Invitational guests are coming. Dinda and Fahri were busy welcoming the people. Elvano also met people and talked to some of the invitations he knew.
Meanwhile, Anta, she was in the family gathering room before the event began.
"Sir Devita," Sapa Tika, Mother of Dinda and Dika, the younger sister of Haris. She was very close to Devita. Unlike Yuli who is always cynical and does not like Devita.
"Oh, dear sister-in-law." Devita hugged Tika. While Haris, she was talking to Tika's husband, not far from where Devita and Tika were standing.
"Oh yes, Tik. This is my son-in-law, Vano's wife."
Tika looked at Anta and smiled sweetly. He extended his hand to the girl and was replied by Anta.
"I'm Tika, Aunt Elvano."
"I'm Anta, aunt."
"Pretty."
"Still beautiful my ghost, brother." Yuli comes suddenly and immediately interrupts, approaching with her daughter-in-law Selly. Yuli's voice made the other family members in the room stare at them. Directly to Anta.
"July?" Tika did not think her sister would come. He is usually more concerned with his affairs with his socialite friends than with family matters.
"Hi, Brother. How are you?" His word.
"I'm good." Answer Tika.
"Hi, Sister-in-law, how are you?" Yuli looked at Devita with a mocking look.
Devita responded with a slanted smile. "good. I'm very good."
Yuli smiled cynically then looked at Anta from top to bottom with a condescending look. But, in her heart she admitted, Anta was very beautiful.
"Your son-in-law is pretty. But unfortunately, it's not equivalent to our family." His word. Anta was silent.
"See my daughter-in-law!" Yuli pulled Selly next to her. Selly smiled arrogantly in front of everyone. "He is equal to our family in every way. Her education, wealth, and beauty. Your son-in-law, what can you be proud of?"
"July!!" Haris did not like his sister's attitude.
"Sister, I'm telling you the truth. Your daughter-in-law from the low. How could he be in our family? That wife of yours, is she blind or is she a lowly taste? Choose a daughter-in-law like this girl."
"What's wrong? I seemed to like Anta when I first met." Tika said with a smile.
"Curtain! This girl is sneaky. He's good at making people sympathize with him."
"Huh! You think your daughter's very good, Yuli?" Devita smiled cynically. When compared to Yuli, Devita knows more about her sister-in-law's daughter-in-law.
"of course! She's beautiful and obedient. Most of all, he loves my son Tommy sincerely. Not because of the treasure."
"Hehe... You're not as smart as I thought you were. Know it? Selly doesn't love your son."
"Don't just talk, Devita!!"
"July! He's your brother-in-law!" Sharis Assert. He didn't like anyone yelling at his wife.
"Sister..."
"Selly is a two-faced girl. When he's with you, maybe he'll vilify me. But, did you ever think, why is Selly acting so well in front of me? He's interested in my son Elvano. He's being nice to me for trying to get Elvano's attention. And you know what? He's got another guy out there. Is that what you say good daughter-in-law?"
Yuli fell silent and gulped her saliva. What did Devita say? Really embarrassed him. But, Yuli did not want to look weak and lose to Devita.
"You think I believe? Or maybe everything you mentioned is your son-in-law's nature."
Degs...
Anta straightened her head looking at Yuli. His eyes were drawn by the wound on Yuli's speech. How could the woman accuse him without any evidence?
"Why are you staring at me? Is my word right? You're a cheap girl..."
"Aante!" Elvano's cold voice pierced the hearing senses of everyone in the room. Not a clash, but able to make all shut up.
Elvano approached and stood in front of his aunt. "Just business aunt! Don't bother my wife!" Elvano turned around, clasped Anta's hand and led her away from the room.
Dinda and Fahri stare disappointedly at Yuli as well as Devita. Fortunately, the room was closed enough that no guests could see or hear their debate.
The event began after Dinda and Fahri returned from the room. Everything returned to normal, as if nothing had happened between Devita and Yuli. The event also went as planned. Until it was time for the dance. Dinda and Fahri were the opening act. Both look good and love each other.
After a while the paired invited guests are welcome to join the dance.
Elvano who sat two seats with Anta glanced at his wife. The girl was staring in admiration at the people who were dancing. Sometimes he talked to Bi Ijah who was sitting next to him and was holding Evan.
Anta shakes. "No way, Ma." The answer. When he was in high school, Anta studied. But he doesn't really master it. Instead of answering can but not completely can, better not only Anta deskwab.
Dika walked while smiling towards Anta. The man stood right in front of Anta and extended his hand.
"Come, dance with me!"
Plaque... Slowly Elvano brushed off Dika's hand.
"Can't! She's my wife. I have to dance with you." Said, cold.
Without saying much, Elvano grabbed Anta's hand and pulled her slowly. The actions of Elvano suddenly made Devita, Haris and Bi Ijah smile. Tika and her husband smiled at her. So did Dinda and Fahri who accidentally saw them.
"M-Mas," Anta wasn't sure about dancing. Want to escape, but Elvano's grip is too tight.
"Follow it out."
Degs...
Anta's body stiffened as Elvano wrapped her hands around her waist and pulled her closer. It erodes the distance between them.
"Mas, I can't dance."
"I know, you were studying High School. Don't lie to me."
"How did you know?"
"It's none of your business."
"But I've forgotten."
"Follow my movements." Reply Elvano.
Anta can't do anything. All he did was obey Elvano and follow Elvano's every move. However, he continued to avoid seeing Elvano. As for Elvano, his gaze was not a second apart from Anta. His gaze kept on the girl. Elvano's heart raced fast as well as Anta. Before, they had never been this close.
A thumping mood enveloped Anta and Elvano. However, one sentence that came out of Elvano's mouth changed it.
"You're beautiful, Violla."
Degs...
Anta's movement immediately stopped. Slowly he took his hand off Elvano. That triggered Elvano to come to a stop with a shriveled forehead.
Gleck...
Elvano gulped down his saliva. He knows now. He made a mistake. "My queue..."
"I'm going to the toilet, Mom."
Without raising her face to look at Elvano, Anta left the man just like that. Instead of going to the toilet, Anta walked out of the house through the side door. Her steps led her to the backyard. Unfortunately, he instead meets Selly and the two women before arriving in the backyard.
"Bah... Aunt Devita's favorite son-in-law." Selly exclaimed with an evil smile. The woman and her two friends blocked Anta's path.
"Sorry, madam. Let me walk."
"Ck. Ck. Ck. Aunt Devita's daughter-in-law was brave too." Selly. "Specification lesson, may."
"Sell, Sell." Said Selly's two friends.
Anta gulped her saliva as she looked at the expression on Selly's face which turned coldly frightening.
"Mr..."
Byur...
Sally splashed the drink she held onto the dress Anta was wearing. Not only Selly, his two friends also doused Anta. Then there was laughter from the three women.
"Felt! Come on, let's go!"
Selly and her two friends passed from before Anta. The girl stared at the dress she was wearing now wet from the chest to the stomach. Even his face was slightly splashed.
Tests...
A single tear escaped his eyes. He was sick when he was treated like this. But, he felt even more pain when he remembered Elvano who mentioned the name of another woman when she was with him.
With gontai steps, Anta headed for the backyard. Sitting in the available chair, Anta took her breath and wiped her tears that did not stop flowing. He is aware now, he has more feelings for Elvano. He loves that man.
"You should take care of your heart, Anta. Your expectations are too high. Between you and Elvano, there's only a deal. Not love." Anta muttered.
