Chp 56: The Journey Begins

"Imviewers, on this morning the company building Alastrine Industrions had a fatal accident from their experiment, currently hundreds of special forces led by General Grinz are conducting a more in-depth investigation of the case..."

"Have you erased all traces of human research?" general Grinz.

"I've done it before you even said it." replied Jack.

"Is that how you talk to your master?" general Grinz said with annoyance.

"Curtain!"

"The girl is not as stupid as you think, be careful with her." Jack said and left General Grinz.

General Grinz watched the man's back until it was no longer visible in his sight.

"Basic fucking mutants." muttered General Grinz in annoyance after Jack's departure.

Kinata and Reynald walked inside the company's Alastrine Industrials building after parting ways with General Grinz.

"Do you seriously want to investigate this? hasn't everything been investigated by the old man?" reynald was confused by Kinata's thought.

"One day you will understand Reynald. Sometimes you need to deceive your colleagues to make them show their true side." Kinata said with a meaningful smile.

Reynald was still confused, as usual he could not guess the girl's thoughts....

A week has passed since that incident and I already know the reason why Evalina betrayed me.

I never thought that he already knew my purpose and only used it from the beginning and he still wanted to sacrifice himself to save me.
