Beautiful Undead

Beautiful Undead
Chapter 16's

Looking at the front yard that was already like a sea of blood, Duke Carlin shook his head mercilessly as he saw his second daughter standing in the middle of that chaotic place.

These clothes were made of white satin cloth, having been dyed to red with human blood.

With her leisure, Nathania cleans the sword in her hand using a handkerchief owned by Mr. Johan.

The two people were already unworthy of being seen as a noble. Although Lord Johan was the knight in charge of guarding Nathania, Duke Carlin certainly never forgot the identity of Lord Johan as the senior head of the imperial knight.

Look at the appearance of these two people. They are not worth seeing by the eyes.

But apparently, only Duke Carlin thought that way. Because all the people were happy and the family members who managed to survive were also very proud of their second daughter.

"Sir .. how did you get-"

"Stop talking and get all the bodies here on fire! Before they got back up and troubled me and Lord Johan," exclaimed Nathania, rebuking Azel who was about to boast of himself.

Azel instantly fell silent and looked at his elder sister with an annoyed look. "Curtain ..."

But even so, Azel still did his brother's orders and burned all the corpses of zombies that were fluttering in their yard with his magic.

"You're satisfied playing?!" duke Carlin, looking at his daughter's face that was already soiled by bloodstains.

Nathania nodded proudly and gave the sword to the father. It made Duke Carlin snort a rough breath and follow him away.

"You may raise your sword in front of the Crown Prince. What if your engagement is completely void? You know the consequences?!" ask Carlin's condolences, in a high tone.

Nathania stopped his steps, and turned around to the back. Staring at the figure of the father with a deep piercing cold gaze.

"Dad, shouldn't you think clearly about what to do and what to forget in a crucial moment?" chirped Nathania, slowly approaching towards Duke Carlin with an intimidating look.

"Darling, go inside to clean yourself up. Don't think about your father! Let the mother speak to her" said Edelia, walking up to the quarrelling father and son in the middle of the main hall.

Nathania turned her face towards there mother. "Mother, please tell father what to do and what to forget! He was too concerned about his position to be unable to fulfill his responsibilities as a ruler. I don't like people like that the most. His strength alone was strong, but his guts were like rats!"

Deg ....

All of Nathania's servants and family who heard Nathania's sharp words, which were thrown at his father, Duke Carlin, felt that Nathania's attitude was starting to get a little outrageous.

"Brazed kid! Get me a bat. Let me-"

"Why didn't you cut off my head? Isn't that better than keeping me alive but useless?!" Nathania, who was about to leave his place, now began to walk back to his father with a murderous gaze. "Dad wants to make both my little legs hurt and unable to walk? Just cut it off!" shouts, loud.

A tense atmosphere began to envelop the residence of Duke Carlin. Nathania's slightly outrageous words, made everyone tense and gloomy.

Nathania is the greatest person to be told to oppose something. Just look at his behavior now. It's exactly the same as the behavior of an ungodly child!

But not getting there, Duke Carlin suddenly pulled a field from its sheath. He pointed the tip of his sword towards Nathania.

Crown Prince Justin, who had only watched from the 2nd floor, now went straight down to the first floor and met Duke Carlin.

"Mr Carlin, please calm down. You scared all the servants and your wife. Moreover, Mr. Azel was still too young to witness this incident." The Crown Prince pleaded sincerely. "Please lower your sword."

Then he walked away from his place, followed by his wife and first daughter.

"Miss Nathania, isn't your company too loud for parents to listen to? After all, Mr. Carlin is the one who raised you and educated you to this extent." The Crown Prince tried to calm Nathania's emotions with gentle words.

But whatever the force, Nathania instead threw a cold and indifferent look at him. "It's none of your business."

Nathania leaves the room followed by her loyal servant, Miss Sabrina.

***

Inside the room, Miss Sabrina kept looking at her pensive Master on the edge of the balcony of the room window.

With a glass of wine accompanying her, Nathania continued to look at the night with a tired and sad look.

"Miss, it's been in bed hours. The wind was also starting to feel cold. If you continue to be there, I'm afraid that tomorrow morning you're sick." Sabrina took two steps forward, and stopped right at the window sill. "Please come in, Miss."

Nathania glanced softly at his servant. "You just take a break. Go back to your room, I'll sleep when I'm sleepy."

Sabrina dared not argue with that word. Moreover, now Nathania's emotions were peaking. He who was a small servant, of course did not dare to make up for this situation.

"Good, Miss. Then I resign, good night."

Sabrina's gone. She left Nathania alone in the room.

"A very bright light. You feel comfortable in a dark room like this?" asked a man whom Nathania clearly knew from his voice.

There was no need to look around, he could pronounce the name of the man well.

"Your Highness the Crown Prince, shouldn't you be in the kingdom? Why is it in my room?!" he asked, without looking at the interlocutor.

Crown Prince Justin is standing next to Nathania. "Aren't you cold? Turns out the wind is pretty strong here."

Nathania let out a long, gentle breath. "You don't want to go? I want to sleep!" he said he was trying to throw Justin out.

Justin watched Nathania pass by from beside him, went to bed and laid himself down while pulling the blanket up to his chest.

Justin approached her and stood beside the bed. "The brave girl. Can you sleep when a stranger is in your room? Not afraid of me attacking?? Just so you know, I'm still a normal guy." Justin pointed towards himself while commenting on a rancid smile.

Nathania closed his eyes. "Yes, I know that you're a normal guy. If it's not normal, where would you like to plan a wedding with me?!"

"Then? Why are you sleeping when I am still here? You're not afraid I'm attacking??" justin asked, several times.

Nathania shakes. "I am sure that a man of dignity will not hurt a woman" he replied, wisely.

Hearing that, Justin smiled and nodded a few times as he walked out of Nathania's room.

"See you tomorrow morning. Good night, my future wife!" hail Crown Prince Justin, commenting on the sweet smile.
