Elvano opened her eyes slowly when she heard the voice of someone who was nausea in the bathroom. His hand groped the bed of Anta. His eyes opened wide when he could not find his wife lying next to him.
"Dear,"
"Toy... Hoek... Hoek..." The voice of Nausea was heard again. Elvano got out of bed and approached the bathroom.
Geck... Geck... Geck...
"Honey," call Elvano again. "Darling, what's wrong with you?"
There was no answer, making Elvano worried. He again heard Anta's nauseous voice.
"Honey. Anta. Answer me, Honey. Open door!" he said a little screaming.
Chequek...
The door opened and revealed Anta with her pale face. Elvano held both of Anta's arms and slightly lowered her face.
"You sick? Come on, see the doctor!" elvano was worried. Since living with Anta, she had never seen Anta like that.
"It's okay, Mom. I might just catch a cold," replied Anta limp.
"What kind of wind? Nope! We're going to the hospital."
"Then I had lunch. Last night, go to bed and not have lunch. Maybe because of that" answered Anta. Yes, because it was not busy with Evan's birthday celebration and also he was exhausted, Anta lagsung fell asleep without dinner.
"No. We have to go to the doctor!"
"Mas, I'm okay. Have an important meeting this morning? Go to the office. I'm gonna rest at home."
"I can't relax if you're sick." Elvano took Anta into his arms, peeping the woman's forehead several times.
"There's Mama with Papa here if you forget, Mom." Anna looked at her husband. Elvano remembers now. Mom just as her dad didn't come home last night.
"Yes already. Come on, rest again. I won't be long in the office. After the meeting, I went home." Anta nodded. Elvano kissed Anta's forehead once, then carried Anta.
The woman was no longer surprised. Elvano likes to be alone.
"I can still walk, Mas," said Anta softly.
"I can still carry you, too" Elvano replied, making a line of smiles appear on Anta's lips.
Elvano gently laid Anta down, and enveloped her. He gently rubbed Anta's hair and then again kissed the wife's forehead.
"I took a shower first" said Elvano, then passed after getting a nod from Anta.
After taking a shower, Elvano chose her own clothes to the office. Anta who saw her husband was done preparing to smile. He who had been lying down, changed his position to sit leaning on the back of the bed.
"Mas." Elvano, who was picking up her briefcase, turned around and approached.
"What's wrong? Have you changed your mind? We're going to the hospital?" elvano asked, still hoping that his wife would go to the hospital.
Anta shook her head slowly. "No. I just want to make your tie," exclaimed Anta. The man immediately exhaled his breath rather strongly. Honestly, his worry could not be lost.
It is different with Anta. He was indifferent, and instead focused on justifying the Elvano tie.
"Udah. Departing gih. It'll be stuck,"
"Darling, are you really okay with me staying?" Anta nodded. "The truth isn't going to the hospital?"
"Yes, Mas. If Mas comes home later I'm still like this, we're going to the hospital."
"Yes already. Go first. I'll ask your mama. If there's anything, let me know, yeah!"
"Yes Mas" said Anta, who then Elvano kissed her forehead. "Be careful, Mommy."
"Yes, baby." Elvano grabbed her bag and car keys, then kissed Anta's forehead once more, then passed from the room.
After Elvano left and the door closed tightly, Anta lay back down. However, he had not had time to touch his back on the mattress, nausea was re-emerging. Anta immediately ran to the bathroom.
Hoek
Hoek
Hoek
Geck... Geck... Geck...
The sound of knocking on the door made Anta who was about to close her eyes, reopen it.
Geck... Geck... Geck...
"Mom, bring warm tea for you. Mama's in, huh?" devita from behind the door.
"Yes, Ma." answered Anta quietly.
"Oh my God, baby." Devita stepped quickly towards Anta when she saw the pale face of her daughter-in-law. He put the glass of tea on the nightstand, then sat down on the side of the bed.
"What's wrong with you, son? It's pale" said Devita, putting the back of her hand on Anta's forehead.
"It's okay, Ma. Just in the wind."
"Vano said you were vomiting. So, mama made you warm tea." Devita grabbed the tea and handed it to Anta.
However, Anta's reaction made Devita's forehead shrivel. The daughter-in-law kept her face away from the tea she offered while covering her mouth and nose.
"Sorry, Ma. She doesn't like the smell of tea. Away from Anta, Ma."
"Lho's? This is the tea that is usually prepared in this house, you know."
"No idea, Ma. Anyway Anta doesn't like the smell."
From Elvano's remark that Anta was nauseous, also based on Anta's reaction now, Devita's mind was suddenly directed at one thing. Anta's pregnant. That's what's in his brain right now.
Devita put the glass away and put it back on the nightstand.
"It's okay if you don't want to drink. Now, you rest again. Mama anterin her tea to the kitchen first." Anta nodded and went back to lying down.
Devita brought the tea back out of Anta's room. His steps quickly went down the stairs. He placed the glass in the kitchen, then quickly went to the family room. Where Haris was watching television with Evan who was casually sitting in his stroller.
"Pa!" call Devita in a whispering voice making the man turn his head. Not with Evan. The boy focused on a television screen featuring cartoons.
"What's up, Ma? Why that whisper?"
Ignoring her husband's questions, Devita further tightened her sitting distance with her husband.
"Papa now to the pharmacy, buy tespack,"
"Huh? The tespack? Mama's pregnant?" surprised Haris when he heard the word 'tespack' spoken by his wife.
"Isa. Papa can't he, let out his voice?"
"sorry. Papa's release. Papa's abisnya surprised suddenly Mama told buy tespack. Do you have any signs that you're pregnant?" ask Haris.
"No signs of pregnancy. Papa don't fuck!"
"Lho's? Then, tell Papa to buy a tespack for what?"
"Ck. Papa asked a lot. You don't want a grandchild?"
"Good-grandson? Would-be. Who wouldn't wait! I mean, tespack... Make Anta?" ask Haris with sparkling eyes.
Devita nodded. " Yes, Pa. Looks like our daughter-in-law is having signs of pregnancy."
"Why not say that from now on? You know, Papa goes straight to the pharmacy."
"Yee... Papa missed his response. I'll say Mama Sesel."
"Hehehe... Sorry Papa, dear." Haris kissed his wife's forehead. "Yes already. Papa to the pharmacy first," said Haris. The man got up and before he left, he kissed Evan on the cheek.
"May Mama you be pregnant" Haris said, muttering, "May my daughter-in-law be pregnant, O Allah." And it made Devita smile.
After her husband leaves, Devita shifts closer to Evan. He kissed his grandson's cheek. "Evan is happy if Mama Anta is pregnant?"
"Mom." The word 'mam' coming out of Evan's mouth made Devita smile. She thought about her daughter-in-law's pregnancy, while the grandson she asked replied about eating.
