Became A Blind Villain
Beast Contents?

Ashlyn gasped for breath, why did she have to spend so much energy and time to get to the main courtyard.

Damn it at this Mansion that is so big and the hallway is so long. This is a novel with a sub genre of fantasy so why can't he use teleportation and have to use both his legs to get to this place.

He didn't even know what was really going on, he just directly shouted as soon as he opened the main door.

"Stop!"

Swallowed his own saliva to wet his dry throat from being too tired. Ashlyn then turned to where Carolin was.

"They haven't been executed, have they?"

Ashlyn asked and Carolin immediately nodded his head while putting a pashmina scarf on Ashlyn's shoulder.

"No, not yet, Lady Ashlyn. They haven't been executed."

Ashlyn heaved a sigh of relief and she turned her head back to the front. Although she was blind and her eyes were gray, the people who saw Ashlyn felt that Ashlyn was not blind because her gaze was so sharp and full of courage as if splashing anger from her angry facial expression.

And they wondered if this evil Ashlyn had purposely come to witness how the two men died. This evil girl was indeed in accordance with the rumors that were circulating,

UNFEELING.

NOT PERICEMANUSIAN.

CRUEL!

Still panting Ashlyn grabbed Carolin's hand and said. "Take me to the stage now."

Carolin who was suddenly dragged away became frightened, "But Lady Ashlyn."

Ashlyn stopped and let go of her grip. "Why!" Ashlyn yelled leaving Carolin stunned and trembling in fear. "Why do you like to refute my words so much, you don't like working for me?"

Everyone saw this and were increasingly convinced at their conjecture that the rumors were true. Ashlyn is indeed an evil girl who will not even think about the fate of her servants and throw them away whenever she wants.

Meanwhile Ashlyn was so upset she was also angry. He may be blind, but he's not deaf and he can't stand all the addresses he's been directed to.

The evil Ashlyn, the cruel Ashlyn, and the myriad of nicknames that came out of their mouths.

Ashlyn's cruelty isn't as severe as people think Ashlyn is. Ashlyn only does evil to Annabel and the people who try to defend Annabel. However, it was solely because Ashlyn wanted to protect what she thought was hers.

Protecting her from two parasites trying to snatch everything from her.

Annabel and Arabella!

Ashlyn clutched her hands tightly, this figure suffered so much because of them, and in the end this figure died in an unfair manner, he said, but they stayed alive and probably lived happily after this figure was killed by the Duke.

Ashlyn's anger was mounting, she thought that when she first woke up in the body of this character she would leave this place and not want to deal with Annabel and Arabella. However, what happened, all of them blamed him and thought of him as a bad person. Even he almost lost his life suffering times!

Twice! Ashlyn doesn't want a third or umpteenth time.

Annabel and Arabella! Ashlyn boasted these two names in her mouth, nonsense by going away from them and living quietly on the mountain. Ashlyn has changed her goals and is determined that she will take everything, taking everything that should be Ashlyn's figure.

"La-lady Ashlyn, I-I didn't mean ...."

"Yet speaking stammering, can't you speak properly and can't you understand what I'm saying!"

Duke Damien saw his daughter scolding Carolin in front of everyone before watching around, seeing how these people saw her daughter who was experiencing an emotional outburst.

Seeing how they looked at his daughter in such whispers the Duke really felt displeased.

If it was him when he first came back and saw his daughter's attitude, the Duke would feel ashamed at the people who saw his daughter's attitude that was out of bounds and did not reflect the attitude of a noble. He would get angry and pull his daughter, and lock her in the room to reflect on her mistakes or slap her to keep the girl quiet.

However, now that the Duke saw this, the Duke truly felt extremely guilty. Her daughter being like this was her fault. So how could she slap him and lock him in the room, the only person who deserved to be slapped was herself.

Ignoring the gazes and whispers of the people, Duke stepped off the stage and walked up to Ashlyn, grabbing her hand.

"Ashlyn's." The duke said softly.

However, just after Duke said that, Ashlyn pulled her hand violently and made her grip slip apart.

