Chapter 24. The Jealous Sister

Yuan found it difficult to move when he woke up again that afternoon. Slowly he opened his eyes. How surprised Yuan when he saw Andri was hugging his body tightly and following a nap on the sofa.

Yuan smiled gently as he looked at the husband who he thought was being so sweet. Andri looks very calm and charming when sleeping. Initially Yuan intended to get up soon to prepare dinner.

However, looking at the exhausted-looking husband, Yuan undoes his intentions. She chose to remain silent and wait for her husband to wake up. After waiting for almost half an hour, Andri finally started to squirm.

"Sore, Sir! How's sleep? Wakeless?" asked Yuan with a fluffy smile.

Andri opened her eyes wide. He smiled, then kissed the top of his wife's head. Andri tries to get up aided by Yuan.

"How is it not good? Beside me was a very beautiful and fragrant angel!" Andri tried to praise Yuan for his wife to be happy.

"I'm going to the kitchen to cook. What is Andri going to eat?"

"Anything from no seafood." Andri smiled gently as she tucked the Yuan hairdo behind the ears.

Yuan fused the tip of his thumb and forefinger to form an OK sign. After Andri landed a kiss on her cheek, she rushed down from the sofa and walked towards the kitchen. She cooks for everyone.

The clock shows at 18:00 when Ismoyo's family is having dinner. A little laugh enveloped them. Everyone laughed cheerfully and threw jokes at each other.

Only one person has trouble laughing even just to smile. Who else if not Riana. He really did not like that all his family members looked familiar and liked Yuan.

"Hey, Ri!" call Andri in a friendly tone.

Riana who was originally staring intently at Yuan now turned her eyes to Andri. Andri also squinted. Riana was getting upset now.

Riana lost the attention of her sister. He was jealous of Yuan. A jealousy that should not be.

"Ri, you actually have a problem what the hell is the same mbakmu?" asked Andri in a cold tone.

"Which mother, huh? I don't have mbak, tuh!" Riana put her spoon on the plate so roughly that it made a loud noise.

Seeing Riana's behavior makes Anton intervene. He cleared his throat, then rubbed his lips using a tissue. The man stared firmly at his only daughter.

"Ri, eat it right. Never make a scene with family!" reprimand Anton.

"Riana has no appetite, sir!" Riana turned back the chair, then ran towards the stairs.

"Riana!" call Drini.

Riana ignored the mother's scream. He continued to climb the stairs with quick steps. Drini was about to catch up with the child, but Anton prevented her.

"Let's go, Mom! Let him calm himself. He's an adult, so he should have a mind like a normal adult."

As soon as the sentence came out of Anton's lips, Drini could not even twitch. He simply answered Anton's advice with a nod. Meanwhile Andri and Yuan stared at each other.

Andri grasped the fingers of the wife and then rubbed her lovingly. Yuan smiled faintly at Andri. Although upset with Riana's behavior, Yuan should not be provoked by emotions.

"I'm sorry Riana, huh? You have to be patient when you face it." Andri moved his fingers from the back of Yuan's hand to the top of his wife's head.

Andri really feels lucky to have a wife as patient as Yuan. He promised in his heart to keep his wife smiling. Enough of the ill treatment he had given Yuan.

From that day on, Riana really got further away. He no longer wanted to sit one table with Yuan when eating. Sometimes Yuan and Andri choose to eat in the room when Riana is at home.

They do it because they want to give time to Riana and her parents to enjoy time together. Yuan and Andri did that not out of hatred for Riana. They just wanted Riana not to think that Yuan had shifted her position as her only daughter.

"I'm going to take coffee to your study first, Mom." Yuan, who was originally standing in the kitchen, said goodbye to Andri.

"Yes, I'm going to fall in the room first. I'll be in the room, okay?" goda Andri while raising his eyebrows.

Yuan smiled amusedly, then walked towards the stairs. He knocked on the door and only entered after being allowed by Anton. Yuan immediately came out of Anton's study after putting a cup of coffee on the table.

When exiting Anton's study, Riana also came out of her room. The two of them threw cynical gazes at each other. Yuan tried to ignore Riana, but suddenly her sister-in-law stopped.

"Stop!" riana shouted.

Inevitably Yuan also stopped the move. He turned right, then looked cynically at the sister-in-law. Riana continued to shorten her distance with Yuan.

When it was right in front of Yuan, suddenly the woman pushed her chest. Yuan lost his balance. However, he managed to hold on to the trellis of the stairs.

Feeling that what she did failed, Riana did not just stop. He approached Yuan who was trying to restore balance. Without the slightest pity he released Yuan's hand from the trellis forcefully.

"Riana! You are so evil!" yang Yuan when his hand slipped off the trellis.

The master continued to move his hand hoping to get another object that could be relied upon to support his weight. Turns out the effort worked. Yuan can grab Riana's shirt.

Unfortunately, Riana is losing her balance. The two women finally rolled on the stairs and ended up on the floor. Yuan was still conscious, but Riana closed her eyes.

Yuan rushed up with a body that felt crumpled dim. He approached Riana while shaking the body of the sister-in-law. However, Riana did not respond.

"Mas Andri, please!" yelled Yuan with a panicked face and teary eyes.

Hearing a loud shout from Yuan, Andri rushed out of the room. Not only Andri, but Anton, Drini, and Sumi also ran towards Yuan and Riana.

"What's going on?" anton asked while checking his daughter's condition carefully.

"We fell down the stairs, sir." Yuan's voice trembled as he was still shocked by what he had just experienced.

"You can, what's the story?" ask Drini to panic.

"Then, Riana ...." Yuan's words hung in the air as Riana started to move and made everyone's focus turn to her.

"Liana, which part is sick?" anton asked as soon as he saw Riana awake.

Riana glanced at Yuan and slowly her tears instantly flowed down. Drini approached the princess, then hugged her tightly. He tried to calm Riana down.
