Ballad First Wife

Ballad First Wife
Wait for Me to Graduate

The next day, I went to work as usual. Arriving at the office I immediately entered my room. Without me knowing it, the Goddess followed me.

"Look at your eyes!" said the Goddess while pulling my shoulder until I turned to face her.

"What the hell is wik?" ask me while turning my face because I do not want the Goddess to see my eyes.

"Andre made you cry again? Until when do you survive like this. Life is short and not eternal. But we have a choice to live happily or hard." The goddess began to speak.

I shut up and walked over to my desk.

"This time what is he doing?" cerca Goddess. "Javab, Ra! Don't just be quiet." exclaimed the Goddess while I was still loyal to my silent action. He followed me and stood next to me

"Dad!!" Goddess snapped at me.

I looked up and looked at his face. My tears began to slide down one by one, "Overnight, I asked us to just split up, Wik." I replied in a trembling voice.

The goddess hugged me. I shed my tears in his arms. "I failed, Wik. I failed to save my home. I failed at being a good wife, Wik."

The goddess hugged me. He was silent without comment and just patting my back was soothing. While I was in the Goddess' arms, I heard someone open the door of my room. Soon I had my tears and I looked up at the door but there was no one there.

"So who, Wik?" my many.

"There's no one. Just wind." replied the Goddess.

I took a deep breath. The goddess had already let go of his embrace. He sat in the chair in front of my desk.

"This is the hardest stage of your life. But I'm sure you'll be strong. You're a tough woman." comfort the Goddess. I just smiled blandly. The next second I saw a message going into the phone of the Goddess and the Goddess replied to him. I don't know whose message. Shortly after, my phone shook too. I got a call from Alan. I picked him up and Alan asked me into his room.

"Who?" ask Goddess.

"Sir Alan. He asked me into his room." I replied.

"Yes already. Be lost. I want to go back to my place too. Uh but clean your face first. Don't appear so random in front of the Boss." seduce the Goddess while blinking her eyes. I threw him with a pencil on my desk. The goddess passed by with an echoing laughter.

"Basic." grumbled. I can't help but smile at my friend's silly behavior on that one.

I went out and walked into Alan's room. I took a few breaths before I knocked on Alan's door.

"Lake in!" there was a baritone Alan telling me to come in.

"Assalamualaikum, sir!" I say hello Alan listen respectfully because this is in the office.

"Closed!" alan's word is firm. I'm silent. Because usually when I was in Alan's room and we were just the two of us, I never closed Alan's door.

"But, Sir?" Reply protest.

Alan stood up and walked towards the door. He closed the door and even locked it.

"Lan!" sergeant panicked. I'm not freaking out because I'm afraid Alan's gonna do anything. No. gabe. I trust Alan. I just don't want to bring slander. And moreover this is not good.

I tried to open the door, but Alan pulled me towards the sofa.

"Lan!" I yelled as I pulled my hand out of Alan's grip.

"Sit down!" alan gave his strict orders. I sit.

Alan was sitting on the sofa opposite to where I was sitting.

"What made you finally break up?" tanyanya direct. I'm shocked. The only person who knew I was splitting up was the Goddess. Why does Alan know now.

"Where do you know?" I answered Alan's question with a question, too.

"So I saw you crying in the arms of the Goddess." Alan explained.

"Oh, so the one who opened the door was you. But why did the Goddess lie." I murmured.

"I forbid him to tell you."

Of course, the Goddess is. Alan told me to.

"I don't know. Suddenly the desire appeared."

"You're crazy!"

I was shocked by Alan's reaction.

"Why? You've always advised me to separate, haven't you?"

"Yes. But that was before your promotional letter came down. Ra, hold on a second! If you raise your divorce case, it'll reduce your judgment to step up. You know a country man like us is very difficult if you want to take care of a divorce. The case could be months. Not as simple as other civil society."

I'm down.

"Hold on in a minute, yeah! Don't you raise your divorce application to the office."

"Then I have to, Lan. I told you I wanted to split up. If I don't take care of it right away, Mas Andre will think that I'm just bluffing."

"Ra, please. For now don't think about Andre. Let him do what he wants. If he can't hold you anymore, let go. But don't lose your career, either. At least, one must succeed."

I lowered my head while squeezing my finger in my lap.

"Ra, toughen up like before." asked Alan who had moved to sit next to me. "Make yourself valuable. To make our path smooth in the future." whispered Alan softly.

I looked over, "You mean?"

I saw Alan breathing. "I know it was your mother's attitude that made you hold back your feelings for me." Alan said confidently that I liked him. And it made me so amazed that I couldn't say a word.

"So hold on until you take up your new position. You just got your divorce. I'll help you. And after that, we can be together."

I'm gawking at Alan's plan.

On the one hand I agree that my divorce will affect my promotion process and must be postponed. But plans after divorce?! I doubt.

"Lan.not that easy. Once I get into office, it's not that easy your mother will accept me. You forget that I'm gonna have one flaw that's gonna make our gap even deeper?"

"What's that?"

"I am a widow and you are a virgin." I smiled blandly. "Your mother would not want to have a widow's daughter-in-law. What does the world say? If his virgin daughter marries a widow. It's like his son can't get a virgin." I said.

I looked at Alan's face. His face looked a little grim.

"So you called me here for what?" I'm trying to shift the conversation. Actually I want to get out.

"Ra, answer honestly. How do you feel about me?" alan asked with hopeful eyes.

"Lan, you don't deserve to ask a married woman like that" I said.

"Jawab it, Ra!" Alan.

"alright. But I'm sorry about that earlier..."

"Stop!!!" Alan raised his hand. "Don't continue. I already know."

I smiled and stood up from my seat.

"So...since there's no need, can I go out?" I asked and without waiting for Alan's answer, I walked off the sofa to the door.

"Ra, if you're a widow, will you wait for me until I become a widower?"

Alan's strange question was able to stop my steps. I turned around and looked at him with questionable eyes.

"I'll marry Anita, and then I'll divorce her."Alan made his words clear.

"You're nuts. It's the same as playing with Lan's sacred marriage." I said disapprovingly.

"How do you think Anita will live her life after the divorce? Think of it!" I said firmly and then headed back to the door. "And remember! I don't like men who play women." I said before exiting Alan's room.
