Being a Dad to My Niece

Being a Dad to My Niece
Chapter 59. Guests In The Blind Morning

Chapter 59

After finishing the morning prayer, Arga did not go home. He chose to walk through the rice fields while enjoying the cold morning air, because the sun had not yet appeared. Unknowingly now he reached the backyard of Bagas house.

The man's smile expands when he sees Marsha teaching. He missed the voice of the woman while reading the Quran. Arga is currently standing in front of the window of his ex-wife's room.

"Dad!" call Alva who just woke up and face the window.

Arga smiled as he waved to his hero. The man also gave his handsome smile to Marsha.

Alva got out of the bed and ran towards the window that opened slightly. The boy got on the dresser chair to open the window even wider.

"Why are you standing here?" asked Alva while sticking out both hands to be carried.

"Want to see Mommy with Alva" replied Arga as she carried the boy through the wooden frame.

Marsha was of course surprised by the arrival of Arga in a blind morning like this. The white spray in the eastern horizon has not been seen.

"What's wrong?" ask Marsha after she finishes folding her face.

"Same miss you two. So, subconsciously my foot stepped here," replied Arga.

If it passes through the rice field from the house of Arga to the house of Marsha will be closer. Different if you go by the highway, it will be very far.

"Feelings yesterday we played a long time," Marsha said with a smile.

Somehow he was happy to see Arga's current appearance. The man was wearing Muslim clothes and a sarong. Black coffee adorns his head. Handsome, that was what Marsha had in mind earlier when she saw him.

"His body always misses you both" said Arga with a longing look at her heart.

Marsha tells Arga to go into her house. He'll prepare breakfast. Alva took a shower together. Without Arga guessing, his clothes that were once stored in Marsha's closet are still there.

"You didn't throw it away?" asked Arga with a full day.

"I also forgot that there was Kak Arga's clothes in the closet" Marsha replied after giving the man's clothes.

Marsha herself rarely opens the lower closet that was used by Arga to store her goods. So, he doesn't know there's still.

Arga's heart was pounding as Marsha picked up rice and side dishes for him. A sense of happiness is clearly visible from the radiant eyes while watching the former.

Unlike last night when Dewi took vegetable lodeh for him. It was not the happiness he felt, that there was even an annoyance. Maybe it was love that made him like this.

"Sir Arga is leaving for the capital at what time?" ask Marsha.

"It looks like the afternoon. Aren't we going out for a walk together today?" Arga asked back.

Marsha smiled broadly. Today they made a promise to go for a walk together. Especially yesterday the two former in-laws failed to come along. So, today is the chance they will go have fun. However, suddenly the woman's face was grim as she recalled Arga's eyes. Yesterday it was clear the old woman's words were insulting and demeaning. It seems like he will return to heart meal if he meets with Sari.

As soon as they finished breakfast, Arga helped wash the dishes. Meanwhile, Marsha tidied up the kitchen, sweeping and mopping the floors. Looks like a compact married couple when cleaning the house. It is no stranger to these two. In the past, Arga apartments often helped wash dishes or cook.

"Arga, your father just called. He becomes your presence" said Bagas to the kitchen area.

"Oh, yes. Thanks, Dad. After this, Arga will also return home. Later at nine in the morning will come back to pick you up," Arga replied.

"Yes. Alva is impatient like it is," said Indah who carried the handsome grandson.

As soon as Arga entered the house there was Sari sitting on the sofa and facing towards the door. The old woman's eyes glared as Arga passed through the place.

"Where have you come from? It was early in the morning!" ask Sari with her voice.

The old woman never raised her voice when talking to her grandchildren. Moreover, Arga is a favorite grandson, because he is the first grandson.

"Having been looking for a future angel of heaven, Eyang," Arga replied then he left because he did not want to fight with his grandmother.

"Hey, back Arga! Eyang hasn't finished talking yet" cried Sari.

The goddess brought warm sweet tea to Sari. The woman saw the irritation from the look on her face. Then, he massaged the wrinkled arm slowly.

"That don't keep getting angry. Why, after all, did Eyang scold Mas Arga so often?" ask the Goddess gently.

"Arga must have met that cheap lady! You don't like it," Sari replied in an annoyed tone.

Dewi also told Sari to drink her sweet tea first so that emotions subside. If you are angry then impact to all residents of the house.

"If Eyang is angry continue to be the same Mas Arga, later there he will hate and fight the same Eyang, loh!" The goddess was persuading the old woman.

Sari was silent and thought of the words of the Goddess. He confirmed that, because all this time both Arga and Sakti always loved him also obedient. Both of his grandchildren never denied. Instead, they often spoiled him if they were together.

Remembering the past makes Sari miss those times. Togetherness is always filled with laughter and the jest of his family. But now there is just the opposite.

"Mom, I'm going to pick up Alva first" Barata said at Sari's request last night.

"Ah, yes. Tell me Alva will be staying here too!" sari's word to her son and Barata nodded.

The goddess only silently stared at Barata going outside the house. Tomorrow Monday he began working at the man's co-operative and warehouse.

"What's up, Wi?" ask Sari.

"Would Arga marry again soon? Pakdhe now only has Mas Arga. Who will continue his business? Kayak eyang kakung who has one child, now his business is managed by others. Not by having many children later will anyone help the family business? Moreover, Alva is not the son of Mas Arga. A child born out of an extramarital relationship has no inheritance, Eyang. If Mas Arga had no children, then who would inherit all the Wibowo family's wealth?"

The goddess spoke long and clear. He was trying to take Sari's heart. The woman of course hoped that her words would be in Sari's heart.
