A Heart Bond
The Secret of Part 1

Day changes night. The vast expanse of the sky was decorated by the light of millions of stars and the moon. The sounds of the night beasts, also began to dominate the atmosphere.

Time has shown at nine o'clock. Naina still did not feel the slightest sleepiness. The atmosphere of his house was deserted. The other residents of his house, had rested in their respective rooms after a long and beautiful day earlier.

"You haven't slept Na?" Sapa Sekar as he walked up to Naina who was sitting alone on the back porch of her house.

Naina immediately turned to the source of the voice.

"Eh, Mommy? Not Bu'. Why aren't you sleeping, too? Like Daddy, right?" Naina's temptation giggles.

"You're this, there's just nothing." Sahut Sekar was timid as he sat in the chair opposite Naina.

"You might miss Rissa's daddy." Sekar Imbuh.

Naina sighed shortly while smiling lightly.

"Yes Ma'am'. I don't know what dreams Naina had yesterday, until she can be proposed by him." Naina muttered with a straight look towards her garden.

"This was the fruit of your patience all along Na. Are you happy?"

"Very Bu'. Naina is so happy."

Without feeling, the clear circle just came out of Naina's eyelids. Gliding beautifully soaked her smooth cheeks that were currently in a plain state without makeup.

"Mother is happy, if you are happy Na." Answer Sekar haru.

Naina looked at Sekar. They smile at each other's faces. Naina immediately got out of her chair and approached Sekar. He hugged Sekar tightly.

"Thank you, ma'am'."

"For what?"

"Everything."

Naina spills her feelings in Sekar's arms. He cried in the arms of his adoptive mother. I returned the hug warmly and sincerely.

"Look yuk Bu'! It's getting cold." Take Naina after letting go of her embrace.

And then nodded in agreement. They went into the house and sat together in the living room. Naina immediately struggled spoiled on Sekar's shoulder.

"Mom', how did you know that Dean was Rissa's father?" Naina asked curiously.

"Oh that. Rendi who was initially suspicious." Honestly Sekar.

"Sir Rendi?"

"Yes. He was in Indonesia with his wife for a few months. Because there's a family affair here that he has to finish. And that's when he started to get suspicious of Mr and Mrs Jonathan."

"Mom and Dad?"

"Mothers are actually also a little suspicious of their attitude towards you. But I don't want to think anything."

The Flashback

It was quite a hot day in the city with a million busy lives. He was relaxing in his backyard alone. He was a little surprised by the arrival of Rendi who was a little rushed.

"Mbak Sekar, I have something to tell you. It's about Naina and Rissa." Rendi said impatiently as she had just arrived at the William residence in Los Angeles.

"What happened to Naina and Rissa?" Ask Sekar to worry.

"When I was in Indonesia yesterday, several times I saw Naina and Rissa with Madam Jelita. They chatted casually at a dining place." I'm Rendi.

"Oh, that problem. Naina's been telling me about that, too."

"Are you not suspicious? Why is Madam Jelita so familiar with Naina and Rissa? Though he totally rejected Naina's past yesterday."

"And from my observation, Mr and Mrs Jonathan, always meet Naina and Rissa if they return to Indonesia. Isn't that weird?" Imbuh Rendi excited.

Fainthearted. He actually knew about Jonathan and Jelita's one habit from Naina. Naina always told him that.

But, Sekar did not want to think strangely. So he just concluded, that the attitude of Jonathan and Jelita to Naina and Rissa is only as sympathy. Jelita loved Naina like her own daughter.

"I think there's something Mr and Mrs Jonathan are hiding." Said Rendi sure.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know what that is either. It's just, they seem to have a secret that they shut tightly out of the eyes of the world." Obviously Rendi again.

Fainthearted.

Sekar and Rendi turned to Wiliam who had just arrived in the living room, where Sekar and Rendi were talking.

"What's it for?" Ask Sekar confused.

