On Sunday morning, Lina and Lina had already asked about how the school was. The brothers do not want to be transferred to a school in this city. Kirana began to worry, until today Zidan no contact or just ask the news of his two daughters.
“Why the hell, Ma? Why don't we go home, papa. Tomorrow we go to school.” Rina whines slowly.
Kirana couldn't possibly explain her relationship with their poor papa. As much as possible he will keep what is really going on.
“Later yes,” sahut Kirana slowly.
After the short chat, Lina and Rina are invited by Rahma to the market to buy something.
Sit quietly behind the house, staring at the expanse of mango trees that are growing dense and are fruiting.
His eyes looked far away, recalling the first introduction with Zidan when they were both still in school at the SMK bench.
Zidan and Kirana meet while both are participating in the district olympic competition. From the meeting finally the seeds of feeling grew in the hearts of both.
The decision to marry young is made despite the opposition that occurs between the two families.
After her marriage, Kirana first entered university and became a Zidan-level sister. All of that was done considering that both of their parents had lost responsibility, they both had to look for all the expenses themselves. Everything is done through an easy process. Falling awake they pass together until they can get to the point now.
When everything has been achieved, why exactly the ordeal came from their marriage.
Kirana's daydreams crumpled upon hearing the knocking sound of the door. He rushed forward and opened it. His eyes were fixed on the figure of a man who had almost a week without news.
“Kira,” said the man with nervous shaking lips.
“Hai, Mas.” Kirana smiled faintly and opened the door wide, letting Zidan enter without being welcome. His attitude was calmer and like nothing had ever happened.
“How are you doing Kira?” tanya Zidan replied a nod by Kirana. “Home is quiet?” he continued to observe the entire house that has not changed even though almost half a year has never been visited.
“Mama take Rina and Lina to market. Papa is still in the store,” explains Kirana. “Still remember me and your son yes, I thought you forgot,” he continued with a cynical smile.
Zidan looked down, I don't know what he was thinking.
“How was your first night? It must be fun to contact just not had time.”
Zidan's heart was pounding hard. His head could only be bowed while thinking about the explanation that would be thrown. When his head looked up, the eyes of the two met. Zidan tried to stare at Kirana's bead of eyes intensely, trying to dive into her heart. He found no anger in the eyes of his wife.
“Sorry, Kira,” says Zidan.
Kirana shrugged indifferently.
Late, if Zidan intends to apologize it should have been done in the beginning. Such apologies will not change anything. The reality is that the man has already betrayed their marriage. Even more painful, Kirana must accept the fact that she is not the only wife of Zidan Pranadipa.
“Sorry you can't change the situation.” Kirana answered firmly. “Now you are not just my husband,” he continued in a stifled voice.
“I'm sorry Kira. This is all I do for my time to the parents.”
Kirana chuckled softly. What kind of reason is that.
It's bullshit!
“Oh!” said Kirana cynically, “do I have to be grateful or vice versa? Have a devoted husband to parents but by hurting his wife.”
Again and again Zidan was only able to bow to Kirana's words. To be honest it was hard for him to choose, but Zidan believed that his happiness depended on the happiness of the parents.
“I came to pick you up home. The kids go to school tomorrow, right? In the afternoon we go home yes,” said Zidan expectantly.
“Hm.” Kirana cleared her throat, passed towards the kitchen and returned with a cup of coffee.
Zidan smiled faintly. “Still.”
Zidan doesn't know what to do. Kirana's attitude that is silent and does not show anger is disturbing. Many times the man stole a glance and looked at the figure of the wife who only displayed a flat look.
“What's up? Why should you steal a glance, you can look at me if you want,” Kirana said without showing expression. His face that was usually decorated with a smile was now no longer shown.
Zidan shook his head slowly. “Better you sort out what needs to be brought. I want to sit in front while waiting for the kids.”
Without answering Kirana passed and immediately entered the room. The door was locked so Zidan couldn't get inside.
The frail body was leaning against the wall and slumped as the heart wound felt. The man could have come without sin, as if nothing had ever happened between them.
If only an apology could turn back the clock and make things right, Kirana would gladly do it. Pretending to be strong it turns out it takes extra effort .. and from this moment on he must get used to it.
Kirana immediately tidied up the necessary items and immediately came out when she heard the mother talking to Zidan.
Kirana's footsteps stopped before reaching the door. His eyes caught Rina and Lina who were beside Zidan. The faces of his two daughters look so happy, their smiles so wide maybe because they miss the figure of the father.
This is what Kirana fears. How the two feel if they know the father who is always proud turns out to have betrayed them. Before her feet stepped Kirana rubbed the corner of her watery eyes.
“Rina, Lina, you guys take a shower first huh. After that we come with Papa home.” Both nodded happily.
Rahma immediately asks Kirana and Zidan to re-enter the house. From his attitude Zidan had already caught that his in-laws wanted to talk about what happened.
It turns out Zidan's guess was wrong. Rahma invited him in just to talk about busyness and did not intend to discuss about his household. Maybe Kirana didn't tell me anything, more precisely not yet.
Kirana chose to dodge and returned to the room, letting her mother and husband talk.
Zidan who was stared at by Rahma looked nervous.
“Hey, why are you nervous Zidan?” Rahma smiled at her daughter-in-law's behavior.
“Papa how are you, Ma?” tanya Zidan switched the conversation.
“We are good, precisely Mama see you guys are not good.” Rahma fishing.
Zidan smiled the wrong way his hands scratched the nape that did not itch. “Mama mostly watch soap operas,” he said.
Rahma laughed when she heard Zidan's wobble. “Iya. Mama often see soap operas wife's conscience, which the woman can only cry when oppressed by her husband. Mama to wonder that woman really stupid, why also nangisin husband like that. I've been made to bleed, uh at the end of it once apologize to want to go back again.”
Suddenly Zidan's heart was beating hard. I don't know why Rahma's guyonan sounds like a subtle innuendo.
“The name is also love, Ma,” said Zidan nervously.
“Love can, stupid don't,” argue Rahma again.
Zidan swallowed the hard-earned saliva, his body bristling at the words. This chat seemed so sensitive and made him uneasy.
Suddenly Zidan is shocked by Rahma's hand touching his shoulder. The middle-aged woman looked at him in silence.
“Mama doesn't want you guys like that. If indeed one day you do not want or already do not love Kirana anymore, you better take her home and deliver her to a good home. Whatever happens we will still accept it.” Rahma speaking seriously made Zidan even more guilty.
“Mama don't say that. Doain is good for me and Kirana.” Zidan turned his face.
Rahma nodded before saying, “Mama is always the best doain for you. Please don't hurt Kirana.”
Zidan did not dare to answer he just nodded his head slowly while muttering an apology in his heart.
