Being a Dad to My Niece
Chapters 135. The Prejudice Behind the Intan Accident

Chapter 135

On Saturday morning, Alva and the others went to Bandung to visit Intan. They deliberately go early in the morning so as not to get stuck in traffic. The young man was driving and in the passenger seat next to him was the younger brother. Safira was in the back seat with Alfie. The girl was babbling and the baby was laughing.

"Alfi, why are you so funny? Mama's gonna be gushing with you." Sapphira kissed the baby's stomach and made him laugh.

Through the rear-view mirror Alva saw Safira and Alfi. A thin smile due to amused now adorned his face. And so did Arshy, who had a little laugh.

"Thankfully funny face, if serem later Papa Alva will be afraid. Moreover, Mami Arshy, she must have run away in droves," continued Safira and greeted the naughtiness of Alfi.

Alva who heard that laughed while Arshy just snorted while throwing his face towards the window. Sapphira herself continued to invite the baby to talk.

"Are Safi not tired of babbling on? It's been an hour non-stop, loh!" asked Arshy while looking back.

"No. Because talking to Alfi is no different from talking to Alva. I continued to be alone. He responded to her only "Hn" , "Yes", "No", or "Don't". Not much different from Alfi," Safira replied with a mocking laugh to Alva who was seen glaring for a moment at him.

It did not feel like their car had reached the hospital parking lot. They then asked the inpatient room where Intan received treatment.

"Papa has to find out what happened to our daughter" said Tiara, Intan's mother.

Alva, Safira, and Arshy were silent at the door. They refused to knock on the door. Since there were both parents talking about something important, they decided to wait in front of the room.

"Yes, papa will ask the help of some detectives to find out why Intan could have an accident" Zamzam replied.

"Mama suspects this has something to do with Feri, Pa," Tiara said softly.

"Why can you think like that?" ask Om Zamzam.

"Which betrothed never came to see his future wife lying in a coma" Tiara replied.

Safira was surprised to hear the name of the person mentioned by his mother Intan. Previously his friend was told in fiancee by both parents with a man named Feri. The girl initially accepts, let alone Feri is a handsome and well-established man. However, a few months back Indah told me she wanted to end their engagement.

Alva noticed a change in facial expression on Safira. He was sure that his best friend knew something. The young man patted his shoulder to regain his senses from his daydream.

"What's wrong?" ask Alva curious.

The young man looked at the girl standing beside him. The two stared at each other for a moment. Then Safira pulls Alva's hand and is followed by Arshy. They went to the park in front of the hospital building.

"What's wrong?" alva asked impatiently.

"I remember something about Intan. Did you hear Aunt Tiara say a man's name?" Safira asked back.

"Feri is a man who was betrothed to Intan when he entered college. He's Aunt Tiara's best friend's son. Although they were betrothed, but the two were interested in each other," continued Safira.

Alva and Arshy fell silent to the story. It is not unusual for parents to match their children. For example Azka since childhood has been betrothed to Queensha, his son Pandu.

"Then, where's Feri now?" alva asked becoming curious about the figure of the man.

Safira shook his head. She never met, but knew her face because Intan often showed them pictures of them together.

"I think it's true said Aunt Tiara. Surely Feri has something to do with the accident that happened to Intan. Fiancee period accident does not come to visit. Moreover, Intan until such a coma," replied Safira.

Safira's words have a point, too. It is impossible for a future husband to be so good-natured to her husband.

After an hour they were in the park with the trees adorning the garden, finally deciding to enter the inpatient room where Intan was still lying.

How happy Intan was when he saw Sapphira coming to see him. Something he never expected. The two girls were talking about the night of the fateful incident. Although Intan's memory was still vague he still remembered some things that had befallen him these few months.

"I will tell you everything I can still remember Sapphira ... Alva. I bet my life holds this secret," Intan said in a soft voice and sobbed for enduring the pain all over her body.

"Yes, say everything that feels like a burden in your life" Safira said, hugging her friend.

At this time both of Intan's parents went home to rest first. They were so exhausted from keeping Intan all this time. So, Safira told them that she would be guarding the diamond until tomorrow.

Alfi and Arshy stayed at the hotel because babies were forbidden to visit. Thus, only Alva and Sapphira accompanied Intan.

"I didn't think Feri was a psychopath. At first I didn't know because he was always nice and never said rude let alone rude. Until a few months before my accident, I accidentally followed him. He came to a house that had a high fortress. I don't know who that house belongs to. I pretended to send him a message, asking him where he was. It turned out that he was lying, he said he was in the office" Intan said in a soft voice.

"Until night Feri didn't come out of that house either. Out of curiosity I also found out the owner of the house. People say it's Leonard's house or Feri's cousin. Until I told someone to do an investigation because Feri was always lying. The report I got turned out that in that house there were many young women who experienced violence. You guys must understand what I mean. Still according to reports, if Feri is one of the culprits," said Intan immediately crying deeply.

Sapphira further tightened her embrace to Intan. The girl was crying too. While Alva clenched his hands because he felt angry for the crimes that had happened to weak women.

"We should report with the police so that they immediately crack down on their evil deeds" Safira said.

"can't. They were very neatly hiding it all. I once asked one of my brothers who was a cop to help me make a report. When the police went to TKP, everything was fine. There are no women who are victims of it" replied Intan.

"And do you know what happens next?" Intan stared intently at Safira.
