Chapter 55 ~ Become a Paid Husband
Tammy opened the apartment door, confused to see a woman standing right in front of her apartment door. Tammy smiled
"What's up?"
"Is Kevin around?"
Tammy nodded "There, again the same Tammy son. Sorry, who are you?" Tammy frowned confusedly
"Can I come in?"
Tammy nodded "Of course you can, come in!"
Tammy let the woman in. Kevin was surprised to see who was coming
"N-namira?"
"Please sit!" Tammy asked the woman to sit down, she was still confused.
Namira sits elegantly "Why mas? Surprised I know her address?" Namira glanced at Tammy.
Little Tammy ran towards Namira "Mama,"
Namira hugged him "Do you know what the answer is yet?"
Namira again asked Tammy "Sorry, I don't understand, who are you?"
The curious Tammy asked Namira
"Me, Kevin's wife!"
"Wife?"
"Tammy, I can explain everything,"
"Isn't Kevin's wife dead?"
Tammy asked puzzledly, she became uneasy with the woman claiming to be Kevin's wife.
"Yes, Tammy's mother died giving birth to her. I was the sister of Tammy's mother and the family married us. Mom, am I not your wife?"
"You don't look for a commotion here Namira!"
"Why mas? Did your plan to get close to Tammy fail? You're scared!"
Namira asked very seriously "Stop Namira!"
"Sorry, I don't know if you're Kevin's wife. But for sure, my brother Kevin and I have nothing to do!"
Tammy straightened things out, she was afraid that his wife Kevin would misunderstand.
"You're a woman, aren't you? Whether you know or not he has a wife. Why is it so easy to bring a man who is not your husband into your apartment? You don't have a husband, and only live alone with your child. Is it worth bringing a man into the apartment?"
"Enough Namira!"
"Why mas? Was my question wrong? Supposedly, as a good woman it keeps her good name and honor?"
"I'm sorry, I don't know if Kevin actually has a wife. And I always warmly welcome guests who come to the house only. Means to you, right? Even though I don't know you. I welcome you well, don't I?"
Kevin apologized to Tammy, he could not bear to see Tammy in such contempt with his wife.
"Now you know that Kevin has a wife, and a good woman won't disturb other people's households, right?"
Tammy smiled "Sorry, than you said that to you. You better say that to your husband, to better consider you to be his wife. Because I was sad when I found out that his wife was alive but was declared dead,"
Namira looked at Tammy with anger and hatred.
Tammy doesn't know Kevin has a wife, but what makes him upset, why does Kevin's wife blame him? Why not blame her husband?
"Sorry Tammy for Namira's attitude,"
"It's okay, brother, just relax!"
Kevin and Namira leave with little Tammy
Before leaving, Kevin once again apologizes to Tammy for all the mess that happened. He did not expect that Namira who he knew as a quiet person actually did reckless like that