"Don't touch me!" Ashlyn snapped.

The Duke was stunned, as was everyone present there. They did not at all think that Ashlyn would be so brave, even to her own father, the esteemed Duke Damien Daren Lynx.

How disrespectful he is! Everyone's gaze was increasingly filled with hatred towards Ashlyn.

Duke tried to hold back his emotions to not get angry at Ashlyn and ignore the response of others. It was his fault that his daughter became like this, he could not get angry and make matters worse his daughter, he had to be patient to correct this.

"Ashlyn, what are you doing here, come in and rest first, your condition ...."

"What about my condition?" Ashlyn quickly cut. Is Duke desperate to make his daughter even more hated by everyone by killing those two people? "Am I supposed to wait inside while the one who is going to cut his neck off today is an innocent man!"

Finished saying this, everyone who could hear each other whispered.

"Lady Ashlyn said the two men were innocent."

"What, but how did he know?"

"Ah I'm sure this is just Lady Ashlyn's plan to get everyone's attention."

"Are you sure?"

Those who whisper make those who do not hear what Ashlyn says know what Ashlyn says. Everyone expressed their opinions including the aristocrats who began to argue about Duke Damien's credibility in capturing criminals.

"Do you think the Duke really wrongly caught the real culprit."

"Ah, this is embarrassing. A great Duke can fail too."

"So what you say, if he hears you, you'll lose your tongue. Anybody can do wrong."

"But, Lady Ashlyn actually dared to humiliate her own father in public like this. What will Duke Damien do this time?"

"He'll probably slap her again until she's mute."

Everyone was whispering in a soft and careful voice, afraid that their words would be heard by Duke Damien. However, even though they were afraid, they still proceeded to scowl Duke and Ashlyn, completely like dogs that barked but did not bite.

The only person who did not gossip the Duke and Ashlyn was the Crown Prince. He was very worried and wondered how the girl knew that the two men had not poisoned him.

Even though the Crown Prince had already made a deal with the owner of the cake shop for him to keep his mouth shut about the orders given by him. However, under Duke's threat, who can guarantee that maybe the owner of the damn cake shop opened his mouth and said his involvement on the matter.

If that happens, he'll be beheaded.

Goddamnit! Ashly! That wicked girl may God send lightning to kill her!

After all, he was the Crown Prince, the Duke would have to face the Royal army if he wanted to decapitate him! His father was the King, he wouldn't let his son just die, would he?

"What do you mean by the wrong person, Ashlyn?" Duke Damien patiently asked.

Ashlyn snorted and raised her head, showing her gray eyes boldly. "What the doctor said about my condition, think again Duke Da ...."

"Dad." Duke Damien quickly cut. "Remember our covenant, Ashlyn. You should call me dad."

Ashlyn lowered her head and chuckled before saying. "Alright, Dad. Use your brain to think, I'm food poisoning, and a person with food poisoning won't show symptoms right after the person finishes eating. I fell unconscious after I finished eating noodles, which means the noodles are not poisonous but the fucking fish cakes are poisonous."

The Duke fell silent as he listened to Ashlyn's explanation and Ashlyn continued to explain. "Again, not only did I eat noodles, all of them including the knights, Ashlan and Carolin also ate, as well as fish cakes, they also ate, they also ate, at that time my fish cake was not good and I who never ate it thought you all did have bad taste about food. But it seems I was wrong, the owner of the cake shop did deliberately give me a bad and poisonous cake."

Ashlyn laughed and pulled her hair back. "Truly a useless person, I bought his cake but he wanted to poison me as if I were a person who owed him a lot."

Hearing him the Duke looked at Carolin and the Duke remembered Carolin also saying about Ashlyn who immediately threw away the fish cake after eating one bite.

The blood vessels on his forehead surged and his hands clenched tightly.

"Immediately prepare an army, drag the fish-cake shop owner to this place and let everyone see his death!" The duke immediately gave the order right then and Ashlyn also wanted to wait and hear what the shopkeeper would say when he came later.

