Amagi Brilliant Park's

Amagi Brilliant Park's
V1 - Chapter 2 Part 4

Seiya got a job that night too. He decided there was no need to bother going home; he just called Aisu so he knew he was going to sleep outside tonight, that's all.

Isuzu prepared a workspace on the fourth floor of the old administration building, backstage. It was an ordinary room with little more than a regular office desk, a folding chair, and a few bookshelves; it looked less like a workroom, and more like an interrogation room than a police drama movie.

“This is all the documents you asked for.” said Isuzu, as he placed a thick stack of papers on his desk. Seiya, who was reading the financial documents, replied, “Sure.” and no more.

“There are other things you need?” tanyakanya.

“No.”

“If you want to break—”

“There's a sofa in the hallway, right? Leave a blanket or something for me.” he said without being distracted, and silently turned the page.

He wants to really understand the state of taman— its financial condition, its facilities, its attractions, the performance of the cast of— before tomorrow morning. Then, somehow, he had to come up with a plan.

The arrival of the garden was more or less in line with what Seiya had expected. During this season—early March, when it is still too cold to deserve to be called spring—the average arrival is 1,400. He compares the data to an annual average, and it seems that no matter how hard they work, the most they can get in two weeks is about 25,000.

However, they need 100,000!

No idea came up. Surely, even so, there should be a way out somewhere. He felt like a man trapped inside a collapsed tunnel, looking for a hole from which fresh air came.

Before Isuzu left the room, he spoke again. “Kanie-kun.”

“Ya?”

“...Thank you.”

“Sure.” reply without attention. He was so fixated on his reading that he didn't even see his face.

Family restaurants along Fujo Street

Moffle, Macaron, and Tiramii arrive at the family restaurant, ‘Goonies,’ in the city. Naturally, after such a meeting, no one was interested in going to the yakitori bar for a drink. Instead, they ate their own crab cream croquettes, keema curries, and doria meat, drank a pretty bad coffee with free refills, and discussed their situation with a grim expression.

“...Hmm. There doesn't seem to be much good hope, mii.” Tiramii whispered as he tapped and swiped his smartphone. The little Pomerania mascot has been browsing in earnest on ‘Plush Navi,’ job search site for mascots, for a while.

“You're just looking inside the city, right? Try across the country, ron.” Macaron lamb mascot chiming.

“But I want to stay in the city, mii.

“You mean, you don't want to leave the woman whose email you just got, ron?”

Tiramii's seduction tendency has become its innate. That was the only reason Macaron could imagine for what he wanted to remain within the city.

“There are many good amusement parks out there if you see, ron. They rented the old exhibition site very cheaply, slipped a little under the table to the local authorities, and basically ended up in a fortune.”

“Really? Wow, Macaron, you're so smart about money, mii.”

“Only an example of a disease that penetrates the Japanese economy, ron.”

“It sounds very deadly, mii!”

Macaron glanced at Moffle.

Moffle barely said two words since the incident in taman—since her argument with Kanie Seiya—and now just stared in silence out the window. He looked sullen and lethargic. Even after receiving those croquettes, her favorite food, she only ate about half before pushing her plate away.

Macaron wanted to say something to her, but nothing intelligent came to his mind. So, with no other choice, he continued his bland exchange with Tiramii.

“...However,” he advises Tiramii, “forget the woman and look for a new border.”

“Hmm... but I also do not want to lose the beautiful ass Takami..” Tiramii protested.

“When exactly does Takami's ass belong to you, ron?”

“I mean, in terms of future ideals.. I want to puff with him one day, mii..”.

‘Puff’ is a Maple Land word that refers to a specific action. We won't reveal the details here, but just say, it's not something you would do in a civilized company.

“...Oh! I'm also a fan of Melody, mii. So I really want to stay around her.”.

‘Melody’ in question is ‘Melody Shibazaki,’ a football team that hails from the city next to Amagi. They went quite far in the deciding game last year, so they are quite popular.

“That's right, the opening match starts soon, ron... Tiramii, if I get a ticket, how much will you pay?”

“Macaron, you always do this, mii. You also sold AK47 tickets to Wanipii at a price that would make the scalper blush.”

“That's the handling charge. Legitimate compensation for my efforts, ron.”

At that moment, Moffle stood up. “...I'll be home, fumo.”

“Oh? But Moffle, are you okay, mii?”

“Am I okay? I don't really know, fumo..” Moffle left his payment on the table, then left the family restaurant itself.
