Became A Blind Villain

Became A Blind Villain
Hated by everyone.

The boy took Ashlyn to a simple wooden house on the edge of the forest. There was a small river there, Ashlyn could hear the gurgling sound of running water and crashing into the rocks. There was no other building besides the house that made the atmosphere very quiet.

"Mother ...." The boy opened the door and led Ashlyn inside.

The wooden floor that squeaked when stepped on, signified how bad the condition of the place was. However, the black-haired boy with the dark eyes of the night was very friendly while treating Ashlyn inside his house.

He carefully offers Ashlyn a drink and invites Ashlyn to sit down. However, Ashlyn refused, she did not want to waste any time let alone she felt that there was something strange about the place.

"Where's your mom?" Ashlyn asked.

The boy stared with his bright black eyes. "Mother's in the room, do you want to see her now?"

"What do you think I'm here for?"

The boy felt guilty. This witch must be a very busy person.

The boy immediately took Ashlyn into his mother's room and found her weakly lying on the bed with a thin body and a thin face, even her cheekbones were so clearly visible, it was as if he was just a bone wrapped in skin.

The woman's breath was very weak. However, upon seeing her son she could still smile gently.

"Mother, I brought a Witch with me. He can cure Mom. I don't have to worry anymore, I'll heal, I'll heal."

The boy's tone looked very happy, but not with Ashlyn. Even if she had not checked her circumstances, Ashlyn already knew how bad the woman was.

And Ashlyn did not want to give false hope to the boy or ....

"I'm sorry, son. I can't accompany you anymore. I really hope that I can continue to live to be with you, for the rest of your life."

Ashlyn raised her eyebrows and did not at all suspect that the woman was already aware of her own condition.

The boy loudly shook his head. "No! Stop saying that. I'm going to heal, I've brought a witch to heal you."

The boy then turned to look at Ashlyn expectantly, holding his cold hand and pleading.

"Say, please tell me that you can heal my mother. I'm gonna heal my mom."

The boy wailed desperately, but what could he do. In the end all who live will die and not all diseases can be cured.

"He's at the end of his limit, your mother can't hold on anymore."

Hearing Ashlyn's words, the boy's hand trembled and for a moment he felt angry. "lik! You just don't want to help us, do you. You haven't even checked, you're the same as those bad guys. You don't care about us."

Ashlyn raised an eyebrow, "I'm a bad person then why, it's your fault your mother became like this."

The boy grew angrier with all of Ashlyn's words and slowly dark energy began to overflow from his body.

"You're the same as those people, always blaming me and thinking of me as a disaster bearer. You ...."

The overflowing dark energy surrounding the child was getting stronger and stronger.

The bedridden woman stared worriedly, trying to grab her son and call her son.

"Raphela." The woman said softly, her heart really hurt when she saw her son like that. He tried to get off the bed, but his body was too weak, he could only roll over and fall off the top of the bed.

"Nobody cares about us. They're all heartless bad guys!" Raphael continued to fumble indistinctly. His black eyes had already turned back red. Such a powerful energy pressure made the house shake and the wooden walls started to crack.

If Ashlyn doesn't stop her immediately, the house will collapse.

However, Ashlyn did not stop him immediately, she instead said. "Because of you like this, your mother became sick."

Raphael stared intently at Ashlyn. "Why? Why is it because I'm a sick mother? It was because those evil people were so stingy and cruel. They drove us out of the village and made us live in the forest. My mom couldn't get a job and we had to starve, my mom got sick, but I wasn't even allowed to ask for medicine for her. They say I'm the son of the devil, then why! Why do they blame me and make my mother and I suffer just because I am the son of the devil. I never wanted to be a child of the devil at all, but could I choose? I can't choose to be born into whose child, so why do they keep blaming me? Why is! Why is the world so unfair to me! Mom was the only one I had and you refused to help her. You just gave me false hope. You want to laugh at our suffering! You're a bad guy! Bad guy!"

The dark energy grew stronger and with all the chatter was also the moans of a mother who slumped on the floor, crying out to her son.

"Raphael, son. Stop over. Please stop. Raphael ...."

