Sokcho.
A short message he received from Clarisa a while ago. The city located the most east and close to the ocean became John's main destination today. Applying for a few days off at his place of work, John has an appointment to meet someone today. Someone who had taken care of Song Hyuji, and it was his high hopes that this place was Hyuji's escape for two years.
The scent of disinfectant was quite stinging, and the gazes of the people looking towards it were quite enthusiastic behind the tightly locked door. There was also the sound of a loud shout coming out of nowhere, John was shocked and his heart was quite wistful looking at the state of affairs along the passageway towards the room of one of the specialist doctors he would meet this time.
And when he arrived in front of a room with a dark brown wooden door, John knocked slowly. There was a faint sound of permission to enter from inside, and John immediately turned the door knob.
A middle-aged woman sits behind her desk with glasses perched on her nose. The white snelli he wears to cover the sky-colored shirt he uses. The embedded name tag reads 'Na JiHye' followed by a title that shows his current position.
“Good afternoon John Wilson-ssi!” the sapanya, friendly and gentle when it comes to Indra listeners.
John bowed as a salute, then walked over. They shake hands before John sits in front of Na Ji Hye's doctor after getting permission.
“Nona Clarisa contacted me and made an appointment for you, so just tell me your needs!” bright the doctor with a perfect fluffy smile that looks friendly and soothing.
For a moment John was confused to start all from which angle, because everything would be chaotic and he would not get any information about Hyuji if it was wrong to talk.
“I, I mean, you once treated a patient named Song Hyuji right?” john asked gently, worried that the doctor would reject him immediately.
“Song Hyuji?” ask doctor Na to John with a slightly wrinkled forehead, and John knows if the doctor starts to look.
“Yes, Song Hyuji! I came here to ask, did Song Hyuji come here again?”
Doctor Na weighed all that would be the answer. He lowered his glasses slightly, looking at John from behind the gap created.
“Why are you asking about my patient? It is my duty to keep all personal data of my patients confidential!”
John knows it's a code of conduct. But John won't give up so soon, he wants to find Hyuji.
“I am his family, more precisely the sister of Song Hyuji!” john answered without a word of hesitation. I hope Doctor Na believes it.
“If you're his family, then why ask me that secret? You should have known all about your sister, right?”
It should be like that, but complicated things that no one knows to be quite a real obstacle.
“I am not a family living in the same house or can meet him every day!” timpal John was pounding a little, afraid if he really failed to get the information.
“What do you mean?” see doctor Na looking for an explanation.
At first glance, Doctor Na nodded in understanding. “But still, it's my patient's secret! And I have the right to refuse to disseminate information to anyone who does not carry the permission of the concerned party!”
The conversation went on for so long, and convincing Doctor Na was very difficult. John almost gave up on one last statement. “Sir Hyuji disappeared, he left the house! Two years ago.”
Doctor Na thumped her eyes when she heard that. However, it was John who was more surprised after hearing what the doctor said. “But he didn't come here after the last therapy, about five years ago!”
John's heart stopped beating. He was completely deadlocked after hoping to get a single piece of information from the person who had once been where Hyuji poured out his mess.
“He didn't come here at all after that!” doctor Na gave an explanation.
Jemari John clenched tightly over his thigh, not knowing where to go. The information stops here, and there is nothing else he can ask for information about Hyuji's current whereabouts.
Then, with a trembling body he walked back to reach the car parked in the hospital basement. His feelings were chaotic and his heart seemed to be torn to formless. He recalled how to get through the days with Hyuji, until the beginning of their meeting.
John slammed his body on the back of the steering chair, closed tightly while biting his lower lip strongly from feeling hopeless. Then in the next second, he hit the steering wheel hard enough, shuffled his mane to a mess, and groaned full of disappointment that he was either aiming for whom.
“Actually where are you now, noona?” john murmured with tears that began to melt past his eyelids. “Oh, my God! Why did it end like this?!” he screamed pretty hard in the car. His voice was trembling and bitter. John no longer knows what he has to do now, his brain is too full to think of other solutions that clearly no longer have hope.
Just as dusk began to greet the sky, orange that looks so beautiful behind the horizon, John stopped the pace of his car on the side of the road directly facing the beach. His empty gaze just circulated, exploring every part and corner of the ocean that stretched out before his eyes.
His eyes were a little swollen, and the tip of his nose was reddened because it had just stopped the wistful.
The guardrail made of wood was the place to put the weight of both arms. From here he can summarize the twilight as well as the sweet memories with Hyuji that revolved endlessly in his head. He saw there were rocks that jutted towards the sea part that was quite long.
Either only his feelings, or there is a bond that makes his heart pound. John's gaze was fixed on the figure standing far away at the end of the rocks like the bridge. Not so obvious, but he can still encapsulate a small back far away with a mane along under the shoulders that flies with the wind.
“Noona?” he muttered trying to guess. And he was very sure because Hyuji also liked the sea, just like him. There was one thing that made John laugh.
"Oh no no no...” he said in a panic while taking steps to run towards the girl who had disappeared from John's sight.
With mixed feelings, John lunged at some large rocks that came to the surface to reach the place where the long-spirited girl was—Hope not too late. But as his legs stood at the end with gasping breaths, he witnessed the unexpected.
John covered his mouth with both palms, his eyes even perfectly patterned. And with the rest of the hope left behind, John sighed.
“Yes Lord..”[]
