The Flashback

A sparkling night in the second most populous city in the United States, Los Angeles. The atmosphere of the night is so foreign to some people who have just set foot there for the first time. Including Sekar and Rendi.

Sekar and Rendi actually went to America with William and Joe. He really wanted to change his life. Forgetting his dark past and starting a new life. In a place far from his dark time.

"Naaina? God, I forgot my daughter and granddaughter. I should how? There is no way I can go back to Indonesia now. It would definitely be a shame and a hassle for Mr. Wiliam."

Sekar began to regret his decision to join William to America. He begins to worry about the situation of Naina and Rissa in Indonesia. But, he also could not return to Indonesia now, because he had just arrived in a country that was very foreign to him. And he was with someone who had been kind enough to help him the other day

"This is my house. You guys stay here!" William said sincerely after they arrived at the residence of William.

"Thank you Sir. Then, what should we do, sir?" Say Sekar sungkan.

"Joe will explain everything." Reply to William briefly.

"Okay sir, thank you." Reply Rendi and Sekar simultaneously.

William then went to his room. Leaving Joe who explained a few things to Sekar and Rendi. Wiliam is not very good at speaking Indonesian like Joe, but he is quite familiar with what Sekar and Rendi say.

William Frederick Robert. A property owner from Los Angeles. His name is already quite well known among business people in the Land of Uncle Sam. Wiliam's business was not long ago he wrestled, but it has been running smoothly enough and managed to penetrate the international market.

She is a widower with two children. His wife left him ten years ago, exactly one year after she gave birth to her second child. He left William because of Wiliam's bankrupt business at that time. He chose to go with another man richer than William. He handed over his two children to William.

Rendi and Sekar finally returned to their room to rest after chatting for a moment in the garden behind the house of Wiliam. They start their new lives with new hope.

The son and daughter of William welcomed the presence of Sekar and Rendi. They even helped Sekar and Rendi learn to speak English.

Over time, Wiliam who is a widower, can not deny the charm of Sekar who still looks so beautiful at the age of thirty-six. The fresh body fit, proportioned and well-groomed, and also his maternal attitude to his daughter's son, really shook the heart of the widower.

Wiliam has also found out about Sekar and Rendi's past in Indonesia. Although before, Sekar had already told their story to Wiliam very honestly to him.

Sekar, who was doing his job as usual at a small event made by Wiliam at his home, was surprised not to play. He was stunned when he saw Wiliam walking slowly towards him with his handsome smile that was able to shake his heart in recent years.

Applause and a standing greeting from Sekar's friends and the two children of Wiliam, making Sekar even more frozen. His heart was stifled. Really, he never thought, would be proposed by someone as great as William. To be honest, he expected it in his little heart.

Sekar immediately turned his body to leave the living room of Wiliam's house. He did not want to, everyone saw him crying because he refused a proposal from someone he loved.

"I accept everything." Said Wiliam before Sekar could step his foot.

Unexpectedly, the two children of Wiliam also persuaded Sekar to want to become a connecting mother for them. Yes, they already know the heart of the father's intention to invite Sekar tonight. And they seem to welcome that.

William is a muslim. And that is also what makes Sekar can fall in love with him. William is someone who obeys in worship, despite being in an environment filled with the sparkling of the world.

"Naina is really happy Mom', can see Mom happy with Mom's family now." Naina's sincere.

"It's your turn now Na! I want to see you happy with your family, too." Sahut Sekar worried.

Naina's smile instantly disappeared. He threw away a little face from Sekar.

"Naina's happy Mom', living like this with Rissa. Rissa is Naina's happiness." Naina said bitterly.

Naina's tears can't be contained. Dean's memories still lingered in his heart perfectly. Dean's departure, really still tormenting him to this day. Although, he knew it would happen.

Sekar could read the giraffe Naina covered. Slowly, Sekar pulled both of Naina's shoulders gently. Naina's face was bowed to cover her tears that flowed.

"What are you hiding from Mother Na? Tell me! I'm still the old Mom." Rayu Sekar's.

Naina can't speak. His heart was still too grievous given the failure of his relationship with Dean. He just looked down with tears flowing endlessly.

Sekar finally pulled Naina's body in his arms. He could feel, Naina's deep cries for something. But he doesn't know what it is.

"Calm Na! Mom's here now." Vote strengthens.

Naina just nodded her head. He really misses his mother's embrace. A hug that really calms and relaxes his heart.

Evening changed in the morning. Sekar and Naina had already returned to welcome the day with renewed vigor after their chat last night.

And this morning, Sekar took Rissa to school. The little girl Naina, could quickly get close to Sekar. He did not like the presence of strangers around him. Perhaps, because of the heart bond that had been formed between Rissa and Sekar first, to make Rissa could easily be close to Sekar now.

And during the day, Naina and Sekar pick Lea, Hera and her family up to the airport. They actually came to the capital immediately to be able to meet with Sekar as soon as possible.

Lea and Hera were still silent. They try to understand the attitude of Naina who has not told it to Sekar.

"Naina has just been left by her lover. Her mother rejects Naina's past and the truth of Rissa's biological father." Answer Hera slowly.

"What do you mean?" Ask Sekar impatiently.

Lea and Hera tell the story of Naina, Delvin and Dean. Naina and Dean are finally defeated by the fact that Rissa is Delvin's daughter.

"Zia is not the daughter of Naina and Delvin." Say Sekar sure.

"What do you mean by Me?" Lea asked, who was starting to get curious.

Sekar also changed to tell about Rendi who has regained his memory and is now living a happy life in Los Angeles with his new wife.

"Mas Rendi?" Hera said in disbelief.

"Yes. She is now enjoying the good times of her marriage." Wiliam Sahut.

Leah and Hera began to understand what Sekar was saying. They begin to remember one thing that is enough to grab their attention when they first meet with Dean.
