Chp 48: Five Fingers

On the 1st floor, Rian and Laura had just entered the women's changing room after the women had previously finished changing clothes.

However, Rian and Laura were made very confused by their communication with her partner who was in the monitoring room being cut off.

So inevitably Rian and Laura do their job alone.

After they finished changing the clothes of the janitor with the face of Rian who had a slap from peeping from Laura, they also headed straight to the elevator that Adney said before.

After that the elevator moves downwards when they are already on the 1st floor, it indicates if the code that Laura input is correct.

Shortly after, the elevator stops moving, and Rian and Laura step out of the elevator carefully and find themselves in a hallway with white steel walls and ceilings.

"So this is their basement, yeah... I don't think it's too different from our basement." murmured Rian.

"Shut up and let's get moving" Laura said.

Their communication with Adney has been cut off, meaning they both have to do their own work.

Rian and Laura prepared themselves with a gun similar to that of Zhara and Rosalie, then they walked down the hall with hearts.

Laura had seen the structure of the Alastrine Industrions company building before while still in the monitoring room, so she still remembered the locations of the rooms in the company Alastrine Industrions.

After tracing the steel aisle for a while, they then entered a room that was thought to be where their research data was located.

But it was very different to what they had expected, not the clean and luxurious research room they had seen but rather something extremely terrifying.

"W-What's this?? Human research?" rian muttered in disbelief.

"I never thought that this company was so inhumane." Laura muttered in disbelief.

What was in front of them was the sight of dozens of 5-meter-high glass tubes with humans inside that were submerged by a green-colored liquid.

The human condition inside the tube also looks very disgusting which will make anyone who sees it will vomit and remove the contents of his stomach.

And that was what Rian had experienced, he immediately vomited for a while after seeing that terrifying scene.

"Ughs... Why aren't you affected at all, Laura...?" rian said softly after vomiting.

Rian was completely shocked by Laura's attitude of being able to look at the dozens of disgusting humans casually without the slightest bit of nausea.

"What about our research? Is there any progress?" said one of the men, and Laura knew the man.

'Luke, he's Mr.'s assistant. Amril.' inner Laura and continued to listen to their conversation.

"Our research on genetic modification is making rapid progress, Mr. Luke.. I'm sure in a few months' time we can make the Five Fingers again!" said one of the men in a lab coat that indicated he was a scientist.

"I think I've heard about rumors that the company Alastrine Industrions has a very powerful secret army, I think the Five Fingers are the troops in question." Rian whispered to Laura.

"Regarding research data from Futuristic Generation companies, when Mr. Amril will announce it to the public?" ask one of the scientists.

"Mr's Plan. Amril will announce it along with the genetic modification research, so work hard so we can announce it quickly" Luke said.

""Good!"" answer them simultaneously.

After that Luke and the Scientists came out of the room and left Rian and Laura who had heard all their conversations.

'I get a lot of interesting information, but what's more important is getting our research data first.' Laura's inner self.

The two of them then walked to where Luke had been, where there were several research tables and several cabinets.

"I'll look for him at the table, you look for him in the closet!" said Laura.

They broke through the tables and cabinets to search for their research data, but after everything was revealed, they found no chips containing their research data.

"Our research data is not here.... Maybe it was in Mr.'s hands. Amril?" laura said disappointedly.

"That's possible... We better get out of the si-"

On the other hand, Zhara had realized that she had entered an enemy trap and was somewhat annoyed by what had happened.

Zhara looked around her, she was currently in a red-colored room and there were only 1 door, Zhara turned her gaze up and did not see any holes that had previously been where they had fallen.

Moreover, Zhara did not find Evalina there at all....

Right after he thought that, two people entered the red room through the only door.

It was a woman with long black hair that covered her entire face, and a muscular bald man who was bare-chested who had an abnormal body size.

'What the hell are they.' inner Zhara.

Rosalie woke up from her stupor with a head that felt very painful had a hard enough impact on her head to make her faint.
