelchair and took her out of the room.

“I want to see Alden first.”

“According to your orders young Miss Hutama,” led Yudha while chuckling and Annabelle just sneered.

“You should be happy because it is my sincere prayer for you and Alden,” Yudha again teases Annabelle while pushing the girl's wheelchair towards the 3rd floor and into the ICU room.

”So it's started loving her ?” whispered Yudha when they were beside Alden, who still had his eyes closed.

“Since then and never changed,” shriveled Annabelle with a faint smile.

“Then don't reject fate again until God gives you a third chance.”

“Three ?” both of Annabelle's eyebrows are raised.

“Do not pretend to forget,” Yudha said while chuckling.

Finished swooping in Alden, Yudha led Annabelle into the courtyard behind the main building of the hospital.

“So remember the incident a few months ago,” Annabelle laughed softly while staring at the grassy expanse in front of her.

“Surely remember the incident of Sarah Belle ?”

“Usiau is still far from senile word !” nagging Annabelle while thieving.

Yudha laughed while nodding her head.

“But you forgot the reason why you can go back to being Annabelle now.”

Annabelle was silent because instead of forgetting, she denied the fact.

“Kak Hana !” Annabelle looks happy when she sees a woman who is soon to be married to Yudha coming to visit her.

Aided by Mama Mira, Annabelle is getting ready to go home after 5 days as a patient at this hospital.

“Yups, just starting this week,” Hana nodded happily. “Yudha is also a permanent psychiatrist here.”

“Wow, so you guys are allowed to work in the same hospital ?”

Hana nodded and helped bring Annabelle's bag of clothes that Mama Mira had brought.

There was also Papa Rano who picked up and a Daddy Wira man driver. Papa Rano has not been allowed to drive on his own.

“Ma...” Annabelle stared at her mother as they stepped into the elevator.

The two Annabelle parents immediately nodded, understanding what her daughter wanted as cuddly as going home.

Arriving at the 3rd floor, both Anabelle and Hana's parents wait outside the ICU room while Annabelle enters to visit Alden.

“Den, it's me Belle. Actually I still want to be around you but it's impossible to continue being a patient while the doctor has allowed me to go home. I missed you, Den. Open your eyes. Me... “

Annabelle could no longer hold back her tears. His hands clasped tightly onto Alden's fingers which felt cold.

“I love you Alden,” Annabelle said that sentence in one breath.

The sentence he always whispered every time he invited this comatose Alden to speak.

“I love you so much, since long ago until now. Thank you for your love for giving me life twice. Open your eyes, Den. I'm really claustrophobic without you. Give me life again with your love.”

Annabelle kisses Alden's hand, which is finally wet with Annabelle's tears.

“I will come again tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and the days after until you open your eyes. No matter how long I have to wait for you, I want to see you open your eyes again.”

Annabelle got up and kissed Alden on the forehead and moved to her cheeks. Annabelle seemed hesitant when she wanted to kiss Alden's lips, but today Annabelle ventured to touch Alden's lips with hers.

“I love you, Alden Hutama,” whispered Annabelle in Alden's ear.

Annabelle smiled before leaving Alden but her steps were restrained as she felt Alden's grasp grow stronger.

“Alden ?”

Alden's fingers were still holding Annabelle and his eyes opened slowly.

“Suster !” Annabelle called the nurse who was standing guard in the room.

Alden's eyes blinked and his lips smiled as he looked at Annabelle.

Two nurses checked Alden's condition and another called the doctor in charge of Alden's treatment.

“Nona can wait outside first ?”

“Den, I'm outside, I'm not going anywhere,” Annabelle said tightening her grip to reassure the man.

Alden released Annabelle's hand which came out with a happy face.

“Happy new heart,” ledek Hana when she saw Annabelle come out with a smiling face.

Annabelle immediately rushed into the arms of Mama Mira who was standing next to Hana.

“Alden aware, Ma. Alden opened his eyes and smiled. Can I stay here ?”

“Really Belle ?” papa Rano's face looked shocked and happy.

“Surely can, dear. Mama and Papa will be with you too,” Mama Mira breaks her arms and rubs Annabelle's wet face with tears.

Papa Rano directly contacted Mr and Mrs Hutama about this good news.

“Alden is back, Sister,” Annabelle hugging Hana instead.

“Thank God, Belle. Hopefully everything will be launched,” said Hana while rubbing Annabelle's back.

Two doctors rushed into the ICU.