This gave Ashlyn a headache and could not help but slap the child's face hard.

The boy fell to the floor in front of his mother stunned. The slap was really painful and shocked him. However, that dark energy spontaneously disappeared as well.

Upon seeing her son fall slumped on the floor, the woman immediately hugged her son and Raphael felt such a familiar feeling as if there was magical energy spreading all over his body and making him warm, feeling very comfortable.

"Patience, everything will be fine."

Ashlyn sighed.

The malnourished mother and son hugged and Ashlyn kept hearing crying.

"Now, do you understand what you did to your mother?" Ashlyn asked.

Raphael's stunned. However, the woman immediately shook her head. Covering Raphael's ears with both hands and looking at Ashlyn.

"No, please don't tell Raphael that."

Although his ears were covered, Raphael could still hear his mother's voice clearly and Raphael could not help but be surprised.

He pulled his mother's hand, and looked at her. "Mother, is it true .. is it true because I'm a sick mother?"

The woman cried with a broken feeling as she looked at the face of her son who was staring at her demanding an answer. The woman shook her head repeatedly.

"Mom, please be honest with me. Was it me who made mom sick? I'm the one who made you suffer?"

The woman kept shaking her head. "No Raphael, no."

"The reason why your mother can't be treated is because of her ...."

"No, please don't tell him. Don't tell him."

The woman quickly cut out Ashlyn's words.

Ashlyn did not care. "He deserves to know everything. The reason why your mother became like this is because she used her life energy to calm you down."

"Don't listen, it's not true. You didn't make a mistake. You're the mother's most precious son, mother's favorite." The woman tried to cover her son's ears. However, Raphael would rather hear what Ashlyn explained.

"Every time you get angry and sad, the dark energy stored in your body overflows uncontrollably, your mother hugs you and uses her body to absorb all that dark energy to bring you back to calm. However, your mother is only an ordinary human being, not even a knight would be able to survive if that dark energy lodged within her body. It would make his body become weaker day by day, and the dark energy would eat up his life energy slowly until it was depleted, meaning your mother would ...."

Ashlyn did not continue her last words. However, Raphael already understood what he meant and the boy could not feel the pain inside his chest.

However this time the dark energy did not overflow from his body. The reason alone Ashlyn could only confirm that Raphael was truly sad and there was no turbulent feeling of anger in his soul.

Raphael wept in front of his mother's grave. At that time, his mother really could not hold on anymore. After smiling at her and saying that it wasn't Raphael's fault, that her mother was happy because Raphael's mother went to sleep for good.

Ashlyn did not leave immediately and helped the boy bury his mother not far from their home.

Raphael did not stop blaming himself.

"It's all because I'm the son of the devil that you have to live in agony all your life. They are right, I am a disaster bearer, forever I am a burden to my mother. Mother .. I am the source of your suffering. I've made you suffer all your life, I can't make you happy."

Hearing all the self-blame chatter, Ashlyn squeezed her hair and sighed before saying.

"Hey, son."

Raphael fell silent and turned his head, looking at Ashlyn.

"You can hate the world, but you can't hate yourself."

Raphael fell silent. "As you said, you don't want to be born a child of the devil either, but you can choose. You can't choose to be born as what, or be born into whose family. However, you can choose to accept the situation or try to change the situation. What happened to your mother isn't your fault, she doesn't regret doing it because you're her son. So never regret and live well as your mother wishes, or live as you wish."

After saying that Ashlyn left Raphael there alone. However, who would have thought that Raphael would come back to follow him.

Ashlyn, turned around and asked, "Why are you following me?"

Raphael looked at Ashlyn who was as pure white as a stretch of snow in winter.

Raphael lowered his head and furiously played his fingers. "I don't have a place to stay anymore, can I come with you."

Ashlyn furrowed her brows and thought that she did not want to accept the child. However, as she thought about what had happened to the child, Ashlyn said nothing but to turn around and walk away.

Whether he follows her or not. However, if the boy chooses to follow her, Ashlyn doesn't mind because the boy is just like her.

Hated and unwanted by everyone.
