“Take care of your mouth, Leah, no one asks for your opinion here.”

“Tsk! There are new things about Remi, you act tough on me.”

Remi did not accept Leah's words and cornered her to the wall, Leah's back hit the wall hard, seeming to complain but ignored by Remi. “I told you not to bother me, don't make drama on me, I'm not like Langdon who is easily fooled by you.”

“Remi, release.” Ray and I tried to break them up.

“Ouch Remi, you hurt me.” Leah put on a pretend look. Remi released her snare on Leah's neck and then coughed.

“You're Langdon's wife, not my family, I remind you if you forget that. YOU I never thought of as family, your opinion doesn't matter. Save it for yourself.”

“Sst... Rummy, Remi. Come on, just leave him.” Ray patted Remi's shoulder.

“I've been patient enough all this time, he so do not know the place.”

“I know. Never mind, don't mind, she's getting more likes if it gets your attention.”

There was a sinister smile from Leah towards the two men, then it was as if nothing had ever happened, and she walked away from the scene to the room we were going to.

Upon arrival in the room I expected was the study, I was surprised to find that not only Mr. Langdon was waiting, but also Mr. Rector, Vice-Chancellor, Dean, he said, and also Mr. Andrew, head of my lab. My feeling was immediately bad, me and Remi both looked at Ray, he did not mention this matter earlier!

But it turns out that surprised not only us but also Ray, Mr. Langdon apparently pranked the three of us.

“Well, good evening gentleman. Surprising as it turns out we have an additional audience.” Ray sent a sharp look at Sir Langdon who sat quietly and smiled back at him ignoring Ray's innuendo.

“I invited them, as this relates to the good name of the campus. Steps that we will take in the future so that the campus name is not tarnished.”

“Well then, let me speak first with my client to coordinate, because I am a representative of them, if they do not agree then this ‘dakan’ meeting is off.”

I'm very happy to hear Ray's response that is not easily subject to these “besar” people.

“Come Ray, no need to be formal!” Rector chimed.

“Sorry Sir, I only think about the well-being of my clients.” Ray nodded politely.

“Can't be so! They should cooperate!” This time the Dean shouted in disbelief. Huh, so much for “no need formal” from their side.

“No provision requires that, until proven otherwise they are still suspect, not suspect. So let's not make any conclusions first sir, precede the investigation from the authorities.”

“Alright, please discuss first. We will wait.” Mr. Langdon interceded, he had avoided Remi's gaze from the moment we entered the room. Lucky Leah knew herself sitting quietly drinking her champagne with a proud attitude.

Ray then took me and Remi to the library room for a discussion.

“They didn't come here to listen to the real incident, they just needed a scapegoat to blame for the good name of the University.” Remi spoke first.

“Hmm... Is that?”

“True. Then, do you want to meet them?”

“Wise move and I agree. But Meha, I have to emphasize here, given your background, maybe they're focusing on you more as a mash-up. You have to dare to fight.”

“Okay. By the way Ray, I didn't hear you ask us if I was guilty or not.”

“My job is to save you guys, things outside it are none of my business.”

“So you don't care if I'm right or not?”

“Unfortunately, no.”

“Alright, fair enough.”

“Are you ready?”

I nodded, Remi sent a signal to Ray to leave us for a while and Ray complied.

“Don't be long, those old guys are impatient.”

“Okay.” Remi closed the door and approached me. “Meha, are you sure? They're more cunning than a flock of Hyena.”

“I think I can handle it.”

“You know, I'll always be next to you.”

“Remi, although you never doubted me, but rest assured. It wasn't me.”

“I believe.”

“Alright, as long as you trust me, there's nothing more I need.”

Remi and I got out of the library and met Ray who was faithfully waiting for us in front of the study.

“You ready?”

“Ready!”

We had just entered the room, when Langdon then announced a unilateral decision from them.

“Well Ray's. We have made a decision, although this decision will be difficult to accept but we hope you understand that this is not only about you, but to protect the lives of many people.”

“But Sir,”

“.... For that we ask Remi to muffle the discordant voices outside.”

‘Ha? Who?’
