V1 - Chapter 5 Epilogue
It was the first day of April, and it felt really like spring.
In the morning, just before the park opens. After announcing some general policy directions for the new year, Seiya gave various department heads more detailed explanations about their next goals. Then, he went to the roof garden.
Latifah waited there as usual.
No... not ‘as usual,’ he reminds himself; for him, this will be their first meeting.
“It's nice to meet you. Ah... Kanie Seiya-sama.” she greeted him awkwardly.
“Yes. Nice to meet you.” said Seiya, despite her strained smile.
“I've heard a lot about you,” he continued. “I was told that last year, you saved the park from a really sad situation.”
He no longer remembered it, he realized with regret. The last few weeks, she told me about her prophecy and kissed me, a promise I made with her years ago.
His attitude too, although not cold, looked disinclined.
“I am not a savior, but.. I will do what I can,” said Seiya. “I hope I can cooperate with you.” An indescribable feeling of sadness whispered to him.
“Yes, I feel the same way.” he told her with a polite smile.

After leaving the park, Seiya headed for his office, in the public affairs building, when he saw a commotion in the PR department office. It was Isuzu, Moffle, Macaron, and Tiramii, and the murders that seemed to hang in the air.
“What happened here?” he wants to know.
“Ahh... Kanie-kun,” Isuzu greeted him. “We've discussed the profiles of the cast for the park's official website.”
“And.?” he said, demanding more information.
“We encountered various problems,” details. “Entri ‘favorite food’ Moffle, for example—ia does not want to enter anything other than croquettes.”
Moffle grunting. “Well, that's right, fumo. Croquette is the best. My favorite lately is a croquet snack sold at a place called ‘Saigo-tei’ in Komazawa and Nakano.”
“But you're a Sweet Fairy, right?” Isuzu. “After all, there are already mascot characters in famous manga who love croquettes. It already exists.”
“Rrgh...” Moffle complains. “Then make it dorayaki, fumo.”
“It also already exists,” she showed. “It was the favorite meal of the character known to everyone in Japan.”
“Grrr..”.
“Then there is Tiramii,” Isuzu moved. “For ‘dislike,’ you filled it with ‘tikus.’ That's not acceptable. It was very famous as ‘dislike’ of the characters I mentioned earlier.”
“T-But I really like them, mii!” Tiramii. “I was in a ruined pub in Shimo-kitazawa when I met a brown rat as big as a cat! That's traumatic, mii!” All over Tiramii's body floated in fear. Moffle glanced at him, but he ignored him.
“Although so, rats are not an option,” said Isuzu indifferently. “It's already there.”
“Ugh..”
Macaron puffed his cheeks in annoyance. “T-But I'm good at it, ron! I can build a Grade Master without a guide! I even have Ebikawa Kanetake's signature, ron!”
“There is another character who is famous for building Gundam,” Isuzu told him sharply. “You know, Sergeant this and that. It already exists. Request denied.”
“Oh, come on..”.
Seiya, looking passively, managed to understand his case. But since Isuzu seems to be handling it well, he might not be able to interfere.
At that time, the three mascots united in protest.
“You are evil, mii! All you say is ‘this is already there, it's already there!’”
“Yes! It is these things that make us who we are, fumo.”
“If there's a ‘ already there’ around here, it's your weapon, ron!”
“I...” Isuzu gasped for his accusation.
“That's right, mii!” Tiramii accused harshly. “A musket? Please do! Just be right!”
“Moffu,” Moffle agree. “It appeared on the show ‘witch girl’ recently...”
“Ya, yes! That masterpiece!” Macaron enthusiastic. “I have the whole series in blu-ray, ron!”
They said simultaneously, “It's already there!”
“...Ngh.” Isuzu lowered his gaze, his shoulders trembling, but the three continued:
“The three of us can at least hide it, fumo. But musket, you know..”.
“As the main visual element? Pretty pathetic, ron..”.
“It was like a beautiful idol who failed to try to achieve success by cosplaying as a character he barely knew, mii.”
“Casual, Sento..” Seiya warns. “You also stop.”
But it was too late for Seiya to stop him. Tears formed in the corner of his eyes, Isuzu pulled out the rifle that was spoken of. “Then I will show you the power of the rifle that ‘there is already this’!” he yelled.
“Henti—” he started protesting. He shoots.
Macaron was hit by a bullet ‘pain from propping your little finger up to the dressing table,’ and fell in pain to the floor. Horrified, Moffle and Tiramii try to escape, but Isuzu keeps shooting nonstop. Tricen, who had just passed by, was hit by a wild shot. Tiramii uses Seiya as a shield, but Isuzu keeps shooting…
Maybe I should just quit after two weeks, Seiya thought to himself in anger. A full year with these people? That's ridiculous!
Seiya had set himself on the floor, as the office turned into a war zone, having regretted what he had already taken.
