Chapters. 11 - Xiao Ruo's

Huanxu, Xiao Family Residence, 11 years ago.

”Authoric child! You will not be the successor of the family!” ketus a seven-year-old boy along with the three young people who sided with him.

”Whispering!” his yell. Xiao Qing Xuan who got the sneer, felt very upset and he threw a pebble that finally hit right on the forehead of the young man. ”I'll ask my father to expel you all!”

”Huh! Be brave apparently.” said the young man who got a wound on his forehead. ”Hard him! Don't let him loose this time!”

Right after saying so, these few youngsters instantly struck Xiao Qing Xuan simultaneously. Surely, Xiao Qing Xuan herself would not stay silent and try to fight back even though her current strength was not comparable to the strength possessed by these four young people.

In the end, Xiao Qing Xuan became extremely cornered and she could only face down on the ground while holding her head that was hit repeatedly as well as her entire body that was continuously kicked by them.

”Hah? Just this is your ability? So weak!” the sneer of a young boy who spat on top of Xiao Qing Xuan's head.

Xiao Qing Xuan became even more furious. He tried to get back up even though his legs could not support his own body. With a face full of bruises and blood at the corner of his lips, Xiao Qing Xuan stared at them angrily.

”I'm not a bastard! I will definitely be the next head of the family and you must take responsibility for what you have done to me!” he shouted while running towards one of the young people in front of him. However, with a little exertion, Xiao Qing Xuan remained slammed backwards by the group of young people who were fighting him.

”Why not give up and admit that you are an illegitimate child? Do you know why the head of the family remarried another woman?” said the young man while pulling Xiao Qing Xuan's front hair and whispering it, ”... That's because she doesn't love your mom at all.”

Hearing this, Xiao Qing Xuan became even more enraged. He punched the young man in the face to make him fall to the side. A moment later, he stood up and hardened his fist.

”You don't have the right to talk!” yelled Xiao Qing Xuan who immediately ran over to the youngster in front of him. He immediately sat down and lashed his face as hard as he could and he did not care whether his opponent would die or not.

Just as Xiao Qing Xuan was beating up the youngster who kept sneering at him, three other young people came to help. And in the end, Xiao Qing Xuan remained defeated due to the difference in strength. He fell back with wounds all over his body and a head that was bleeding. The three youngsters beat him mercilessly even making him unable to move at all.

”You are just a son of a bitch! Your mother should have died! She died having to give birth to you!” shouted the young man who had just been beaten by him.

Xiao Qing Xuan did not respond as she could not move her entire limb and even her voice alone could not be let out. In his mind, he was furious and was eager to smash their faces to pieces. However, since he was currently just an ordinary person, he would not be able to fight against four people at once.

”Huh! Be fat! It's useless! Damn bearer! You better go to Mubei! They still receive weak children like you!” sniff the youngster while spitting on Xiao Qing Xuan's head and leaving with the other three youngsters.

Shortly after, Xiao Qing Xuan tried to sit back in her place. He looked bloody and his hair looked very messy. His expression looked sad with both eyes puffy. Rubbing both of his eyes, Xiao Qing Xuan said to someone hiding behind a tree, ”... Why are you just keeping quiet? Are you happy to see me tormented like this?”

A short while after, Xiao Ruo came out from behind a tree and showed himself in front of Xiao Qing Xuan. ”Sorry. I don't know what to do now.” he said while distracting him.

Xiao Qing Xuan gritted her teeth and shouted, ”I hate you! I really hate you! Why would my father marry your poor and uneducated mother?! Because of you, everyone thinks my father never loved my mother! You are the real unlucky carrier!” his screams immediately ran away from the place while rubbing his eyes.

Xiao Ruo looked guilty. He lowered his gaze and pondered it for a while.

A delicate hand, touching Xiao Ruo's shoulder made him wake up from his daydream. He turned to look at the young man who was standing next to him.

The young man with white hanfu was a black crane, smiling kindly at him. ”My name, Liu Zhang Chen. By the way, can I meet your father?”

Xiao Ruo gasped in surprise and immediately replied, ”But, my father he is no more.”

Liu Zhang Chen was stunned and asked back, ”Xiao Lian Lei is not your father? Isn't your mother married to him?”

Xiao Ruo looked doubtful as he replied, ”Yes, it is indeed like that. But, the young master never wanted to admit it.”

”Then you just have to make him admit you, right?” chirping Liu Zhang Chen. ”... You only judge it from the outside. Actually, he's the one who fits you. You just need to make precious memories for her.”

”But, how to?” asked Xiao Ruo.

Liu Zhang Chen placed his palm over Xiao Ruo's head and said, ”Prove that you love him like a sister.”

As soon as he heard it, Xiao Ruo smiled happily and said, ”Thank you for brother already said such a good thing to me. I owe you so much.” he said enthusiastically and after that, he immediately ran towards the departure of Xiao Qing Xuan.

Xiao Ruo immediately ran towards the tabebuya flower tree that grew near the residence. Even though the tree was in the middle of the forest, Xiao Ruo knew that Xiao Qing Xuan was very fond of the tabebuya flower. Therefore, he immediately ran to the place without hesitation. Shortly after, he saw Xiao Qing Xuan who was on a tree branch. He buried his face in the bend of his knee and his right hand held a small branch that had withered leaves.

”Young master! Young master!” xiao Ruo's exclaim that managed to invite Xiao Qing Xuan's attention to look at him immediately.

”Why come to me to this place? You've been wasting your time.” sniffled Xiao Qing Xuan who looked at him in annoyance.

”I know young master really likes Tabebuya flowers because of that, I immediately ran here. By the way, I want to apologize for my actions. After I thought, it turned out that I was the one who was wrong for not being able to act like a good brother to you.”

”Why do you still think of me as your sister?! I don't accept if you get into my life—

Suddenly, Xiao Qing Xuan vomited a mouthful of blood from her throat. And so he ended his words because he could no longer speak. Xiao Ruo himself felt extremely shocked after blood dripped on the surface of the ground. He immediately stared at Xiao Qing Xuan and saw her holding onto a large tree to prevent her from falling.

”Young master! Come here!” yelled Xiao Ruo who looked worried about him.

”No need to worry about me! I know you're just pretending!” reply shouted Xiao Qing Xuan. ”... You better tell me what your purpose is to approach me? Do you want to be the next head of the family? Is that your real goal?!”

Xiao Ruo was startled and immediately said, ”No young master! I don't want it at all! I just want to protect young Master.”

”Lying! I can't believe it!” Xiao Qing Xuan shouted so loudly that he was unaware of his current state. He vomited a mouthful of blood and finally fell from the tree.

Quickly, Xiao Ruo caught up to him as he almost touched the ground. However, he had to be slammed hard backwards as his current weight was not strong enough to hold back the body of Xiao Qing Xuan who had fallen from the top of the tree.

”Uhh,... So hurt. It seems like my shoulder sprained.” Inner Xiao Ruo as he managed to catch Xiao Qing Xuan. ”... Has the young master's congenital illness returned? Real hot. Does he have a fever?”
