Anta with slow steps walked towards the room. Her body that was wearing a dress had changed into a dark blue-colored nightgown. As her steps passed through the room that was right next to Evan's room, Anta heard a small groan from the boy. Without waiting, Anta opened the door and approached him.
In his bed, Evan had woken up. His face was red to cry.
"German..." Anta rubbed the child's head slowly. Her pierced lips turned into a smile. His eyes kept staring at Anta.
"Ma..." He said softly, raising his hand up into the air.
Anta was stunned to hear it. The mama? Is the little girl calling her Mama? Or just the words that just came out of that little mouth. But, Anta doesn't care. This kid is so adorable. He wants to carry it.
"Ma..."
Anta regained her senses from her mind as Evan's voice came back. He smiled, then repeated his strokes on Evan's head.
"Yes, honey. You call Mama?"
"Ma..."
"Sweet child. Carp, can you?"
Evan nodded, as if understanding Anta's words. It made Anta chuckle and directly carry him.
"It's so handsome." Anta peeped her cheek.
Evan smiled again and hugged Anta's neck with his tiny hands. Anta smiled again. He thought it would be difficult for Evan to adapt to him. But his mind was wrong. Evan took it so easily.
"Evan why are you waking up at night like this? Evan hungry?" Anta asked, as if Evan understood her words and could answer.
"If Evan's hungry, Mama makes milk, huh?"
Hearing the word milk spoken Anta, the child immediately took off his embrace.
"The..." He looked at Anta's face, and again made the girl smile.
"It turns out this handsome boy is hungry. Wait, Mama make milk first."
Anta returns Evan to his bed. However, just one second into the bed, the boy cried. He raised his hand and asked Anta to carry him back. The girl did not have the heart and returned to hold Evan.
"Cups.. Cup... Cup... Don't cry, huh, smart kid?" Anta stroked his back. "Come, let's go to the kitchen. Make some milk for Evan, huh? Don't be so bad."
Anta stared at the closet in the room. He approached her and opened it. His hand immediately grabbed the sling he was looking for.
"Me too." Anta started using it. Luckily, he often sees his neighbors using it first. So he knows how to use it. And coincidentally, the sling that he was holding at the moment was easier the way it was used.
"We're wearing this, huh, to the kitchen? Let Evan safely carry Mama, and Mama can make milk for Evan." Anta. Without him realizing, he had spoken many times Mama said to describe his role in Evan.
While behind Evan's slightly open room door, Elvano peeked at Anta's activities taking care of Evan. There was nothing he showed. His face was flat watching all of that.
At first he wanted to see his son. Evan usually wakes up at night to drink milk. However, as he approached, it turned out that Evan's room door was slightly open. He peeked, and found Anta inside. He went into hiding, intending to see what Anta would do to his son.
"It has. Now, we're going to the kitchen!" With a carefree smile, Anta turned around with Evan in a sling. Elvano who saw was quickly hiding.

After finishing giving milk to Evan and accompanying the boy to a deep sleep, Anta returned to her room. But is it worth calling it his room? No. gabe. He just hitchhiked in there. That's what Elvano said firmly.
But, Anta breathed a little relieved. Elvano said when he was with Bu Devita and Pak Haris earlier, he had business. And it just so happened that Anta heard the roar of a car in the yard while making milk for Evan. Maybe the guy has gone out and finished his business.
Anta's hand stretched open the door. But he was struck by Elvano lying soundly in bed.
"Now, doesn't he have any business? Why is he sleeping here?" Anta muttered. He closed the door very slowly. Really, he did not want Elvano to be disturbed, and ended up scolding him.
Anta approached the bed. Grab a pillow, and take it to the couch. He'll sleep there.

