Beautiful Undead

Beautiful Undead
Chapter 6's

7 Ellworth family members gathered at the dinner table. While eating their food, the 7 people also communicated with each other kindly even though Nathania saw it as a compulsion.

They look very friendly. Even when they talk, they are always smiling. No matter what the content of their conversation was, the 7 people kept smiling without fear of their facial muscles becoming stiff.

"How do I get out of here?" inner Nathania, looking around with a watchful look.

"What are you looking for?" whispered the 15-year-old boy, who was sitting right on his right.

Nathania turned to Azel, the younger brother and youngest son of the Ellworth family, with a sour look. "Nothing, continue eating" he exclaimed, trying to be friendly despite his reluctance.

Azel just nodded and turned to his father. "Dad, may I ask you a question?" he asked, putting on a doubtful face.

Duke Carlin nodded briefly. "Tell me, what do you want to say?"

All the attention of the other family members was on Azel. And the young man, looks start to get nervous seeing everyone's gaze fall on him.

"About Nathania's sister's engagement to the crown prince, is it still going?" azel asked, with a squeaking voice like a frightened rat in front of an adult cat.

The two beads of Duke Carlin and Edelia's eyes instantly rounded, glaring fiercely as if killing their youngest son mentally with a gaze.

Sure enough, Azel immediately lowered his head no longer dares to look up or just glance to the right and to the left.

Vk ....

Duke Carlin rose up from his chair violently, looking at their youngest son with a sharp look as if he wanted to marry this little man right then and there.

"Brazed kid! You may be referring to your sister's engagement to the crown prince, after knowing your brother's current state. It's free for me to send you to graduate the best academic in the Kingdom of Pritam. Your behavior is still on par with the commoners who never went to school. You immoral child!"  enraged Duke Carlin, while pointing towards Azel loudly.

Seeing the chaos, the mother, Edelia, just shook her head mercifully looking at the attitude of her husband and youngest son.

"Talking about morals, aren't you two more immoral? Why fight at the dinner table?! You didn't see the others eating and became awkward because of what you two did!!" edelia shouted, looking at her husband and youngest son in turn.

Duke Carlin and Azel, who heard the anger from their mother, kept silent and tried to calm themselves.

Nathania looked at Azel. The man's face was already pale with fear, looking at the father who was furious with him.

Nathania's right hand clasped Azel's fused hand under the table, and showed a restless claw.

Looking at her sister's hand, holding her hand, Azel turned to Nathania who kept looking forward, as if he did not care about her.

"Calm down. Take a deep breath and exhale. After that, finish your meal and get out of here, " Nathania said, in a quiet and quiet voice.

Azel who saw that attitude immediately pensively. Surprised, and to the point of not being able to respond to anything when he saw the kind gesture of this older sister, who was named "Nathania.

Because before Nathania got sick, she was a cold person even with her own family.

He tends to close himself and does not familiarize himself intentionally, to family, friends or others.

Then why was he suddenly being so nice? Does memory loss affect his attitude to others? In that case, isn't this a big change in the positive direction?! Really good change, right?

Azel nodded his head enthusiastically and lowered his head deeply. Hiding his shy face, because of the reaction of the brother.

"Thank you," she said, Nathania heard so well.

"No problem."

After the lunch hour had passed, everyone who had gathered at the dinner table had now left to continue their respective activities, except for Nathania and Duke Carlin.

They still want to connect the talks that had been delayed, because it was hampered by lunch time with their families.

"About the question that Azel was talking about at lunch. Can you explain that to me?" nathania asked, again using formal language.

Duke Carlin put the coffee mug over the pair of small plates of his coffee mug. He crossed his legs until he piled on each other and placed both hands that were also fused, on his knees.

"If you want to hear this news, you should also be ready to see the Royal Family again. If you're sure you want to hear what kind of relationship you have with the royal family now?" duke Carlin asked, as if unwilling to explain.

The Duke vividly recalled the last time he saw his daughter almost ending up when news of her engagement and the crown prince was delivered directly by the Duke, to her.

Maybe Nathania hated the crown prince so much back then. But, when this woman in front of him was not his real daughter, would such a bad incident reoccur before his eyes?

Duke Carlin felt very hesitant to say the same thing to a different little boy, but had the same face as his real daughter.

Nathania watched Duke Carlin's facial expression intently. "If you still don't want me to know, you don't have to answer my question. After all, a parent's heart would still ache to see his daughter attempt suicide in front of them. Although all that was in vain and now he is in front of you with a healthy body condition," he said slowly, place at the end of the sentence.

Duke Carlin flashed a faint smile, which Nathania did not reply to.

But the servants who were around them, the servants who were on guard if the two people needed anything from them, looked at all of those events with awkward gazes.

There were those who could not believe the look on their Duke's face that could smile at Nathania's daughter and there were some people who saluted the change in their relationship that the more the day, the better it looked.

"God ... You see that Mr William?!" an aide to Duke Carlin's right hand spoke to Duke Ellworth's butler. "Hahhh .. how did the two of them get along so well like that now? Is it possible that Duke was a little sorry for having made princess Nathania in pain a few days ago?"

The man called by the name of William turned to his Master's aide of confidence with a flat look. "I'm not sure either, Mr. Martin. But isn't the view so beautiful to look at?"

Martin was enthusiastic. "Yes. It was a sight I had been waiting for for the past 5 years. I can finally see it now!"

"Me too!"

Meanwhile, the two main characters were the talk of the servants ....

The Duke smiled gently, and said, "Thank you for understanding. As soon as possible I will tell you all the things that happened in the past life. I won't make things difficult for you for too long" Duke Carlin said, speaking with a firm feeling.

Nathania simply nodded slowly in response and continued to enjoy the small meal the waiters had prepared for the two of them.

"Not a big deal, Mr. Duke.”
