A Heart Bond

A Heart Bond
The Unexpected Moment

Love's. A taste with so much meaning. A feeling, which we sometimes never expect its presence. A taste, which is too valuable if we waste it.

"Sorry Na!" Said Dean who realized his attitude was beyond expectation.

Dean immediately let go of his embrace on Naina. Naina is also fixated on accepting Dean's treatment happily. He stared for a moment after waking up.

"What am I doing? Why did I welcome her hug?" Inner Naina.

Two people who were wrong, then walked a little away from each other. Naina walked towards the living room, while Dean walked towards the back porch. They try to neutralize their feelings.

The hearts of the two were pounding in their respective places. Mutual hammering and fast beating is not careless. Accompanied by a swirling feeling that somehow lays it out. Sure, it feels beautiful.

Dean tilted his little smile on realizing that Naina was not resisting his embrace. He even welcomed and enjoyed it.

A glimmer of hope, again present in the heart of the young businessman. The hope of being able to melt the heart of the idol, who in recent months, managed to disturb the calmness of his days.

What about Naina?

Naina tried to shake off that feeling. He cursed himself for being swept away by Dean's warm embrace which calmed him down enough.

Inner Naina is back in the struggle. There is a sense of happiness and want to reciprocate every sweet behavior Dean with open arms and even reciprocate the feelings of love that he had expressed yesterday. But on the other hand, he must also be faced with the fact that, he already has Rissa. And Rissa's father, is Dean's own cousin, and is someone Dean hates.

Naina faced a severe dilemma this time.

The old taste he killed, it turned out to grow perfectly due to the presence and attention of Dean. In his little heart, he wanted to avenge everything. But his past holds him back. The secret he was covering up, should be a big barrier to obey the wishes of his little heart.

Naina tried hard to neutralize the feelings and turmoil of her heart. He didn't want to, Dean saw him in a state of turmoil, devastated.

After a while and quite calm, Naina walked towards the back porch to approach Dean.

"You don't feel weird, De? Why can an insect-phobic person have a large garden with two trees growing large enough in it?"

Naina tried to melt the atmosphere. He didn't want Dean to misunderstand if he kept quiet because of wrong behavior. He sat on one of the chairs on the back porch that Dean had on his back.

"Eh, Na," Dean was surprised that Naina was already behind him.

Dean immediately turned around and sat in the chair opposite Naina.

"Why is Na?" Asked Dean who was also trying to melt the atmosphere.

"I don't want a phobic Rissa like me. Although it would be difficult for me, because sometimes I have to meet some insects in the garden. But, it's better, than Rissa should have a phobia like me." Honest Naina.

"Why do you have a phobia of insects? And can be hallucinating too." Dean asked curiously.

"Actually, not all insects I fear. There are some that I can still face without such great fear. But not for caterpillars and grasshoppers or anything like that. I'm so scared to face them."

Naina closed her eyes deeply. The shadow of the caterpillar and the insect attacked him again.

"If you're having trouble telling me, you don't have to tell Na!" Said Dean who was aware of Naina's attitude.

Naina regulated her irregular breathing. Slowly he opened his eyes with breathing that began to stretch. Then he took a long breath.

"When I was little, around my house, I was attacked by so many caterpillar pests. They even went into the house. And that's where I started to get scared of all kinds of caterpillars." Honest Naina.

"Are you okay Na?" Dean asked worried.

Naina was silent and did not answer. He looked straight ahead.

"After the incident, when I visited my cousin's house, I invited him to the rice field to catch the locusts. Suddenly, the two large locusts he caught, came loose and flew away. They sat on my face and bit my eyelids. I passed out at that moment because I was scared." Naina Imbuh.

"So because of that?" Mumbled Dean.

Naina suddenly got out of her chair and ran into the house. Leaving Dean shocked by it. Dean immediately chased Naina inside. He was afraid that Naina would be scared again like that.

Naina ran to her room. He was squatting near his bed. He buried his face between his knees. Close both ears with his hands. His body began to tremble.

The shadow of caterpillars and locusts in his childhood, appeared again. He tried his hardest to erase the shadow.

"Na," Call Dean a little freaked out from behind Naina.

"Aaaaaaa," Naina flinched to her feet and shouted while closing her eyes.

Dean was surprised because Naina suddenly stood up. He intends to calm Naina down, but her head suddenly returns to pain. There was a shadow of a woman appearing in his mind. The woman who was as scared as Naina was now.

"My savage," said the woman frantically in Dean's mind.

"Aaww," Rintih Dean as the shadow appeared in his eyes.

Dean doesn't hold Naina to calm her down. He held his own head which suddenly throbbed hard and felt very painful.