"I agree with Randy. Madam Jelita's attitude is quite strange. So, investigate him. Find anything he might hide. And also, investigate Dean's personal assistant, Niko." William Imbuh.

"Good sir." Reply Rendi obediently.

Finally giving up. He actually also wanted to investigate the strangeness of Jelita's attitude, but he undone. He does not want to make Naina again restless and sad, if until there is something hidden by Jelita that turns out to be related to Naina.

Rendi is assisted by Joe and his men directly investigate Jonathan and Jelita. In fact, Dean did not escape their investigation. Including Niko and Sinta.

After two weeks of investigation, Joe and Rendi bring shocking news to Wiliam and Sekar.

"So, how did it go?"Wiliam asked casually as Joe and Rendi met him and Sekar after breakfast.

"This is Sir."

Joe handed her an envelope with a piece of paper. William opened it immediately.

Wiliam's expression changed instantly. He seemed a little upset when he read the sheet.

"What's up, Mom?" Ask Sekar curiously.

"Rissa is Dean's daughter." Reply William was upset.

"And Mr Dean doesn't know that yet." Imbuh Joe sure.

"Are you sure about that?" Ask Sekar in disbelief.

"Mrs Jelita secretly performed a DNA test between Rissa and Mr. Dean after Miss Naina's null marriage at the time. Mr. Jonathan and Mrs Jelita kept it a secret from her son. In fact, Niko knew this." Obviously Rendi.

"Has right, her attitude was so gentle on Rissa. He even behaves as usual with Naina. So this is the reason." Sekar muttered while reading the results of the DNA test between Rissa and Dean that was read by Wiliam.

"We have to tell this to Naina." William said quickly.

"I'll check the DNA test results first. Only then shall we tell Naina everything." Answer Sekar sure.

"Joe! Get a sample of Dean's DNA for Sekar as soon as possible!" Pinta Wiliam without hesitation.

"Yes Sir."

Joe immediately asked his men who were far away in Germany to get a sample of Dean's DNA secretly. And it didn't take long for Joe to get that. Sekar immediately brought DNA samples belonging to Dean and Rissa to two different hospitals to confirm it.

Two weeks later, the results came out. And the results were the same as the results obtained by Joe and Rendi yesterday. Their DNA matches.

Sekar and Wiliam immediately flew to Germany. Yeah, to Germany. To meet Jonathan and Jelita. They wanted to find out what reason made them keep it a secret from their own son. And also from the eyes of the world.

Flashback Off

"So I mean, Papa and Mama have known about it for a long time?" Sela Naina when Sekar told me.

"Yes. Even Niko knows about it." Answer Sekar sure.

"Niko?" Naina said in disbelief.

Just nod slowly too.

Naina's heart felt very disappointed all of a sudden. He did not expect, the people he trusted, to hide a big secret from him.

"Why didn't Mom tell me right away?"

"Mother wants to know, the reason Mr. Jonathan and Mrs Jelita kept it from the world first. Because I'm sure, you'll ask me that later." Sekar slowly.

Naina's body suddenly went limp. His body leaned perfectly on the back of the sofa he was sitting on with Sekar.

"Why are they keeping that from me, ma'am'? They even know how I tried so hard to find Rissa's real father for Rissa's happiness all along." Naina muttered with a blank look towards the ceiling of her house.

"Calm Na!"

Sekar immediately grabbed Naina's body into his arms. She hugged Naina so warmly. He knew his daughter's heart was very disappointed with her future father-in-law.

Naina finally spills her feelings in Sekar's arms. Her heart was completely disappointed with the attitude of her future in-laws who kept the truth a secret for two years. Even on Niko, whom he met almost every day.

Every thing has a reason to happen. Have a cause and effect that will always follow. It all comes back to us. How we will look at and judge the cause and effect. From what point of view will we judge it. Until finally, everything that happens, will be like how we see and judge it.
