Chp 44: Unexpected

As Zhara and Evalina had agreed, the two of them were doing hot activities that they had not done in Evalina's house for a long time, or rather called the mansion.

As Evalina said, there was no one there except some servants who were immediately released by Evalina when she came, so that no one would interfere with her activities with Zhara.

After entering Evalina's room filled with accessories and posters about the car, Zhara immediately launched her action by pushing Evalina into the bed and smashing her ferociously.

"Now let's see where the old man kept the thing." murmured Zhara.

After that Zhara walked leisurely towards one of the rooms she thought belonged to Evalina's grandfather to get the item she was looking for.

In the room there are very many antiques from around the world that are certainly very expensive, besides there are very many collections of wine and several collections of medals in winning gambling.

From there you could say Evalina's grandfather was very fond of antiques and was very good at gambling.

"I wish we could play gambling again." murmured Zhara as if she knew Evalina's grandfather.

But it wasn't time for that, Zhara started looking for the thing she was looking for in the big closet that was where Evalina's grandfather kept the clothes.

Usually one would keep his valuables in between the folds of clothing, but there was nothing there when Zhara had been looking for him for half an hour.

Not getting the things he was looking for from the closet, Zhara checked in various places such as beds, collection cabinets, inside work desks, and so on.

But Zhara still had not found the thing she was looking for...

"Curtain! Did he hide it in his company? It would be troublesome." murmured Zhara.

After thinking like that, Zhara suddenly saw one of the paintings on the wall and thought that Evalina's grandfather had kept it there.

And sure enough, behind the painting is a hole in which there is a glass box containing objects that Zhara was looking for.

"I finally got it.." murmured Zhara.

Zhara opened the glass case and picked up what Zhara was looking for, which turned out to be a chip the size of a thumb.

"With this everything will go smoothly." muttered Zhara and brought the chip.

The chip in Zhara's hands is a chip that contains a myriad of very extraordinary research data, one of which is system data that can ward off various computer viruses including VG-19, which can be used to prevent computer viruses, but that's not the only thing that's really useful to Zhara.

The most amazing thing is the existence of information about genetic modification research that will certainly electrify the world.

With genetic modification, humans can change their genetic makeup to different genetics.

People who are physically weak can become very strong instantly and fools can instantly become smart, all of which can be realized by genetic modification.

After Zhara tidied everything up, her phone suddenly rang a sign someone was calling her.

Zhara looked at her phone to see who was calling her, it turned out to be Aurel.

'Not that the previous problem was over, why did he call me again.' murmured Zhara astonished.

[Zhara, there's a problem! Hurry back!]

"I'll be there soon" said Zhara.

So Zhara responded quickly and left the Evalina mansion, leaving Evalina still asleep in her room.

Zhara drove Evalina's car to her company, which was far enough from Evalina's mansion that it took her 2 hours to get there.

When Zhara entered the company, she was astonished by the employees who still looked fine without any problems even though Aurel had just said there was a big problem.

'Is he just messing around?... It was impossible, Aurel would not play around with such an important thing like this.

Zhara then went straight to the 51st floor where Aurel's workspace was located, and when she got there, Zhara was once confused because everyone Zhara knew had gathered there like Aurel, Mila, Rosalie, Laura, Iris, Aland, Rian, Adney, Lily, and Viola.

"Finally you came too." said Aurel, relieved to see Zhara's arrival.

"What happened, really? Why is everyone gathered here?" asked Zhara in astonishment.

"..... You can see it for yourself." said Aurel showing his computer to Zhara which made him very surprised by what he saw inside Aurel's computer.

"I-It... Our research data is gone!? How is that possible!" zhara said in disbelief.

Zhara was very confident that she had already destroyed the VG-19 virus before it deleted her research data and that it would take several hours or days to reload that data.

However, now Aurel's computer has finished loading data but there is absolutely nothing there that indicates the research data has been lost.

"I don't believe this either.... Zhara, have you really destroyed the virus?" aurel.

Previously he also felt very surprised when he found out that the data containing a lot of research from his company was lost.

"I swear I destroyed it perfectly" Zhara said.

The place where the research data can be stolen there are only two places, namely the 51st floor which is the workplace of Aurel and Zhara or more precisely in Aurel's computer, and the second is the basement which is where Aland and the others are working on their Project.

The 51st floor was obviously difficult to penetrate due to the tight security of the highly trained security forces, so only the basement was the only place where the theft took place.

But as Aurel said, only with Zhara and Aurel's fingerprints or identity cards can be used to retrieve the research data....

As Zhara thought about it, she suddenly remembered something and felt her pocket to pick up her identity card, but there was nothing there.

Realizing that, Zhara seemed to already know who the person who stole her company's research data was....

The grandfather's face instantly brightened when he saw the very chip in his chest, he then moved his hand to gently stroke the girl's hair.