Naina who was still frightened, heard Dean's moaning. He nodded until he opened his eyes. Naina looked at Dean who was holding her head tightly.

Dean just kept quiet. He just shook his head while still holding his head.

"Sit down!" Naina helps Dean to sit on his bed.

Dean slowly opened his eyes. The pain in his head is slightly reduced.

"Aren't you Papa De? Your head hurts? Did our heads accidentally hit?" Naina asked confusedly.

"No Na. Our heads didn't clash just now." Dean agreed to calm Naina, whose anxious face was clearly visible.

Naina stood up immediately. "I'll get you a drink!"

That feeling flowed gently in Naina's heart. The affection and attentiveness towards Dean, flowing unhindered at this moment. Seeing her loved one in pain, defeating all the anger and prestige she had built to close the way for that beautiful feeling.

Naina immediately stood up and started to step on her feet. But, one hand was held by Dean and slightly pulled. Naina who did not stand properly because she was about to step, her body jerked and yawed. His body fell right on Dean's lap.

Dean is surprised Naina falls on his lap. Her hands reflexively hugged Naina's waist so as not to fall off her lap.

Naina was no less surprised than Dean. But, he realized Dean's hand was hugging his waist. And because of that, Naina quickly pushed Dean's shoulder firmly. And finally, that uwu moment happened again.

Dean's hand, which hugged Naina's waist, attracted Naina's body when Naina pushed Dean's shoulder hard enough. Dean falls on his back and is crushed by half of Naina's body.

Naina had supported her body with both hands on Dean's shoulder. Up to his face, not pinning Dean's face. But both views are inevitable. The two pairs of eyeballs reflect each other's faces.

Both hearts were beating fast. They were nervous with each other. But, they also momentarily enjoyed the unexpected moment that happened just like that.

The sound of Naina's house bell rang. Two people who were still looking at each other, suddenly realized. Naina immediately got up and stood up. And followed by Dean.

"Sorry De," said Naina nervously.

"Assalamu'alaikum," Naina's guest voice, echoed not so clearly from Naina's room.

"No, there's a guest." Dean said trying to divert attention to eliminate the nervousness between them.

"Eh, yes," Naina gasped in shock as she was still trying to neutralize her feelings. He forgot for a moment, the bell at his house rang.

Naina immediately exited the room to open the door. He walked with a feeling that was still not good. His heart is still beating fast. His heart was also turbulent.

Naina took a deep breath as she reached the door before opening it. Try as much as possible to neutralize his feelings, so that the guest does not see his nervousness.

"Bak Lea! Hera Ma'am!" Naina said happily as the door opened wide.

Naina immediately rushed into the arms of the two women who were smiling warmly at her. They embraced Naina happily.

"How are you Na?" Lea asked after the warm embrace was over.

"Good Ma'am. Leah's sister Hera how are you? Why don't you tell me if you want to come here?" Sahut Naina enthusiastic.

"Mas Ben has business tomorrow here. So, we're going. Just play to your place. I haven't been here in a long time." Honest Hera.

Naina just nodded in understanding.

Lea and Hera, still establish good communication with Naina even though they are quite far apart. Especially after the two former 'night butterflies' were married. Their distance is getting farther.

Lea and Hera married a resort businessman, Ben Raka Wijaya. It sounds crazy, but it happens. Leah and Hera married the same man. They even live under one roof with their husband.

Ben has several resorts on the island of Bali and Lombok. He is an orphan, too busy with his work, so he did not have time for romance. Until three years ago, he met with Lea and Hera during a business visit to Jogja. And he instantly fell in love with the two former 'night butterflies.

Six months later, they had their wedding in Lombok. Naina was there at the time.

Naina is initially in disbelief when Lea and Hera tell her about their marriage. But, when Naina meets Ben in person, she ends up believing in Lea and Hera.

"Hello Aunt's pretty niece!" Sapa Naina leaned over, facing two baby girls who were engrossed with their toys in their stroller.

"Hi Na!" Say hello to the man who was still busy bringing down the belongings of his two wives and children.

"Hi Mas Ben!" Naina's heart is relaxed.

"You have a guest?" Ben asked as he glanced at Dean's car parked in front of Naina's house as he walked up to her.

"Yes, it's." Naina answered briefly.

Ben stretched out his arms to hug Naina. The man who had just entered the age of four heads, considered Naina as his sister, just like Lea and Hera. Naina welcomed him.

"Who's Na?" Dean asked from the inside of the house.

And Dean's voice, managed to divert the attention of four adults who were busy giving up longing on the porch of Naina's house. Everyone looked at Dean. Including Naina, who still hugs Ben whom he considers like a father and brother to him.