The roar of horses rang out, the knights went to exit the gate and it only took a few minutes to return to the courtyard.

That was so fast, Ashlyn thought what the owner of the cake shop did not hide and ran away when she heard about this, Ashlyn said, is he not afraid that his head might break today if he gets caught or this guy is actually too calm and so confident that he will not get caught.

Idiotically.

"La-lady Ashlyn I hate you so much!"

Ashlyn was stunned, while Duke was so angry that he couldn't bear to not hit the owner of the cake shop.

A hard slap landed on his cheek until the man experienced the same thing as Edmund. His cheeks were bruised while his nose and mouth did not stop bleeding.

However, instead of being afraid of the owner of the cake shop, it just laughed and surprised everyone.

"Look how this wicked girl used her father's power to suppress ordinary people like me. They think just because they are powerful they can do anything. Damned people, you were only born luckier than me but you were never grateful and kept making my life difficult. Since you are the evil Lady Ashlyn, the Crown Prince stopped buying cakes from me, and my shop had to be opened to the public, my sales dropped dramatically and I suffered a considerable loss because people did not want to buy fish cakes from my shop, they were used to eating fish cakes given by the noble Lady Annabel. However, what are you doing just because you want to eat fish cakes, you are destroying my business, you are destroying my business!"

Ashlyn clucked and inside she was completely upset half to death, again everything related to Annabel. It seems like she and Annabel can't help but intersect.

Below, people began to whisper again about what the cake shop owners said and most of them agreed. Because of Lady Ashlyn they had to spend money to eat fish cakes.

"Why do you blame me for the trouble you've been through? Are you stupid?"

"Yes, this is what the evil Lady Ashlyn looks like, she never cared about anyone else's life!" The owner of the cake shop kept barking furiously, not caring even though both of his hands were being held back and forced to kneel in front of everyone.

Ashlyn squeezes his hand, realizing that forever he may not be able to escape Ashlyn's evil nickname. But then he could not help but smile while Duke did not understand why Ashlyn wanted to listen to the explanation of the owner of this cake shop and forbade him to kill her.

However, the Duke could not help but admire Ashlyn's attitude which until now had not exploded due to emotions, she was instead impressed calm and did not lose her smile from her face.

"Why do you blame me and not Annabel and the Crown Prince?"

This speech shocked everyone and made people whisper again.

"Well, how dare he blame Annabel and the Crown Prince."

"He was not self-conscious, because he was the owner of the store almost bankrupt and blah blah blah blah."

They continued their conversation in a soft voice.

"If the royal army hadn't prevented me from buying fish cakes in the first place, things wouldn't have been like this. Hey, use your brain to think, if the Crown Prince didn't buy all your cookies in the first place, Annabel wouldn't have to hand out those cookies to anyone else. If Annabel doesn't hand out the cake every day for free then your store won't lose a buyer. From the beginning it was your fault that let this happen, and if your cake was really good, you wouldn't lose the buyer either, good food was always sought after by the buyer. However, what is this ... Kuemu turned out to be worse than trash, it felt so bad even poisonous that's why they didn't want to buy your cake and wait for free stuff. Because your cake is not worth buying at all."

Good food is always sought after by buyers. The shopkeeper was stunned upon hearing this as if these words reminded him back to the time when his cake shop was just a small shop, a small one, lady Annabel had not yet appeared in her shop and the Crown Prince had not bought all her cakes. However, the cake was always running out and the queue in his shop was so long, the, every day the owner of the cake shop can see the same face as the people who always buy the fish cakes and sometimes there are new faces coming to the cake shop. In fact, it is not uncommon for lovers to make their cake shop as a place to meet and not infrequently people actually find their soul mates when waiting in line at the cake shop. His shop was never empty of buyers and therefore he could get to know many people.

His cake shop is the most famous in the capital.

However, ever since Lady Annabel came and liked her homemade fish cakes, suddenly her shop had to be closed and she was just making fish cakes for the Crown Prince, from that day on he was just busy in the kitchen making cakes and there were no more shoppers lining up in front of his shop laughing and talking to him like he used to. The shop became silent as if it lost its soul.

