Chp 59: Meaning of Change

Zhara had arrived in Indonesia in just a matter of a few hours due to the speed of her private jet that exceeded the normal speed of the plane.

The plane landed perfectly at the airport in particular and Zhara came out of there dragging a suitcase, where a muscular man in a black suit and sunglasses picked her up.

The muscular man named Bryson who is a former General of the United States and is now the coach of the SIERRA forces belonging to Zhara.

Bryson initially refused to join Zhara's Generation Futuristic company because of his ego and high self-esteem, but after Zhara defeated him in a hand-to-hand fight, he refused, inevitably he had to acknowledge Zhara and join her....

"Welcome back to Zhara" said Bryson politely.

"Thank you Bryson." said Zhara and got into the limousine that had been provided.

The car drove with Bryson driving it as a driver.

"Bryson, by the way, what do you think of the Futuristic Generation?" zhara said suddenly.

".....The Futuristic Generation is amazing, that's all I can say...but, can I speak a little presumptuously?" bryson said with some hesitation but he set himself.

"Just say whatever you want to say." said Zhara casually.

"Alright, then I won't hesitate." said Bryson with a slight pause and continued.

"Do you know what the consequences will be due to the greatness of the Futuristic Generation?"

Zhara slightly glanced at Bryson through the mirror in the middle of the car and could see his serious face reflected there.

Zhara grinned a little at that.

"What do you think?" zhara.

Zhara did not want to give her the answer but instead asked Bryson's opinion directly.

"..... Generation Futuristic companies made many new innovations that have never existed in the world and changed the world so significantly until what it is today, it is very useful for mankind, it is very useful for human beings, but it's also very detrimental to humans in time.Look around you." Bryson said calmly and kept driving.

Zhara followed Bryson and looked out the car window.

There are seen people who focus on their gadgets mading each without caring about other people, dogs, and dogs, cats and other pets roam unkempt on the streets and nobody cares about them even when they are dying.

A grandmother who was already very vulnerable wanted to cross the street, but there was no one to help her. A couple of shabby, skinny-clad children were seen between the sidelines of a large building, staring at a very different environment than them.

He is a former general, so he already has a lot of experience in terms of humanity, he has seen a lot of human nature from the worst to the best, so he's pretty sensitive about what's going to happen in the future.

While Zhara, she already knew the negative impact of her actions, she already knew about it before even starting her plan.

It is undeniable that Zhara had made the small society suffer, even Zhara knew many people died because of it.

But it was needed....

"Bryson, this world is not cruel, it's just that the world trains us to be strong." said Zhara.

"I don't understand what you mean....."

"Little societies suffer because of this change, it will make them strive to become stronger so as not to be denigrated by the big society, whether it is through being rich or physically strong, effort is still effort.... the world is still primitive with the law of the jungle, the strongest will rule while the weak will be oppressed" Zhara said calmly.

"But this is a modern world with a lot of advanced technology, this is not a primitive world with a law of the jungle.." Bryson denied while Zhara just grinned.

"No one knows when this modern world turned primitive again with the law of the jungle." Zhara mysteriously said.

Bryson apologizes to Zhara for behaving disrespectfully to her before Zhara goes to meet Aurel.

In Zhara's study, Aurel had been waiting for Zhara there with Iris and Adney in neat suits and welcomed Zhara's arrival warmly.

The three of them were not too formal with Zhara due to the events of that time that had created a close bond of friendship, so they could sit back casually while giving their business reports.

From Adney's report that takes care of the manufacture of unmanned robots, he reported that the main mechanism of the robot was already completed and just waiting for the test.

From the results of the report Iris who handles the business of selling technology reported that several major countries such as the United States, Russia, and North Korea want to order a weapon type of tesla cannon that launched an electrical attack of 100,000 VOLT.

It was such a high voltage of electricity that it could kill thousands of troops at once in just a fraction of a second.

Zhara refused their order because the weapons ordered were very dangerous and they would probably use them for war.

As we all know, the United States and North Korea are two hostile countries, if they get the weapons of mass destruction then they will definitely go to war.

The war would only undermine Zhara's plan to confront the Apocalypse that was approaching so she refused.

After that there were many more reports they reported to Zhara, but all of them were handled easily by Zhara.

"Are there no other reports?" zhara.

"Nothing, everything is in order." Aurel said with Iris and Adney nods.

With this, Zhara's work was finished, but Zhara suddenly remembered one thing.

"Then, what about the prisoner? have you got any information from him?" Zhara.

"Th-That's...."

Aurel had trouble answering, but fortunately there was an even bolder Adney to talk to.

"We still don't get any answers from him, he's so adamant not to talk, we don't even know what his name is." Adney said.

"Hm... Can you take me there?" zhara.

Though it has been 9 months but they still do not get any information from him.

Aurel and Iris return to their respective jobs while Zhara and Adney head to the basement to meet the prisoner in question.

In a glazed silver-colored steel room, there was a woman with long white hair who touched the floor, his eyes were empty like the eyes of a blind man while his hands and feet were bound by chains while he was caged by transparent glass.

The woman is the same person as the blind woman Rosalie fought 9 months ago, the only information he got was one of the Five Fingers members who was a mutant with ultrasonic wave power and excellent hearing.

There was no other information, not even a name....

Zhara approached the glass wall to see the woman's face clearly, but as she approached it, she suddenly shouted and made ultrasonic waves toward Zhara.

The loud buzz sounded and the glass shook violently but did not break after being hit by the powerful wave, instead the ultrasonic wave bounced back towards him which made him so much pain that his ears bled.

"Don't waste your energy on the impossible, this is the glass that I made especially for you, every time you use your abilities it will reflect it to you." Zhara said coldly.
