"It may be a little sudden, Kanie-kun .. But would you like to join the theme park this Sunday?"
Indeed, it was sudden.
A transfer student he barely knows shows an ancient shotgun on his head in their class at school. It's nothing if it's not "sudden".
Kanie Seiya froze for exactly three seconds, then whispered back :
"Entertainment park?"
"Yes"
"Why?"
"I can't tell you yet."
"And ... Why that rifle?"
"For you cannot run."
It was a beautiful pistol, white and coated with intricate metal ornaments. It should have been quite heavy, yet he held it steadily, his muzzle firmly stuck to my head.
Transfer student – Sento Isuzu, right? She has vague memories of him from the way other people in her class talk about him. She is slender with shiny hair and big eyes; flawless skin; features calm, cool; with full lips, soft.
She was the perfect beauty (or perhaps, if not for the shotgun).
She is the type of girl that any man would jump at on occasion for a date (or, if not for a shotgun).
It's flattering to have a girl on the school talk since her arrival applying for her (or perhaps, etc.).
"Ah ... firstly, we want to make sure we're on the same page for some things" Seiya said.
"Process."
"Are you using that weapon and implied deadly force in an attempt to suppress my – Kanie Seiya – to meet your request?"
"Yes" he said.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Your request, then, is to 'join me at the amusement park.' In other words, you asked me out on a date, under the threat of armed retaliation. Is this interpretation valid?"
"really. Your response, if you want?"
Sento Isuzu kept his eyes fixed on Seiya and gave him a short nod.
"Well, I have to think about it …"
Gunshots were heard in his ears. The musket ball placed a radial fracture in the wall behind Seiya. He shot again, and the second shot went through the wall. So it's not a toy; it's real? And how could he fire such a muzzle-loading weapon multiple times? As Seiya stood there, shaken, he felt the hot muzzle pressing down hard on his temple once again.
"Your Response, if you will."
After such a pause forever, Seiya concluded, ". I will go." After all, what choice did he have? What other answers can be given?
She is in the third semester of her freshman year of high school after this beautiful and mysterious girl moves into her class. She has been mobbed by people who ask her out since the beginning, but she refuses everyone – to choose, in the end, the high-achieving student, Kanie Seiya.
In theory, he should be happy with the situation, but that only applies if the girl in question is normal. The gun is a deal breaker.
Seiya was happy to be popular among women; it added to his reputation. But he hates the idea of being tied to one woman because it goes against his personal style.
In fact, Kanie Seiya is a narcissist; a tried and true egomaniac. Given his circumstances, it was practically unavoidable that he would become arrogant; he had a sharp mind that placed him, academically at the top of the class. He was naturally handsome, with subtlety to spare. He is also very athletic, has a wide array of talents, and can generally succeed in anything he thinks.
It was bad enough that every time he went out of town, if he happened to see himself on a reflective surface, he found himself nonchalantly combing his hair and saying to himself, "Still looking good, still, Seiya."
If a boy in his class tells him "You're lucky, Kanie. The value is very good," he replied, "Of course. I have a superior mind, after all."
If a girl in his class told him, "Kanie-kun, you're so handsome," he would reply, "You don't have to say that to me. That's an obvious fact."
That's why I don't have friends and girlfriends. But I'm not lonely. Not lonely at all, shit – for a genius (?) My caliber, solitude is inevitable.
So, why now, is she the great and brilliant – Kanie Seiya – forced to date a dangerous and mysterious woman like her?
