Chapters. 40 - Trap

The moment the huge hammer was about to hit his body, Xiao Qing Xuan quickly touched the part of the hammer that was about to hit him. After that, he unconsciously threw the hammer so that, the person who used it was also thrown.

”Eh? Am I really that strong? Ahh, it's impossible. Don't I'm being possessed.”

Xiao Qing Xuan looked surprised upon seeing him. However, he tried to be sure that all of that was not his original strength.

”I am not a soul like the dead! I am the hope of those who seek revenge. So, I will only be your strength and not a demon controlling humans.” explains Xianyun Yuan who did not get an answer from Xiao Qing Xuan for a while.

”It seems, your feeling is not good. You suddenly thought of a human child who once saved you.”, Xiao Qing Xuan said, making Xianyun Yuan look stunned after hearing that.

Xianyun Yuan chuckled and said, ”It's only natural that you know. You and I are connected. So, I know what you're gonna do after this. And, may I warn you one thing?”

Xiao Qing Xuan looked surprised and directly asked, ”What is it?” ask him with curiosity.

Xianyun Yuan replied a moment later, ”Beware of Jiu Meishan. If he really comes then, you only have two options. Run or fight it to death.”

Xiao Qing Xuan was instantly speechless after hearing that. He knew that Jiu Meishan was a deceitful god that was dangerous enough that even Xiao Ruo forbade him to cross paths with him. Despite that, he did not know why Jiu Meishan was so dangerous. To be sure, it seems that Jiu Meishan is an enemy of the entire world.

Xiao Qing Xuan directly took his sword back. After that, he ran toward a cloud of dust smoke that flew after he threw a large hammer along with the person who used it.

However, at this moment the two figures had suddenly disappeared without a trace. He could not even feel the strength of the two of them. It seemed, at this moment the two people were not eyeing him. They were simply stalling for time so that Xiao Qing Xuan could be far away from her residence.

”Can I see wrong?”

On the other hand, Liu Zhang Chen who had returned to Huan Xu got a huge shock. Suddenly, the living corpses dug a hole out and attacked the villagers who were there. By itself, Liu Zhang Chen ended up fighting without using a sword.

Moments after he saw it, a young man raised a large hammer which then collided with the barrier wall to make the wall shatter instantly.

The undead finally managed to enter and destroy everything.

Just as Liu Zhang Chen was about to move back a few steps, a few human hands suddenly appeared that directly held his feet. Then, just then also reappeared a girl who ran towards him with a few daggers on her small fingers.

As he was about to fight it, those hands had managed to hold both of his hands so that he could not move. And when the girl was very close to him, appeared a woman with a red hanfu who immediately kicked the girl's head so that he crashed a few steps away from her.

”Chunyue? You still here?” asked Liu Zhang Chen who looked surprised after he saw the whereabouts of Chunyue and Chu Rong who were fighting the young man with his big hammer.

Chunyue looked at him lazily. He immediately withdrew Liu Zhang Chen's hand so that the hands of the corpse were successfully separated from him.

Chunyue slapped Liu Zhang Chen in the face and said, ”In times like these, you still ask about such a ridiculous thing?! You should immediately understand how the situation is right now.” he wrote with great annoyance.

Liu Zhang Chen fell silent and listened to him speak for a while.

Chunyue sighed and said, ”Forget what I said. I already know. You shouldn't leave your students alone there. Don't you know that right now, Jiu Meishan is after her?”