Elvano woke up and sat on the edge of the bed. His eyes turned towards the sofa in his room. There was no Anta there. Last night, he hadn't really fallen asleep. He knew that Anta did not sleep in the same bed with him. He thought, that girl will take advantage of the situation. But, the assumption is wrong. Anta chose to stay away from him.
"Thank God he knows himself." He muttered, then rushed to the bathroom.
In the kitchen, Anta was helping Bi Ijah cook breakfast. The middle-aged woman looked like Anta.
"I thought, madam would wake up bad luck." He said, saying what he thought.
Anta chuckles. This woman beside him was really very honest. "It's common to wake up early, Bi."
"It's common to cook breakfast too?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Waaah... I did not expect, madam. Master should be very lucky to have a mistress."
"Auntie could have. But, by the way, Aunty just call Anta by name, don't you have to use mistress?"
"Why? Would good. Madam is not his wife, sir?"
"Hehehe... Anta tasa, Anta doesn't deserve to be called a mistress, Bi."
"Then what did Auntie call you?"
"Thank you."
"Auntie doesn't want to. Not polite."
"Well then, son of Anta?"
"Yes, I can." Replied Bi Ijah, who made the two chuckle together.
After finishing cooking breakfast, Anta said goodbye to Bi Ijah to see Evan. But, before going to Evan's room, Anta's step turned towards Elvano's room.
"It looks like he's in the bathroom." Said Anta when she arrived at the room.
He knew this marriage was a coercion and an agreement. But anyway, she is a wife. His job is to serve the husband. He always remembered the message of his late mother when he was alive.
Remembering her mother, a smile appeared on Anta's lips. The woman always told him about the kindness-negligence and gave him her best. Even though their lives were simple, they never felt lacking. But, everything was slowly disappearing since both of his parents died.
Anta woke up from her daydream. He approached Elvano's closet and opened it. Choosing a suitable stelan worn by Elvano to go to work.
"It suits him."
Anta put a white shirt, tie, black suit and black material pants. After preparing everything, the girl rushed out.
Anta went straight to Evan's room. Apparently, the boy had woken up. He smiled at Anta, revealing his two upper teeth.
"Uuhhh, handsome boy is awake. Come on, let's take a shower, shall we?"
Anta immediately carried Evan to the bathroom. Bathe the child carefully, put on good products for the baby. Then put on clothes for the boy.
"Hm... My mom's son is getting handsome. Smell again. Now we go to the dining room, okay?"
Anta carried Evan and walked out. While opening the door, Anta was startled by Elvano who was standing in front of the door. The man was also about to open the door, but before Anta.
Anta immediately averted her eyes as their eyes met each other. There was a bit of a sense of disappointment in knowing Elvano wasn't wearing the stellan he had chosen.
"Papa's son." Elvano approached and kissed Evan's cheek. Making his distance with Anta so close.
"Here's Papa cradle for a minute." Elvano stretched out her hand, but Evan turned around to hug Anta's neck.
"Yes..."
Elvano took a breath. This is the first time Evan has rejected it. He glanced at Anta who was just silently looking down. His hand moved rubbing Evan's hair.
"It's okay. Come, breakfast!"
Evan turned back to Elvano who was greeted with a smile by his father. They then walked together towards the dining room.
"I'll get the stroller first." Said Bi Ijah, quickly taking a stroller for Evan. Anta immediately sat Evan down to his stroller.
"M-mas what do you want to eat?" Anta dared to ask.
"I can take it myself." The answer.
Anta could only nod. He only asked because it was his duty to serve Elvano. Not to attract the attention of Elvano to accept it.
Anta moves into the kitchen and makes Evan's food. Just brew it, then take it to the dining table.
"Evan eat first, huh?"
The boy smiled at Anta. The beautiful girl began to feed Evan carefully. Clean up the scraps of food that were stuck in Evan's mouth.
Elvano doesn't care what Anta does. His focus was on Evan who was so voraciously eating his food.
After finishing his meal and gulping down water, Elvano approached his son. He nodded at Evan's head.
"Papa to the office first." Said the man, then rushed out of the house.
Anta followed Elvano who walked out. Elvano saw it, but did not rebuke. He let Anta follow him to the front page.
"Mas El," Anta's call made Elvano who was near the car stop. The man turned to look at her.
"What's wrong?" Tanya, a little sniffy.
Anta approached and immediately grabbed Elvano's hand. He kissed her, then took her off quickly. "Be careful." He said, looking down.
Elvano did not answer. He looked at Anta with a difficult look. A second later, there was the sound of a car door being closed quite loudly.
Anta was quite shocked. He took a deep breath, then turned in after Elvano's car moved away.

Elvano stared at the back of her hand, the former kiss of Anta. He had washed it several times, but the marks were still felt by him. The tissue on his desk had also run out as he continued to wipe the back of his hand. Feeling upset, he grabbed the office phone and called his secretary.
"Hallo, sir."
"Rism. Bring me a tissue."
"Good, sir."
Elvano disconnects the call and rests her back against the chair. The door was knocked, and Risma entered after Elvano allowed her.
"This is the knife master."
"Yes." Yeah."
"Any more, sir?"
"No. You out!"
"Good, sir. Excuse me."
Risma out. Elvano grabbed the tissue and rubbed the back of her hand. "Why does the former still exist?"
"Damn that girl!"
"I can't focus on working if I keep doing this." Elvano continued to rub the back of her hand.
"I've rubbed it many times. I even washed my hands. Is this how I feel if the scar is still there? Or because I thought too much about it, so I feel like the marks are still there?"
"Aarrrgh..." Elvano threw away whatever tissue he was using, then moved out of his chair. He grabbed the keys to the car and cell phone, then walked out of the room.
"Rism. Clean up my room! I have business."
"Good, sir." Risma Reply.