Unknowingly, the store owner shed tears as he recalled the glory days of his store that was so crowded and never empty of visitors. Suddenly, his eyes darkened.

"No! It's all your fault Lady Ashlyn, it's all your fault, if you don't make a fuss in my cake shop, my shop doesn't need to suffer such a huge loss. All of this is because of you, because you are a human being born with sin and endowed with a cruel, heartless and indifferent nature to others. People like you deserve to die, you really deserve to die, that's why I put poison in your fishcake, I wish you died after eating my fishcake in great agony. You ...."

The Duke was already extremely impervious to that person, his harsh words were truly already outrageous, how dare a person like himself curse his daughter even by deliberately putting poison in her daughter's food. The duke wanted to draw his sword and behead the man immediately, but his daughter was so calm and impressed unconcerned as if she would listen to all the serfdom and curses coming from that person, he said, and that left Duke unable to take action because he had already promised Ashlyn to let Ashlyn decide what would happen to the cake shop owner.

However, as the man was cursing and cursing his daughter and he could only hold back the anger by clenching his hands. Suddenly the Duke saw the young man named Ashlan hit the shop owner, as if he was a beast, Ashlan bit the man's neck until blood splashed and splattered everywhere.

So brutal, his actions shocked everyone, but the Duke's reflexes were so quick, he immediately protected Ashlyn with his robe, making sure no blood soiled his daughter.

The people who witnessed the incident immediately shouted and the atmosphere became chaotic, they were more shocked when they saw this. Edmund was truly like a wild, starving beast, although his body was covered in wounds and his hands were tied, he did not let the man who owned the cake shop escape from his bite.

The man screamed for help and wriggled in pain, but Edmund pressed the man's body with his body, he sat on top of the man while his teeth bit his neck, with his teeth Edmund split the skin and flesh into the man's veins.

Those who saw it could not help but ask.

"Who's that crazy guy?"

"Why did that man look so angry to Lady Ashlyn that he did such a heinous thing?"

Everyone was shocked and frightened, except for the Crown Prince who actually looked happy as if he had just lost his fear. It was good if the owner of the cake shop died, with this his position would be safe and the Crown Prince really appreciated the bravery of the cake shop owner who was willing to die for the sake of his family being held in prison. That fellow was really stupid thinking that he would let go of his family if he shut his mouth about the Crown Prince's involvement, naturally the Crown Prince would never let go of his family, he said, even their deaths were much better to keep this secret safe.

People continued to whisper while Edmund only stopped biting when his victim did not move anymore. However, after which Edmund was stunned, with blood flowing in his mouth even fouling some of his face and body, Edmund stared blankly at the man he had just killed.

The man looked very pitiful as if he was dying in pain. His eyes bulged with the corners of his reddened eyes as well as the tears on his temples, his neck was severely injured and still draining blood while his mouth was gaping as if the person was still shouting, but had lost his voice. The man's dead.

Edmund's hand shook, as if realizing what he had just done was wrong. With fear and worry, Edmund turned to look at Ashlyn, but only half he turned his head, Edmund looked down as if realizing how dirty he was with all the blood on his body.

Edmund tried to remove the blood, especially the one on his face. However, he was troubled as his hands were tied backwards. Edmund continued to think how he could clean his face, until he finally rubbed his face on the corpse of the man in front of him before turning to look at Ashlyn who was in the arms of Duke Damien.

Edmund could not see Ashlyn's face, he only saw a hint of her silvery-gray hair behind Duke Damien's shoulder.

"La - Lady Ashlyn." Edmund said cautiously in a kneeling position and head turned up. "Lady Ashlyn, I really didn't accidentally, I got out of control, please don't hate me." Edmund pleads like a dog to be thrown away by his master for making his master angry and disgusted at his actions.

He wailed and stared, but Ashlyn did not show his face and continued to hide inside the Duke's arms.

"Please don't hate me, Ashlyn."

🔸 Edmund's attitude is like this because of what?all the clues are in the previous chapter :v
