Annanta

Annanta
Truth or Dare

Elvano looked at Anta who was asleep on her side with her arms that kept hugging Evan. Anta was completely asleep, either out of fear of his words or indeed out of exhaustion.

Elvano rubbed Anta's hair softly. He nodded and kissed his wife. After that, he hurried to lie down on the empty bed, to the right of Evan.

"Papa dear Evan. Papa also loves Mama Anta. We will forever be together like this" Elvano said, closing her eyes.

At 7pm, everyone is getting ready for a small party. Dinda and Anta are in charge of grilling meat. While the parents chatted while looking after their grandchildren. Evan is quite a henchman when playing with Ara in the company of Bi Ijah and Grandpa and Grandma. So that Anta and Dinda can freely complete their work.

"Can you roast? Could be burnt again the meat later." Selly stared cynically at Anta. His voice was still making Dinda who was standing next to Anta feel annoyed.

"Better Anta, can help. Ye? You know how hard it is!" said Dinda did not lose ketus.

"Dinda, she's your sister-in-law!" Tommy doesn't like it a bit when his wife is like that.

"No need to be reminded, Tom. I won't forget that Selly is my sister-in-law" said Dinda. "Come on, Anta, just get on with our work."

"Yes, ma'am." She smiled at Dinda.

Dika came while carrying an empty plate that would be filled with cooked meat baked by Anta and Dinda. The man looked at Selly who was standing near Anta.

"Ngapain Sally's sister here? Not afraid of his hands burning?" said Dika with his innocent pretentious face. Made Dinda and Anta smile.

"My fault here? I also want to learn to cook like this." Selly looked at Dika with a sweet smile. He was always like that when dealing with Dika and Elvano. But not to Dinda. Tommy doesn't matter either because Selly always says, "Dika and Elvano are house people. So, when it gets support from them, Selly's position will be strong. While Dinda, she is married and becomes an outsider. There's no right for him to interfere." that's what Tommy holds.

"If you learn to cook, Om Haris can build a new villa" said Dika.

"Why?"

"Because this villa is on fire."

Pfftts... Dinda and Anta almost let go of their laughter. But as much as possible they hold him. But, Dinda was not as strong as Anta. He laughed off.

"Haha... There's just you, brother." Dinda patted his sister's shoulder gently. "But you're right too. This villa could be on fire because of him."

Sally pouted while looking at the laughing Dinda and Dika who started to chuckle. His gaze turned glaring as he stared at Anta.

"You're ngeselin!" Selly stomped her feet and walked over to her husband. He hugged Tommy tightly while pursing his lips.

"Didih, the lips of a duck-kayak sook an in the monyong-monyongin. May the monyong continue, not change as before."

"Sir, don't do it ah!" reprimand Anta with her soft voice.

"Listen Brother, advisedatin in-law. Don't keep julid the same person," said Dika.

"God, I'm not like you."

"Hehehe... Eleven and twelve are the two of us."

Both brother and sister chuckled, and their hardness was contagious to Anta.

Elvano and Fahri who had just arrived, were confused to see the three people chuckling. They then see Tommy calming his wife, then look back at Anta, Dinda and Dika. They can guess what really happened.

Fahri. Must've done something to Selly. If not his wife, it would have been his sister-in-law, Dika.

Unlike Fahri who smiled happily, Elvano was silent with a cold face. He did not like to see Anta laughing because of Dika. She jealous.

"Come there!" fahri's invitation was only met with Elvano's nod. The man approached, but not Anta. She turned towards Selly and her husband. He sat down, but his eyes continued to focus on looking at Anta who was still laughing with Dinda, Fahri and Dika.

***

Anta has just returned from escorting the sleeping Evan to Haris and Devita's room. The two parents wanted their grandchildren to sleep with them. Actually, Anta slightly objected if Evan slept with her in-laws. Given that he had almost a week to separate the bed with Elvano, it would be awkward to go back to sleep alone with Elvano. But, he could not refuse her in-laws request.

"Well, Ta?" dinda asked as Anta arrived and sat down next to her.

"Already, mbak."

"I'm so glad Evan. Can be comfortable with women like you. Don't you pellet that kid again!" cetus Selly.

"Pellets, pellets. Is it still kayak time?" upset Dika.

"Who knows, right? Chick kam—"

"If nothing is done, we better take a break. It's almost 12teen, "cut Elvano. He was really not eager to continue it anymore. He admitted to being jealous when he saw Anta laughing because of a joke that was thrown.

"What the hell? It's almost, not yet twelve" said Dinda.

"Dinda's right. We enjoy a free day without this job" Fahri said.

"I also agree. We rarely get together like this." Tommy looked at Elvano, then glanced at Anta. Since arriving at the villa earlier, he often stole glances staring at Anta. He was good at hiding his attitude when he was with his wife Selly.

"Honey, you drank a se— drink"

"Sttt. I brought this bottle from home. I don't drink that kind of drink either. It's not a bottle of that drink either." Fahri breathed a sigh of relief hearing his wife's explanation.

"Then?" Elvano raised next to his eyebrows, asking for more explanation from Dinda.

"Hehehe... I want us to play ToD."

"Yes already. Who's afraid?" cetus Dika's.

"I'm not afraid either" Fahri said.

"We are too" Selly and Tommy replied simultaneously.

"Elvano?"

"Come along, I'm coming!" elvano replied calmly. Dinda smiled hearing that. Suddenly he was happy to hear Elvano's answer.

Dinda looked at Anta. "How, Anta?"

Anta fell silent. He doesn't know that game. He had heard and seen some young people playing it. What he fears are the questions or challenges he will accept.

"Anta?"

"If I don't play, can I?"

"Can't!!" Dinda and Selly answered simultaneously. This is the first time the two have been together. But just a few seconds. The two then threw each other cynical gazes, then looked at Anta.

"Can't not come! Got to play! It's delicious of you. Want to get away from us?" pissed Selly.

"You can't not come. That's not fair."

Anta took a breath, then nodded. "Yes, Anta's playing."

Dinda smiled happily, but Selly smiled wickedly. He has prepared questions and challenges for Anta.

"Now, I'm starting to turn the bottle around" said Dinda with pleasure.

The bottle turned and stopped in front of Dika. The man glared at his sister who turned the bottle.

"Don't look at my wife, Dika!" Fahri.

"Yes, Bang." Dika with a lethargic face.

"I asked him?" elvano. Dika gulped. Surely Elvano would be very annoying.

"Truth or Dare?"

Dika was silent for a moment then replied while looking into Elvano's eyes. "I choose Dare."

"Okey, listen to me carefully. Promise in front of them all, if you will not approach Anta with other intentions than because she is your sister-in-law. Keep your distance from Anta if there are no interests that really matter!"

Dika took his breath. He had expected that something like this would happen. He got up and looked at the people at the table.

"I promise, I won't approach Anta with any other intention than because she's my sister-in-law. I will also keep my distance from Anta if there are no interests that really matter!" dika said, then sat back down. The wrong look he threw at Evan.

"Okey, now we go on again." Dinda started turning the bottle back and stopped in front of Elvano.

Dinda's face was straight. This is what he had been waiting for since the beginning of the game. "I asked" said Dinda.

"Hm." Dehem Elvano's.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Dare."

Dinda's getting smoother. It's really spirit. God is paving the way for him with Elvano choosing challenge over honesty.

"Because you've chosen it, you can't change it anymore."

"Hm."

"Challenge, kiss Anta's lips for ten minutes!"

Degs...
