1095 DAYS BEFORE THE APOCALYPSE
Chp 87: Initial Assault

Dozens of Generation Futuristic fighter planes flew over the clouds of Japan to make it unknown to the public, but there must be some media that already knew about it and covered it.

The plane has one goal that they want to achieve, which is Mr. Hiroaki's human research headquarters located in a remote place.

[Target in sight, awaiting orders from captain Asher!] said one of the pilots through a speaker reporting the situation out there.

"We're getting off here!" asher's orders.

Actually to destroy the research place is very easy, just by bombarding it with missiles then the place is flat with the ground.

But given the Queen, Warren, Felix, and Chip research that's still in there, they shouldn't be doing that sloppy thing.

So Asher ordered the pilot to land at his current location just a few dozen meters away from the research site.

Jack and the others did the same.

All the troops descended and looked at their leaders Asher and Jack with stern eyes.

"Our goal is to exterminate the barbaric research sites, they easily capture civilians and make them mutants without mercy! So we have to wipe it off the face of the earth."

"But before we do that, we have to bring the Queen captain, the Felix captain, and the Warren captain who are still in there" Asher continued, accompanied by a passionate shout from his troops.

This was actually their first mission since joining the Frasier-01 force, but they were confident of winning because they had gone through a lot of training on the training island.

"What else are you waiting for, let's move forward!" asher's orders.

They all came forward bravely to invade the research site.

"Have they sent the file?" ask Jack to Asher.

Asher noticed the HPC on his arm, there was a display of receiving file submissions with a percentage of his success.

"It has been sent" said Asher who saw the percentage of success has reached 100%.

He then opened the file and showed them a map of the human research building in front of them.

"As expected of Warren, this map is very detailed" Asher said in awe.

Through the tracker on the map, Asher and Jack see three blue dots that indicate it is Queen, Warren, and Felix. They're both downstairs.

So they could blow up the place without any hesitation at all since his three comrades would not be affected.

Asher and Jack order their entire army to destroy the main building of the research site.

Using missiles from several Neohuman08-type combat robots, the building was immediately flattened.

But Asher and the others had nothing to worry about as the explosion did not affect the basement beneath the building, just that the resulting tremors might make their enemies wary.

And sure enough, General Grinz's instinct in the basement was sharpened when he realized there was an enemy attacking them.

"Where is Mr Hiroaki?! Where's the security forces? Why don't you realize there's an enemy attacking this base!" shouted General Grinz wrathfully.

Emergency alarms sounded everywhere accompanied by red lights that continued to flicker.

Everyone at the venue panicked including the prisoners still held in the prison who would later be used as research subjects.

But suddenly an explosion destroyed the prison door that locked hundreds of people inside it.

They all immediately panicked but could only cower in fear, before long a beautiful woman entered the prison slowly while raising both hands.

"We won't hurt you, but save you" said the woman, who is Queen.

"Come here, we must hurry out of this place." continued Queen while extending her hand.

The prisoners turned to each other before nodding their heads obediently and then out of the place that had been torturing their minds.

Outside the prison are Felix and Warren, who are on standby carrying rifles they seized from security forces.

The two of them had frightened the prisoners, but Queen immediately calmed them down.

"We must lead them all out of this place" Queen said as it was also part of their mission.

"We'll protect them!" warren said seriously.

While General Grinz seemed to be in such a hurry, he walked quickly as he opened the door of every room he saw.

"Hiroaki where are you!" his yell.

He intercepted one of the scientists running to evacuate himself and asked him, "You know where Mr Hiroaki is?!"

"S-I saw him along with his new secretary in block C a few hours ago" the scientist stuttered.

"Go away" said General Grinz telling the scientist to leave.

With an annoyed face he then ran towards block C as said by the scientist, and right up there he opened one of the bedroom doors and was shocked to see the dead Hiroaki on his bed.

He approached the corpse, his neck was blue while his face was pale white.

"He died from strangulation." muttered General Grinz.

He wondered who could kill a tough guy like Mr. Hiroaki, but then he came to his senses.

"The secretary.." - furious.

'Tch! I can be off guard like this.' Inner General Grinz rushed into the research room.

'I have to secure that chip first!' inner again.

But just walking down the hall to the research room, several shots from the assault rifle suddenly rained down on him from behind his body.

Because of the reflex General Grinz then immediately rolled into the room nearby to take cover, but a few shots hit his arm and made quite severe bleeding.

"Ck, shit!" his murmured rancidly while holding onto his wound.

He turned a little into the hallway, more precisely towards the shooter. But along with that the shot was fired again until almost hit his face.

"Shiits! It turned out that they had already entered this place!" he saw the silhouette of the attacker.

Only from the uniform of the assailant did General Grinz know that the attacker was part of the Futuristic Generation.

'I need to move fast!' thought General Grinz while rolling his eyes to look for items useful for resistance.

He was not carrying a weapon at this time due to the too sudden attack.

On the other hand the Frasier-01 forces attacking General Grinz were carefully approaching their target's hideout.

"Report Captain, we've found the target, he's on edge now!" said one of the troops who gave a report through his HPC.

[Hold him, I'll be right to your location.] Asher replied.

"Good!"

Not long after a large object covered by cloth was thrown from the hideout of General Grinz.

The troops became alert and immediately rained down on the object with consecutive shots from their assault rifles.

But without them expecting it, it immediately released an explosion large enough to obscure their view.

General Grinz used that momentum to get out of the hiding place and run towards the research room.

'May they have not reached that place, there is no other choice, I must release all the mutants present in this place!' thought General Grinz while running fast ignoring the wounds he suffered.

The large object enveloped by the cloth was actually a gas cylinder enveloped in cloth.

He deliberately did that because if he did not cover it with a cloth, then the Frasier-01 troops would definitely not open fire because they knew it would explode.
